Some of Sony Lollipop firmwares have close all button in recent panel and some don´t. This is fix to this. It is Sony stock version and taken from firmware where you can find it. Just flash it via custom recovery or unzip it, put in correct folder and chance permission to 644 and reboot. Tested with SGP511 but should work also with any other.

Your are welcome. With file explorer with root acces go to "root/system/vendor/overlay" and delete file "com.android.systemui-res-305.apk". Reboot and you are done.

I sent a pm to explain.
Oddly enough when running this, from time to time it will revert back to the stock battery, then back to the modded one.
When I tried skyfir123 versions in his thread it doesn't do that.
Can you fix that? Cause I much prefer the R version you have to anything else.

2.Flash the recovery-nozomi.img with next comand: fastboot flash boot recovery-nozomi.img
3.Enter in recovery(push volume down) and instal superuser-3.0.7-efgi-signed.
4.Turn off phone.
5.flash the kernel.sin with next comand:fastboot flash boot kernel.sin

Hmm, well I did follow the step by step rooting myself (before the pre rooted img was up)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=27692994&postcount=1
Everything else was fine. I suppose I could try the pre-rooted version w/o a wipe and see if it improves anything.
Does the same for me too
Hello guys. In some custom roms My Files option removed. If anyone want to get back this stock My Files then how I can get back, even with ported My File with cwm or in other way....?
I suppose you would be able to extract it yourself by installing a stock ROM and then copying the APK from /system/app (using some root capable file manager).
At least if nobody else has an easier solution for you.
Good luck!

up plz
I may have edited something wrong in build.prop and now my phone won't load after the SONY logo. I would push a stock build.prop if I had CWM but apparently I lost that after following steps to root JB with locked bootloader. All I have now is fastboot and flash mode.
Is there any way to push a file and set permissions using one of these modes? I can reflash ICS and do everything all over again but if I could just push a stock build.prop I think I can avoid the long way.
PS. Can I also get help putting CWM on this phone? I wanna keep bootlock 'coz I'm a purist like that. Lol! :silly:
do any of these modes support mounting \system and \data ??

No, but fastboot can flash an update.zip according to a wiki. I don't think that's the same as a regular flashable zip is it?
Bump 'coz it's really getting tiring to reflash from zero when just one file needs editing.

I ended up with reflashing only SYSTEM partition via Flashtool (don't forget to uncheck "Wipe DATA"). You are going to loose any modification of "/system" (e.g. root) but at least you won't loose your settings, apps and data.
I deleted the settings and i cant install this. Please help me

setting.apk is part of system, you can't delete it(except you rooted), and you can't install it like other normal apk.
i suggest you to back to your stock rom, and delete anything if you don't know what's the function.
Quick workaround, look for adb (android debug bridge) on google.
Basically, you need to extract the settings.apk from another rom/firmware of the same version as yours and use adb shell to push it to system/app adress with rw-r-r permissions. (Alternatively, use a root explorer to put it there).
The other solution is to flash a stock firmware with the corresponding flash tool.
Good luck

Dunno if it's possible to directly flash it by TWRP, but I'd suggest you to try this before flashing; take a nandroid backup, first of all. Now, using a root explorer, browse to /version/special_cust/BLN-L21/hw/eu/media (that's the path where i took bootanimation from, obviously if you're on another build variant you could find different model codes like BLL-L22, ecc. or just different paths) and move the zip into the media folder. Reboot and check if it works. If not, flash it by TWRP.
Edit - remember to change permissions to rw-r-r if moved to the folder with a file manager
