SlickWraps - Galaxy Note 3 Accessories

Anyone heard of these guys? I seen an advertisement for them on this website and i decided to check it out.
Its just like a screen protector but for the whole phone (just like the ghost armor-but one third the price). Its like 6 bucks or so per phone. I ordered on for my note 3 (white carbon fiber). i put it on last night , which was pretty easy to place.
It fit perfectly.
So if you're looking for something silimar check them out .

They onky negative thing i could say is not all packages include a screen protector with the pack. But i have still never used one on my note 3 so that wasnt an issue with me.

I have used and still use SlickWraps. They are a company that aims to enhance the LOOK of the phone while giving it a bit of protection if you are using your phone without a case. It isn't in any shape or form a complete way of protecting the phone. The use vinyl to just change the aesthetics/feels of your device. It's a good product for the price. Original price for the wraps are about $20. I'd encourage anyone to take advantage of the sale and try it for themselves. I've bought 5 different wraps, myself.

I used one of this company's body protectors on my Duo, the thing was amazing. I know the description is kinda lame, but the protection kicks ass. Was hard to put on the curved parts of my phone's body (like all of these protectors are), but the screen protector is as easy to apply as any I've seen, and once you get it all on, it stays.

Ebay link for screen protector only
Note: This isn't my auction, I was just browsing and saw that they had these available already.
Let me know how it fits your G1. I'm interested to know how they did it with the phone not out yet. Even the Invisible Shield guys (the "pioneers" of this kind of protector) are delaying til someone volunteers them a G1 for measurement after the release date.

What he said.... plus will the keyboard still slide? can we get to the reset button (if there is one)? does it come off easy or will it be a 2 hr process if we want to pull the SIM card?
Most of these full-body protectors come in several pieces that cover the whole phone, but still allow slides, buttons, etc. to work just fine.
My problem (and the reason I'm going with the invisible shield at zagg.com) is that some of these companies don't really cover the whole phone or even bother with the corners. Invisible shield covers everything.
And they're good for one use (but rock solid). They can be removed, but not generally repositioned since after they dry the first time, removing them stretches them out of shape.

That's how this one was for my Duo, and as for covering the whole phone it did that well. As for trying it on my G1, I don't have a G1 so that'd be quite difficult.

I know, man. That's one reason I trust the zagg people more...because they're actually waiting til the phone is released so they can get measurements. The get a lucky(?) volunteer to ship the phone to them and they custom-make the shield, install it, and ship it back, all for free. Then they have the measurements and can sell them to everybody. I'm a little wary of guys who claim to have a TBS before the phone is out.
I looked at "clear coat" I think. Some of their iPhone/touch/wtf ever protectors didn't even make it to the corners of the device. But the Invisible Shield brand covered everything but the ports. That's kinda what I'm looking at...but I'd be more than willing to pay less for something identical.

Haha, that always pissed me off that they made a customer send theirs in. Really, buy the ****ing phone and return it a day later, it's not hard. As for the G1, they're not hard to get... There are probably 10 on eBay that aren't pre-release, it's just that people don't bother to look.
Yeah, it's the slower process, but it's a guarantee that the shield will be 100% right for the phone. We are talking total-body protector, rather than just screen protector.
And if phones are being gouged on ebay for $600-1000 when there's just a little more than a week before anybody and his brother can get one, I can understand the wait. They sell shields; they're not in the phone-buying business. They've got a decent business model, even if it doesn't suit the impatient.
Edit: Someone on the tmonews forums got the "clear protector" brand from an ebay vendor. It comes in two pieces and doesn't cover the sides or corners.
i ordered one at e-bay and already have it home. im courios how its gonna fit a screen. but best thing is i spend only 0.01$ with free shippingfor it

Interesting...
They must've gotten their volunteer. I know a guy on tmonews was actively courting them for his free shield.
For those looking to pre-order an invisible shield, here's a 20% off coupon code: "xxxxxx" (Code no longer works)
They're selling for just under $20 and this code gives almost a $4 discount.

yeah I ordered mine already... I talked to them on the phone and they told me that if someone was willing to pay for shipping the phone both ways they would probably make them a shield for free and install it so that they can get the measurements early... so if you have a phone and want a shield call them and see what you can work out...
wow, that looks pretty cool. Next paycheck i'm going to order one of those for my G1, my psp slim, and maybe for my Zen.
zagg.com emailed me and said that my shield was mailed... I am impressed... that was really fast.
BodyGuardz vs. IS
interested in what you all think of Invisible shield vs boadyguardz? i keep reading that IS gives more of an orangepeel effect whatever that means lol.
anyone tried them out fo real and not just looked at them?
It's been reported that the Invisible Shield guys (zagg.com) are giving a 40% discount on Halloween day if you order with the discount code "scary40".

I ordered the Bodygaurdz after reading a review of the two
the orangepeel effect is supposed to be seen as a negative thing making the screen harder to see, like a type of haze. The bodygaurdz is supposed to be tougher than the IS and shouldn't tear/scratch as easy. Also reviewed as more invisible/transparent too. I should receive it in a couple days and will post some photos before and after and let you know my real thoughts about it.
I like that you get 2 full body protectors for $24 and the shipping was free from bodygaurdz direct website.
Jcostanza4
my shield got here last night and I put it on and it looks really nice... I wish the front part had been one piece but I guess it works the way it is. With it on the screen actually feels more responsive and easier esp when scrolling.
There is a place by my house that sells IS and puts it on for you. The owner stopped by my store and gave me a card to get one for free. So I hit them up today and got it put on. So far its not bad but there are some rough edges. They told me it would smooth out in a few days after its "Cured". They also said not to put it in your pocket for 2 days. I will report back in a few days to see how it goes.
Where do you live? I am thinking of taking my off because I messed up and having someone else do it for me. Sadly while I was doing it the door bell rang and I had to answer it... well needless to say I had to reapply the screen piece again and now it is kinda funky... Other than that it is good I am just hoping the screen cures.

Great looking case, and 31% discount from Fortte

Hi all:
I finally found a great looking case http://www.fortte.com/scr/showproduct.php/1111?type=0 . It is made by Fortte. Unfortunately I can't afford it (wish I could ), but I thought I'd pass it on to you guys in case someone is looking. I also received a coupon code for 31% off on any order. Code is Spooktacular, and is valid til 11/9.
PS: This case is VERY cool also http://www.fortte.com/scr/details-1130/HTC Touch Pro 2.html
They also have the standard vertical and horizontal cases.
great looking case
It's too bad, I just ordered the Maya II last night. I would have gotten this one instead.
Yeah, I thought it looked very cool. I have been searching for a nice case since before I even got my Tilt 2. Sadly I lost my job last week, so I won't be buying this case; as it is I probably shouldn't have splurged on the Tilt 2, but I got a very good deal and had been wanting it for so long I couldn't help myself.
Not bad, I do agree that it is a bit pricey.
I bought the clear plastic case from the a&t store but returned it the following day because the built in screen protector would stick to the screen when using showing a horrible "puddling" effect. Hopefully some more cases at least variety of them, are in the works. I am a bit timid only having the oem screen protector on my phone atm.

Skinomi Screen Protector for 95 cents

I just got a Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and I've had good luck with Skinomi skins on other devices so I went shopping. I was about to buy off their site when I found them on sale at Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/Skinomi-TechSkin-Protector-Lifetime-Warranty/dp/B007US84S0/
At 95 cents I thought it was a typo and they'd cancel the order. It came in the mail Saturday. Full kit with the tube, the solution, the cloth, and the little rubber wedge. It has the holes for the camera and the light sensor. I have not put it on yet, but it looks like all the other Skinomi skins I've put in.
If you haven't used these they are GREAT (and I don't work for Skinomi). These are the kind you put on wet. You can't use your device for a day or so after you put it on and it will look TERRIBLE at first. But after all the water dries out it is totally invisible unless you find an edge. If you get a little ding in it, the ding will heal itself over time unless the ding is white. If you have a white ding, they will send you another one and you have to return the one you take off. As long as you return them (after you get the new one) they will do this indefinitely (lifetime warranty). I've had one on my phone and gTablet for 2 years and never had to use the warranty.
No idea how they can be on sale for this price, but thought someone might be interested.
Sounds like a nice screen protector. Never had a nice one like that so I've always disliked them. Maybe that one would change my mind.
I want to order one of the carbon fiber skinimi kits that comes with everything. That's going to rock.
Im guessing it was a typo, I just checked and they are $15.95.
Although I think I'd still buy it at that price - it sounds good :fingers-crossed:

Well, I picked up 2 at that price on the theory that it was cheaper than getting a 2nd kit under warranty! I don't know if it was a sale or a mistake but they did honor the price.

Flip/folio/wallet case that's easily removeable?

Got an N6 on the way, looking for a flip case that can easily be removed. I'd like to be able to clip the phone into the case when I'm out and about, but remove it when I'm at home or at the office. Anyone have a case like this? I've done some looking but it seems like most of them are TPU cases attached to the flip cover. For my other phone I found one that clipped around the edges in only a couple of spots. I'm hoping to find something similar or at least one that can stand up to the abuse of many in/out cycles.
Might give this one a shot. It's a bit bigger than some other cases but it feels pretty nice. I will warn you though, while not a huge issue, the edges on the flip cover started to look a little frayed after a few weeks. Probably just wear and tear though.

Do you experience any of the button issues that the amazon reviewers had?
http://www.amazon.com/Case-Mate-Google-Nexus-Stand-Folio/dp/B00PIOTZ04
Not particularly, no. I will say they are not the best though. Theres a little bit of play to them. If you can get it cheaper than the 30-some odd dollars they charge, I'd go for it. Personally I usually carry my nexus 6 w/o a case just due to how nice it feels, although if you find a thinner, rubberized flip case let me know.
All in all, I'd give the casemate a shot. Does the job just fine.
I know you might have your reasons for wanting a flip case, but because I wanted to do the same as you (protection when out and about but naked when at home) I went with a really nice larger pouch case instead.

Thanks for the help guys. I considered the case-mate, especially since it was originally sold on Google play so it's close to "official"/oem but the multitude of bad reviews scared me off. I like the pouch idea too but I like to have some protection when I'm using the phone on the go since that's the most likely time I'd drop it. I only remove the case when I'm home or at the office since I'll be at the table/couch/desk there's less risk of dropping it and I prefer using the phone naked as much as possible.
I ended up finding one of these in eBay for 25 and it seems to work well, although it isn't as easy to remove as the flip case for my last phone. I haven't used the card slots yet as I'm a little concerned they could scratch the screen and I don't want to use a screen protector.

I've been using this inexpensive but very form-fitting case since I bought the n6. Easy to slip it out of the case, and I've used nillkin book-type cases for multiple phones. They usually last the life the phone (for me, that's about 2 years)

This is the one I use, and definitely have enjoyed it. I haven't had any problem with cards scratching the screen yet.
If you're still looking for a wallet themed case, you can try out this one by VENA, I have had it for 2 months and it's been great.
http://www.amazon.com/Google-Nexus-...8&qid=1449112949&sr=1-4&keywords=vena+nexus+6
I like my phones naked or as close as it comes (ultra thin transparent tpu case), but I also like to have something to put it in when out and about. My Nexus 5 was kept in a Mofi Kangaroo pouch case which was great. Unfortunately, they seemed to have stopped making them and only ever made them just about big enough for the N5. There are similar alternatives but none seem as good as the Mofi.
So, finding a removable pouch type case big enough for this beast is a challenge! I ordered a hand made fabric one from etsy which is well made, but at the size of the device, looks more like a small sleeping bag than the home of a sleek Nexus device .
So I took a bit of a gamble and ordered something not designed for the Nexus 6. Its primary advertising is for the Iphone 6+, but also states is suitable for Note 4. Looking at both devices dimensions, I concluded it was almost big enough. The Nexus being little longer, thicker and wider than both devices, but not much.
It seems to have paid off. Its a very nice luxurious pouch wallet case in genuine brown leather from what I gather is a brand owned by tuffluv. You can't tell from the site, but the phone pouch part on the side, top and bottom is elasticated so happily accommodates the Nexus's superior girth!
I can even squeeze it in with tpu case - just, but its a bit tough to pull out. Might have to seek an ultra thin tpu case - any recommendations? Without the TPU, its next to perfect! Fully loaded with cards in the card slots makes it slightly tighter to close fully, but still very acceptable in my book.
Currently its in the sale on Tuffluv site where its claimed to be a £50 case (and going by the other similar cases going for in excess of £50, I believe them!). With the sale price and discount it came to £17.99 delivered.
Just thought I'd share in case anyone else was looking for something similar but hadn't found anything labelled as suitable for the Nexus 6.
Can't paste a link but go to tuff-luv dot coms site and search for "Alston Craig Vintage Genuine Leather Wallet Case Cover Pouch for Apple iPhone 6 Plus / 6s Plus / Samsung Galaxy Note 4 - Brown"
Alston Craig have their own site, but there is a discount code for a couple of quid off on tuff-luv
Hope this helps someone.
Oh, ps, there is a small slip of paper in the packaging that states you should have a screen protector fitted to protect the screen before use. Its material lined; not the soft microfibre type, but not something I would be concerned about.
pps. Only issue I've found is the elastic straps are centred, so covers headphone and usb port. Shame, not a deal breaker for me.

Case with magnetic ring built in

I purchased a oneplus 6t a few weeks ago and am now looking for a case with a built in magnetic ring. I have a magnetic mount that I really like using and after my last flight I decided I really want something that can prop my phone up. Funny how little things made me change my mind about the screen size and having a kickstand of sorts. Anyways, I've been looking on Amazon and all the cases I see look like clones of each other and the ones that people review on mention how it is flimsy, provides poor protection and the ring breaks after 4 days. Also the text, auto focus and ultimate experience really turn me off on getting the case.
Currently I'm using the case that came with the phone and I put a ailun magnetic keyring in the back but the bump is starting to annoying me when I place the phone down. Any suggestions?

Yes, I also ordered that same one from Nillkin through Giztop last week or so .along with their H+Pro screen protector. Hopefully, it will be worth the wait if it ever gets here that is.I will be sure to post my opinions once I get it.
Hope you guys aren't disappointed when you get them. I was looking at possibly getting them, but noticed the case is for the OP6, not 6T. And if you look at the title/description, it says 6, and later 6T, very inconsistently.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Nillkin-Sy...sh=item260afcf8ca:g:io8AAOSw5wFb-KiG&LH_BIN=1
I ordered my case from ebay, has not arrived yet but the seller is trusted. I have purchased all my cases from the same buyer, takes 2 weeks to get in Finland. And this one is for the 6T, not the 6.
The same casemodel for LG G6 was total rubbish, very flimsy and cheap. But if the pictures are right, this one is totally different. I guess it depend from the shape and size of the phone.
Ok, I've had it on for a couple days now. I actually like it. I can see how it may not provide much protection to glass as the edges are pretty even with the glass. I used to have Loopy case and this is pretty similar. The ring on the back appears to be taped on with 3m tape, but pretty sturdy nonetheless. Works on my magnetic mounts as well. For the price, I say it was worth it for now. The oem case went over the glass too much making the edge difficult to access. Gonna stick with this case.
