About Us:
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean. In the early days -- it was just a one man show on one device, the EVO 3D. Since then, many others have joined the project and it has grown exponentially.
We have seen a lot of talent contribute to this project of ours. Big or small, the focus was always on contributing to the community. That is ultimately why we do what we do. After Jelly Bean, we decided to move to a new base, OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting base because it challenged us to see what we could do with a project that had different goals in mind. We learned a lot and gained contributors in the process. With Lollipop, we moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. We grew further with experience and learned a lot more along the way.
It has been an awesome learning experience and it's still not over! We are still learning, striving to grow each day, and continuing to move forward. Lastly, we DO NOT accept, nor ask, for donations. We do not believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going comes out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc. We will never ask for a dime. All that we do ask is that you have patience, search for answers prior to posting, read, and try to enjoy the process with us!!

Okay. Yeah, it's fairly typical for the date to be off. Given that this is the first official DU 4.4.2 rom for Flo it's probably safe to say it's the right link. However, you can always double check this by exploring the dl site a bit.

Announcement(s):
1) This is a straight up port, no added features or apps. It's as @westcrip built it.
2) This port comes packaged with RenderBroken's TWRP 3/22 CM kernel - be warned, it WILL install TWRP as your new recovery. If you want a CWM recovery, you can flash that independently; just know that I haven't tested it with the CWM version (although it should be fine).
3) If you encounter any problems please post in this thread, NOT the i9100 one. You will get no support over there because this is a port.
4) I will update this whenever westcrip updates the i9100 version, and time allows me.
5) Do not use the ROM updater under Resurrection Tools > RR Updates: it is NOT for the i777.

Just tested it, it works for me. Recorded 5 seconds of my face, so forgive me for not posting that as proof!

Oh yes, and that's putting it mildly. Customizing will keep you busy for a long time. I've been on it for three days and I'm still tinkering!

Sounds like fun! I had a wreck last week and I'm going to be laid up for at least next week with some fractures and deep contusions.

seems to work fine on cwm 6.0.4.5 recovery had a google stop error right after install but seems fine.

I did this with slimkat (twrp based) and it did fine at first. Then it froze up and i couldn't boot into recovery. That's when i had to Odin back to stock here a while back and start over. Once i got it fixed i installed twrp recovery and everything was fine.

So far so good. I'm in a lot of pain and my knee was mangled up. It's in an immobilizer and I'm on heavy medication but they say i won't need surgery or anything. My chest and ribs are what's really killing me but i digress.... I'm excited to try this out. I'm curious, do you like this better than slimkat?

It's different than Slim, in that it's bigger and has more customizations, but I've found it to be just as stable. I ran RR for a very long time back in the early ICS days, and it was a beast. I'm finding this one to be the same.

About Us:
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean. In the early days it was just a one man show on one device, the EVO 3D. Since then, many others have joined the project and it has grown exponentially.
We have seen a lot of talent contribute to this project of ours. Big or small, the focus was always on contributing to the community. That is ultimately why we do what we do. After Jelly Bean, we decided to move to a new base, OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting base because it challenged us to see what we could do with a project that had different goals in mind. We learned a lot and again, gain contributors. With Lollipop, we moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. We grew even more and learned a whole lot more.
It has been an awesome learning experience and is still not over! We are still learning every day and continue to move forward. Lastly, we DO NOT accept, nor ask, for donations. We don't believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going is out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc. We will never ask for a dime. Sorry, I read the OP but skimmed over where it said that you used caf for older devices. Bugs such as cast screen not working, okay google everywhere not working, and I think netflix and google play movies didn't work on other roms either.

Is there any way to give root access to app ops? Trying to go into GPS and it says "Cannot change operations for system app". I've already granted root to Settings in SuperSu, not being prompted for anything else and nothing in SuperSu is denied.

AH OK, app ops from the Play Store it is. Just didn't want it to conflict with built in app ops if that did have the ability to make changes at root level, appreciate the quick reply.

About Us:
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean. In the early days -- it was just a one man show on one device, the EVO 3D. Since then, many others have joined the project and it has grown exponentially.
We have seen a lot of talent contribute to this project of ours. Big or small, the focus was always on contributing to the community. That is ultimately why we do what we do. After Jelly Bean, we decided to move to a new base, OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting base because it challenged us to see what we could do with a project that had different goals in mind. We learned a lot and gained contributors in the process. With Lollipop, we moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. We grew further with experience and learned a lot more along the way.
It has been an awesome learning experience and it's still not over! We are still learning, striving to grow each day, and continuing to move forward. Lastly, we DO NOT accept, nor ask, for donations. We do not believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going comes out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc. We will never ask for a dime. Was wondering why there was no thread on XDA. I snagged a test build from the site a few days back to test multirom.

About Us:
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean. In the early days -- it was just a one man show on one device, the EVO 3D. Since then, many others have joined the project and it has grown exponentially.
We have seen a lot of talent contribute to this project of ours. Big or small, the focus was always on contributing to the community. That is ultimately why we do what we do. After Jelly Bean, we decided to move to a new base, OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting base because it challenged us to see what we could do with a project that had different goals in mind. We learned a lot and gained contributors in the process. With Lollipop, we moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. We grew further with experience and learned a lot more along the way.
It has been an awesome learning experience and it's still not over! We are still learning, striving to grow each day, and continuing to move forward. Lastly, we DO NOT accept, nor ask, for donations. We do not believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going comes out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc. We will never ask for a dime. All that we do ask is that you have patience, search for answers prior to posting, read, and try to enjoy the process with us!!

Make sure you remove your 'overlay' folders and perform a FULL WIPE

I'm getting a FC from the theme chooser, what gives?
This is due to restoring data/apps from Google. Go ahead and clear data and cache for theme chooser and theme provider then reboot you should be good moving forward.
I changed my LCD density and now the navbar looks weird, what gives?
This is currently an issue that we are aware of and are addressing. For now, after you've changed the density -- reset navbar layout or stay on the stock density.

Hey, at least this one is booting, not like unofficial CMs or AOSP that would get stuck at bootanimation for whatever reason...
However, some borked Gapps are included with the ROM, I had to rm -rf /system/priv-app/Google* and reinstall OpenGapps to have a non-crashing setupwizard. Time will tell how the rest goes

Used Banks GAPPS and the setup wizard and UI crash is solved. Very nice ROM. Thanks for your effort!
I Dont Know If its Bug or what. But I cant connect my G pad into my Bluetooth headset using this rom it say that its pin is incorrect. but in stock rom its working. My bluetooth headset is Remax RB-S2

Hi, I have issues with this ROM :
- the Wifi connexion resets every now and then and I have to put the password again each time, also the 5 GHz setting doesn't work because I'm still able to see 2.4 GHz networks
- the tablet sometimes locks without reason (especially when watching videos), and it takes me several attempts before I successfully manage to unlock it again
- many apps crash randomly but I don't see any pattern so far...

Early reports are that latest unofficial CM13 fixed these issues. Any chance you can merge the fixes?

Does it include device specific changes ?
v10.4 is a good ROM. thank you ^^
1. twrp restore failed (waited for about an hour)
2. after a reboot, it got stuck at boot screen and had to reinstall all over again - clear cache and such didn't work - --- -
update: again, stuck at boot screen. both times, i used a custom theme from pstore.
i'll keep testing and return with more info.
Status option does not work in about tablet
Made clean install of the latest build on my device.
Working like a charm.
Did not faced (at least meanwhile) any of the problems reported in prev. posts.
