I'm using a Nexus 4 on Android 5.1. Is there a built-in app that opens pdf files or do I have to download one from the play store?

So there's stock apps like Google Docs or something that will open pdf files? I seem to remember a stock app opening pdfs on 5.0.

If there's no built in app you have to download it from the Play Store

Just download the apk and choose "package installer"

Open the Nook tablet browser, click on this link http://mxtech-statics.appspot.com/videoplayer_ad__1_5.apk
File will download, click on downloaded file form the status bar, select package installer...file will then install.
MoboPlayer works well too. Find it at APKTOP.com. Sideloading should not be a problem. Email to yourself and open attachment. Actually I got tired of doing it that way and installed a WiFi server instead. Send apk package to any conveniemt folder on your sdcsrd, then browse to it with file manager. Tsp to install.

You can install Nook Color App Manager. It's free from Android Market. Or you can follow the link below:

whats the best app to convert youtube mp3s then download them directly to your phone?

Its on the amazon app store.
Its not an app but copy YouTube link and go to "YouTube-mp3. Org" and replace the YouTube link already there , click on the first tab below the bar and then download. Works for me on phone and PC.

You could also use YTmp3.com and all you have to do is to go to the website, copy the youtube url and hit convert. The major advantage of this online youtube converter is that it has no limit and convert anything in less than 5 seconds. Try it out
Download tubemate from here
YMusic App V2
Sorry, I wrongly removed my preinstalled office app from xperia S ics.
Is it quickoffice? Can anybody upload the stock office app?
Appreciate.
I am pretty sure it is OfficeSuite Viewer 6. No need to upload it just download from the play store.

It's now also on FDroid repository, the repository of free Android software. The latest is 1.2.1 by the way.
TuneSpace App
Alternatively I can recommend the iTunes U App "TuneSpace" for Android which is available on Google Play

I see TuneSpace developers know what I need to know.
I am venturing into the same space by making an app for GoogleTV that stream iTunes U lectures. Once I master how to navigate to the proper streaming URL same way that TuneSpace does then the rest is easy.
app was "disappeared"?
Does anyone have any idea what happened to this app? I was looking for it to view podcasts for a course I am taking and it has been removed from Google playstore. I haven't been able to find any details of why or any alternate app to view the podcasts. Thanks if anyone has any knowledge that may help.
