Hi, I'm running Jasmine 7.0 and I have noticed that when my phone us fully charged, I get a slow green blinking led. Is there anyway to disable this light without disabling other led notifications? I charge it overnight on a wireless charger snd have different color leds set for family members who might leave messages, so I don't want to completely disable the led at night, just the fully charged led. Thanks in advance for your help.

well like the title says, It started when my phone was connected to my pc and i was using my phone's internet sharing and then i got a text, i started to have a little conversation with my friends then thats when it started. My phone was charging and it was at 100% but pc does not give the same amount of charging % like the charger itself, so it went down to 95% then when it reached 100% again both notification lights were blinking like if it was on low battery and you have text.... well you can ignore the story i put but the question is ......
is it normal for both notification lights to blink (both orange and green, not at the same time but 2 at a time, exp = 2 green then 2 orange.) when my phone is connected to my pc and its at 100%?

this really is one of those "first world problems", but it is bothering me indeed..
I noticed that the "charging" led only comes on when the phone is plugged in but turned off.
I'd like for it to always be on while charging, whether turned on or off, and ideally for it to change color once charge has reached 100%.
Tried Light Flow, but doesn't seem to work.. any ideas?
I'm using lightflow and its working fine for me. It flashes orange while charging and green when it reaches 100%. It only flashes phone screen is locked though.
My charging LED does not come on at all when plugged in.....
For the record, when mine is powered off and plugged in I get the Battery display with a cool liquid filled battery as well as a notification light.
its a motorola thing. When ur device is on and charging the led light won't be on. Its the same on the xoom. Unless until some dev makes a custom kernel
Hi, newbie here. Please pardon me if my english is a bit broken.
Well, when I receive a notification (for example, message from Facebook/Messenger), the notification led only blinks when my phone is charging.
I've read that the white led was not supposed to act that way, in fact, officially it's supposed to light-on (not blinking) as an indicator of charging or near-death battery.
I've tried some apps here and there but most of them only give a continuous light when charging, whatsoever it's intended for. Also found an app called Light Flow that was a bit closer to my needs, but didn't work at all. I don't know why but I think that's because the app is supposed to work on another type of phone, with RGB leds. I tried it for about two hours testing and did change nothing .
My last phone before the Moto E was a Motorola Razr D1, very similar to the Moto E, and that phone also had a white led. But in that phone the led only blinked for notifications, regardless of being charged or not, and also did not bring a continuous light when in charge. I want to replicate this feature if possible.
Is there a way to make my led blink for notifications regardless of being charged?
And, if the last is possible, does involve the continuous light? I hope not, I really hate that thing and find it pointless. Just want the notifications.

Which ROM are you on?
In stock (or by default) notification LED in moto e blinks when there's a notification regardless of the state of charging.
There's no "Light On" criteria either (unless you're using custom rom/mod/app).
I completely forgot, sorry.
I'm using Cyanogenmod 12, never used the stock rom. My dad gave it to me and I inmediately flashed.

is there a way to completely turn of the led when charging the phone? Its quite bright and annoying at night ...

Try Lightflow. I believe it's capable of turning the LED off during charging.
Gravity box has this feature as well.
The title says it all really. Been running RR for a couple of weeks but last night my LED was blinking blue but there was no notification, it was unplugged and 73% charged at the time. I played about in the LED settings and it stopped when I changed the low charge LED colour from blue to red. Any ideas why it did it?
