For some reason, my HTC Thunderbolt has stopped automatically syncing my google calendar. I can manually sync it by going to calender -> menu -> refresh and it will sync. I can also sync it manually from settings -> accounts and sync, but nothing I have tried restores the automatic syncing.
Gmail (both contacts and mail) is automatically syncing -- its only the calendar that isn't (and the calendar IS the same google account as gmail).
I have noticed that on the accounts and sync screen for my google account that it shows the current date for sync contacts and sync gmail, but July 10 for Sync Calendar (see attached image). I've tried unchecking and rechecking that and sync now. It will always sync (and it does pick up new appointments), but it never changes that last sync time and it never goes back to automatically syncing.
I searched google for this issue but nothing I found directly addresses it -- all seem to be difficulty syncing at all (even manually).
I am running stock rooted MR2. See attached image for exact versions.
I am using ADW desktop so I have disabled HTC Sense.
How can I get the automatic sync working again?
in the system settings, all accounts show that sync is enabled. however, my universal inbox does not show emails or calendar from yahoo, gmail, and exchange(calendar). Is this happening to anyone else due to the rom being an alpha? or is there a fix I'm missing?
My Nexus 4 was working perfectly fine earlier today. No issues at all. Then all of a sudden, nothing Google related was syncing.
Google+ and Hangout notifications, Gmail, Calendar, Contacts - nothing is syncing to my phone. For example, if I add a calendar entry or new contact via the website, it wont sync to my phone unless I manually go into accounts, Google and force everything to sync. Same goes for if I add a contact to my phone, it wont sync back to Google.
Is anyone else have this issue at the moment? I can't imagine it being isolated to just my phone.
I even tried removing my Google account from the phone and adding it again but not even that fixed the issue.

So I have my HTC One working fine, but today I noticed something that sporadically I've been noticing very much: every time I enter the Account Settings, I notice that there is always a Sync Error on my Google account. I only have one Gmail account added on my phone and everything else (twitter, tango, WhatsApp...) seam to all sync just fine.
I've tried troubleshooting this in the past but no luck. Here's what I have enabled on my Gmail account Sync:
App Data, Calendar, Chrome, Contacts, Drive, Gmail, Google Currents, Google+, Google+ Auto Backup, People Details, Sound Search for Google Play and Tasks. All seam to be working just fine.
Any suggestions or ideas on how to clear this error?
Note: I have a virgin phone: no unlocks, no root, no 3rd party customization.

Did you ever get this fixed? I am having the same issue with Google Account showing a sync error all the time.

I have seen this on my HTC one after flashing a nandroid more that a few hours old.
Deleting the gmail account and re-adding it fixes it for me.
try removing your Google account and then reboot and readd it again.

On you PC go to: https://www.google.com/settings/dashboard
Under Account -> Connected applications and sites
Delete all HTC ones by clicking the revoke button on the right side.
Remove your account under sync under your phones settings.
REBOOT
Re add your google account
DONE
I use multiple Google Accounts on my phone, which up until now has not been an issue. I currently am on an unmodded S5 and having nothing but problems. One of my accounts is actually my fiances where it is synced for Google Keep only. We use it to sync daily notes, to-do lists, etc. This used to work without issue.
My phone however now is attempting to force me to sync to other items. It without prompting has been selecting to sync Google+ along with Google Photos.
Also whenever anything is done with photos (gallery opened, camera, etc) it shows all my other Google Accounts. They are only syncing email outside of my main account. These are all showing the account requesting permission to access the photos.
Has anyone ever had these issues before? Any remedy? I have attempted to remove the accounts and re-sync them with the correct permissions. The issues continue to occur.
