As long as your using an official samsung firmware and the same device model - flashing with Odin 3.10.6 will not trip Knox.

International variant firmware to flash?

So I have bit the bullet and purchased a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge T-Mobile variant from Amazon.DE and was wondering what firmware do I need to flash to get the international firmware on it (I assume I need to use Odin for this? Will this trip Knox)?
The firmware is labeled as UK/EU international on Sammobile.
Wouldn't trip Know but might not be worth flashing as I heard the T-mobile isn't branded.

It will but I haven't tried to flash an international rom in fear a brick will occur
Flashed mine a few times between the O2 UK and Generic UK firmware and Knox hasn't been tripped. The only issue I've seen so far is being unable to get the O2 splash screen back.

Nope not supported. I have tried. Only root method working is cf autoroot
Hi,
I have a similar question : my 6.0.1 version is G925FXXS4DPG1 and it seems to be not available on the XDA thread for Ping Pong root.
I don't have a computer to root my S6 Edge so I wanted to know if there is a risk to root my S6 Edge with Ping-pong root and a version not registered by the developers?
Thank you!

I have g925f 6.0.1
Ping pong root will not work. It doesn't support marshmallow or s6 edge. I have tried it and got fail.
Try cf autoroot. I rooted mine 3 days ago with autoroot. Just flash the root and done in 2 minutes.

Installing BTU stock ROM

I guys.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge (G925F) that was originally locked to Vodafone UK. I have unlocked the phone (a few months ago) by using the IMEI. At the moment the phone is rooted (still using the original ROM) and my CSC is still VOD. Just the information that when I rooted the phone I've tripped Knox.
Now I would like to install a BTU stock ROM. Can I simply download it and flash it or will I have any trouble doing so?
Thank you very much guys.

se puede instalar en la versión m, sm-510M?
Working on my galaxy a510f!
But samsung has added too much app, there is a way to root the phome with android 7.0?
So can I flash this via odin without tripping the knox counter?
Installed it. Worked like a charm! I didn't even have to re install my applications, because it kept them all! The only problem is the wifi. It looks a bit unstable. But a restart solved the problem.... I think....
Do i need root for this and does it trip the flash counter?

No, you don't need ROOT. You can install it from ODIN. Also, rooting will trip Knox which will void warranty.
Will odin trip the counter? And will my warranty still be valid afterwards?

Yeap. My knock counter is still 0 even after I flashed this firmware. So your warranty will still be valid. Also, you won't have to re install any of your apps because it keeps everything that you had on your phone.
Work in sm-a510M?
Will i be able to receive future OTA updates through settings after i update to this one through odin?
