Maybe SailfishOS and Firefox OS, but WP and iOs... I really don't think so.

To date, there has NOT been a single android device that has Windows Phone OR iOS to my knowledge. SailfishOS and FirefoxOS both are developed on Linux on which Android is also based and that's why it can be ported in a way.
However, a ROM that is actually based on android but is themed to look like iOS/WP is very much possible. I hope this answers your question

I am new in XDA developer forum. I knew java and android at the immediate level. Now I'm interested in creating my own Android smartphone ROM. After searching in google, I see that there are a thing which is called "Default ROM" released by google. Base on this ROM, different companies created different ROM in their own style such as Sense, Motoblur, TouchWiz, etc.
So where could I download such a default ROM, and how could I begin with ROM developer. It is kind from my if anybody could give me a tutorial.
(Sorry if the question is exist in the forum, because I could not find it)
Thanks a lot.
Best regards,
me too, i have the same question, can someone help? thx
Your best bet is to have a look at compiling the aosp from source which you will need a Linux os for. The android sdk is a good place to start.

Yes to build android from Google's source you will have to have a Linux os. Either stand alone Linux or a version like ubuntu

One place you can start by checking and has a lot of good info is http://freeyourandroid.com/
I learned how to port from them although I still need to ask questions but it can get you started.
If you just want to get Ubunto going in a virtual machine for now and have NO IDEA take a look at this: http://theunlockr.com/2010/03/26/ho...om-for-android-part-1-setting-up-the-kitchen/
Old release links but Ubunto will update itself

This is the second thread you've started today about alternative operating systems for the Evo 3D. Maybe you should have bought another phone if you don't like Android?

Try launcher 7..its good
"launcher8" is better IMO.
@neonlove Unless WindowsPhone OS become OPEN SOURCE then NO you can't get WP on your device.
Because Android is OPEN SOURCE you can see Android being ported to iPhone and even to WP phones.

Them iPhone and windows users are envious
Alright , nowaddays there are many new OS like firefox OS, Blackberry 10 OS, blackberry 7 os, and many more!
So can you developers port all the latest rom to our mdpi devices????????? It will be really kind of you guys to do that!
1. Firefox OS: I think there's nowhere we could start to port it, so currently not possible
2. Blackberry OS 10: I don't think it's possible or if, it would be too hard to do, because it's not an android os
3. Many More: All Android based roms (should) be possible to be ported, but it's hard (e.g. sense). I guess there will be some developers who could do this, but our devices are no high end devices...
Better a phone with a well working android os than a buggy/lagging non-android os

BlackBerry os is closed source so you can't port it.

With Project Astoria in Windows 10 it maybe possible that the devs of XBMC will port this application, I hope so.

Somebody on Kodi forum said, that it won't bi possible to port android version to WP even with project astoria, because of some application specific architecture.

I understand having a lookalike however, I mean the actual IOS Software so I could run things like Imessage and Facetime or any other IOS Apps, I only ask because it is possible to jailbreak an Iphone to have andriod OS, but i do not know if its possible vis versa.(Im not asking to change the IOS Software, I know its closed source, but i asking if we could copy it onto an android system.)
