hello
my camera's flashlight is not functioning properly. whenever the flashlight goes off it stays ON until next reboot. this problem did not occur in kitkat 4.4.2
is there a camera mod out there that could handle toggling flashlight without issues.
i use lollipop and my phone is rooted.
any input would be nice

In the speedrom theres a flashlight tweak that we can use in back ground but since I have an other phone I didnt find an app or tweak like that. All the app on the market makes the led go off when we exit the app. I need this tweak because the camera on my new phone (Atrix HD) is very poor but when the light is open its okay.
have you tried? tiny flash light its a free flashlight app that runs in the background, since that seems to be your issue...

since your camera needs the led for taking pictures.. you obviously cant use the camera while another application is using the led.. just close the flashlight and open the camera.. besides your camera should have auto or flash features.. so there's no need to have the flashlight on while taking pictures
but in speedrom i can use the camera when the flashlight is on (status bar tweak) and yes my new phones do bad picture whit is flash it's need to be full of light because it's not doing a good focus tho
i'm not sure about that.. but on my phone if the led is on... i cannot access the camera... maybe because the sense camera is different from the aosp camera... that could be the issue...but its not a big deal.. like i said before.. most people don't use the led while having the camera on.. xD
Hi there, Im looking for mod for auto callrecord for my note 3, I've tried to flash mods like "MythtrandyrAutoCallRecord_for_XXUCMK2.zip" and also "SecPhone_auto_call_record_for_N900_4.4.2.zip" both working on 4.4.2 kitkat but non of them start auto call recording by itself I've to click record button which is annoying for me. any ideas!!
I've rooted custom rom based on 4.4.2 if there's a mod to auto callrecord (starts recording by itself) and also hide recording notifications that appears on the screen I would be thankful

I've flashed latest build 20140719 PAC-man 4.4.4, Conference call and Camera won't work. Does it work fine?

** Using Cymera instead of original camera app. It seem like work well with timer mode and without using auto focus (do not touch screen for auto focus), Event though the screen is black.

same thing with app like maps. it's a known issue, we have to wait for an official update to fix it (as of oneplus forum)
The camera module's pooched (started failing in 5.1 with not being able to focus on near objects, now it won't run at all). Weird shenanigans in 5.1 as opposed to the stock 4.3 that it came from. In 4.3, I can run Flashlight, but Gallery crashes when Camera is run. Front camera works intermittent - rear camera not at all. In 5.1, I cannot run either the camera app or Flashlight (quick access menu) and if Flashlight is pressed, the LED will shine for 5 seconds, turn off, and the Flashlight icon will stay half-lit until the phone is soft-reset. 5.1 gives the notification "cannot start the camera - make sure 3rd party apps (such as Flashlight) aren't running" (with everything disabled).
The only constant is that the rear camera will not function in either Android environment.
It's still under warranty with Wind, do I even need to worry about the unlocked bootloader or no? Either of these were stock Android with no root.

Above thread give accurate steps that looks good. But as some post from same thread point out, when you request unlock code from huawei, they already recorded your phone in their database.
When you unlocked it, you trashed your warranty.
