anyone can any do this
You need to be rooted!
Simply run this command as root and upload it here in this thread
Code:
If you wanto t create your own dump from a friends device the command in a rooted adb shell would be as follows but not exact depending where you want the dump file to end up being on your sd cards. "dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0 of=/storage/sdcard1/debrick.bin bs=1024 count=81920" NOTE: the device has to be rooted with a working busybox that supports the dd command.
you can use the file i uploaded and flash it
this may help any users of galaxy star that is hard brick

1st i thought notification bar hiding for greenify.
Then i saw without it , also happenz.
Then i guessed its for kernel.
Seems that no.
Now i m thinking something else.
I installed too many tweaks nd all messed up.
Benchmark went down from 7390 to 4806.
Everytime i install roms i dont clear or format sys, cache, boot, preload, data.
So my guess is,those tweaks always stays as i dont clear them.

whenever i flash stock or stock modded kernel with build DDAMH1 it happens.
But,with a custom kernel like ZD,seems its ok.
Tell me what is ur build version nd kernel.
Coz i did a superclean install, but it did happened again.
formatted
Data
cache
dalvik
system
cache
data
sd
boot

nd
everything..
tried twrp cleaning instead cwm..
but
nothing solved.
but it never happened with zd kernel.
But unfortunately zd kernel lags on my phone(ex:with game like gta 3)
i can play it on stock kernel without problem.
And that happens when my phone is unrooted too.
Final decission is,
I will stop using gts5282 nd get a XPERIA Z.

then u can try the three button option
turn off ur phone then hold VOLup+home+powrbutt until u see recovery from there go 2 advance do fixpermissions and reboot system and see
if u cant do the above then u have 2 use downld mode to flash a .tar file of the cwm recovery or the stock ics rom from odin

I had a weird problem of dissapearing IMEI(corrupt EFS?!):
when left for a couple of days without battery, IMEI appeared and everything seemed well, until inserting a SIM card, when things gone crazy and IMEI & baseband dissapear, to reappear again after a couple of days with phone left without SIM & battery.
But this (wonderful) piece of software HC-kTool did the magic and IMEI & phone are back again!
HI,
My dell streak gets stuck on dell logo and then reboots again and again. it was not rooted and was working fine on froyo 2.2 O2.
Ive tried installing the update package from recovery mode by selecting install update.pkg from sd card but i get an error saying e:can't mount update.pkg.
After searching i performed an memory test from fastboot; Sd card test passes but the internal memory test fails and gives an error: Cmd/Data test fail. a few days back my computer had a trojan virus and it was converting the folder into shortcuts. I dont know for sure but i think it could have been the cause of this problem as i plug my phone to the pc almost everyday
ill be glad if someone can help me through this. plz can some1 help me through this.plz i really need my dell streak working ill appreciate any kind of help... Thank you

The trojan you are talking most surely affect only the SDcard, a friend of mine had the same issue on a different device.
I would recommend installing a custom Recovery like Streakmod, flash 366 bb and a ROM like DSC, Longhorn or LXdroid, as those mentioned have the universal kernel that don't check the BaseBand.
Totally wiping everything is a must!
Flashing recovery can be done easely using the MultiFlashing tool provided in the Android Development section, so all this mess wouldn't take more than 1 hour (with reading and wandering if it's safe - it is safe, ia assure you )
Hope this helps/works

Well, i will update the first post of my LXdroid ROM with a tutorial, if you want a fully funtional with the least amounts of bugs i will recommend DSC ROM.
But this is not required if you want to keep the original 2.2 firmware, as almost all the custom ROM's that i've talked about are 2.3.x.
the tutorial will be written, Your choice

once you have done that... just do the dell factory reset (white text black background menu)...

As far as i know, you can't possibly install update.pkg using custom recovery, you must install a stock recovery and after that you can flash the update.pkg as it is (update.pkg), changing the extension does nothing
Hope this helps.

Search the forum as there should be an article covering the process. In short, you either have to take the Streak apart, or cut away some of the plastic above the SIM card slot to get to the internal MicroSD.

Ah ok, can you set up ADB, because it's needed to get access to your root folder.
Afterwards, you need to download this file, it's the firmware for your device https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B4AdByfaH4T0WWJEQlNjeHg4bzg/edit
If you have setup your adb and it's running, extract the firmware on your desktop and go to the path "simcom77_twn_cu_ics2-ota-I968.I968.02.05.G.A-V1.0.1B04P85.zip\system\media" without quotes, and copy all the files (via adb) in your phone's /system/media/ and before doing that delete the previous files that are corrupted. After that your phone will be fixed!

Did you make a Nandroid Backup when you first Rooted the Device ? If so, Boot into Recovery. Then restore your Nandroid. If not then you can either Flash a Custom Rom, or the Stock Rom Rooted. Either should resolve your issues.

I'm very curious about flashing ROMs. Now I have problem with my funbook infinity but I have all flashing softwares which is required for flashing like Original Funbook Factory Image, Livesuit, USB drivers etc. I'm scared and in doubt that will flashing my tab will fix all problems. I want to be confirmed that flashing will help me to fix my problem with the tab and it will not do any permanent damage to my funbook tab.
1- will it solve problems?
If software problem, probably. If hardware problem, definitely not.
2- got risk of bricking/damaging/create more problems?
There's always risk.

Before even flashing a rom, what's wrong with it?
Sent from an Xposed LG-G2/LS-980
if you take the right procedure, flashing rom will not make any permanent damage to your funbook.
in my experience flashing rom is make our device back to original if you flash factory rom.
if problem come from OS yes your problem will fix,
but if problem come from hardware like camera ic, lcd etc. no you can't fix your problem

If I flash my tab with livesuit then does it will need the google USB driver or my funbook device driver distributed from its official website.

Use
Its Necessary That U Should 1st Make A Backup . nd then try rom. if anything goes wrong then just Restore The rom.
If U want to know that u will need USB drivers after flashing Rom then ask the person who know about that rom ....

Home button didn't work but power on/off button turned off my funbook. I turned on my funbook again the same problem mentioned in this thread --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2583218&highlight=reset+after+every+reboot I have 2 option left (1) goto it's service center for its repair and void my warranty buy saying that this problem is caused by downloading the busybox x software from play store. (2) Flash it with Original Funbook factory Image. Tell me which option should I choose 1 or 2 ??

Ok I have the stock Funbook factory Image. But my doubt is not that. My device go reset after every reboot so my question is:
Q: During the flashing process the device may boot several times, so will the reset problem interfere between flashing process ?
Q: Interfere by reset problem will not cause any malfunction to my funbook.

Today Some Of My Games were Not Running .. So I thought To install Chainfire 3D On My Mote E. Upon Installing Chainfire 3D, Phone Restarted and Then After It ,It is Not Booting Up.. It stay For ever at " Bootlocker Unlocked " Page.. Nothing After It .. I tried Going Into TWRP Recovery ,Did Everything Possible From There, i.e, Wipe Data To Format Data But Nothing Seems To Be Working ..
Please Help Me Out As Its Being Only A week I Had This Phone And My Parents Are Now Going to Kill For Messing Up All this.
Please Senior Member.. Help Me Out
Thanks..

Contact flipkart ASAP!
^ Contact flipkart ? The OP has unlocked the bootloader and rooted the phone. The OP also installed Chainfire 3D and modified the software of the device. If I were flipkart owner/staff, even I would'nt help such customers frankly.
What I suggest is, you remove the modifications made by Chainfire 3D to the system if any via adb in TWRP.
If you decided to root your device you should always remember, "With great power, comes great responsibility".

If you had took a backup of the ROM before all these, restore that backup from TWRP else,
Flash the stock firmware by following this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2756609
I've no idea why you install CF-3D in the first place because the dev has clearly mentioned its supported till GB, and not further beyond even though its reported to work on ICS/JB devices. So you should've took some precautions before attempting these kind of risky operations.

Also remember that you can run 'adb logcat' when you boot up the phone. This will show any errors if you get stuck in a bootloop.

If you want to get everything from startup to crash, power of the device while it's plugged into to your USB port, run the command then power on. You should hopefully get a full boot up log and any fatal error messages.
Most common boot loop issue I tend to see is usually bad permissions after installing stuff. You can fix that in TWRP recovery tho.
Bit late tho sorry
I too did the same thing... Ie installed chainfire 3d on a Jb phone...luckily I knew how to flash stock ROM via ODIN ( it was a Samsung)
Anyway chainfire alternative on JB KK phones is GLtools
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.n0n3m4.gltools
Also do not forget to keep the zip file and flash it in case your phone does not boot up after installing! The zip file gets automatically copied to sdcard I think for later emergency flashing
