Yes, for some reason it does if you use CM11 / Kitkat, I was surprised when I installed it
I have an another phone, the Galaxy Pocket Plus, it's running ICS 4.0 and you can't install the materinova update on it
Galaxy Pocket Plus: 850mhz ARMV7, 512mb RAM
Galaxy Y: 830mhz ARMV6, 256mb RAM
Doesn't make any sense

Thanks for your information ?
I will try your guide later

No you can't, Clash of Clans requires an ARMV7 processor to work (Sgy has ARMV6), installing CM11 won't change that
For some reason Nova Launcher doesn't depend on the processor or specs, only on the operating system
I tried to apply the wallpaper from the S6 theme app but it showed as black on the Nova Launcher so I just downloaded some from the internet and applied through Gallery and it worked

This is so cuute

As said earlier, it still in beta version and not available on the market. The original thread is - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1636393 and the dev is " mobint "
Thanks for the share!
Tried it. seems to work moderately well. a little bit jumpy and hangs on app drawer a while when you close it but apart from that it works good. tested on froyo and gb, works a little better on froyo I found.
good job to the devs! keep it up
Beta 3 uploaded.......Fixes Animation lags.....& For other changes see Post 1
Does it look pixelated on G3?
Update :Beta 5 now.......

anybody tested this on G3? Is it worth installing?
I tested this launcher on my G3
But the latest version a little laggy on CM7.
The strange thing is that probably the version beta 4 works even smoothly.

[NO ROOT][GUIDE] Lollipop home screen for 2.3 Gingerbread

Update: Changed Lollipop screenshot, updated status bar layout and background
Hello, I have created a home screen that looks like Android 5.0 for Android 2.3 Gingerbread using only Google Play applications that don't require root
Applications I used:
Next Launcher 3D Shell Lite, this is pretty much the only launcher for 2.3 that is customizable and supports icon packs, the lite version works in this case https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gtp.nextlauncher.trial&hl=en
Super Status Bar (This is available on Google Play too but the version there doesn't work on the Galaxy Y), the "iLlusory background" feature in this app makes your status bar transparent without root, it's like magic, it also replaces your notification center with a more modern looking one
http://gallery.mobile9.com/f/3008525
LolliPop Theme, only Lollipop theme that's available for 2.3
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.szp.akai&hl=en
Digital Clock Widget Xperia, the clock font makes the home screen look much more modern and refreshed
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sonyericsson.digitalclockwidget2&hl=en
For wallpaper I took a screenshot of a live wallpaper on my other device running ICS (the live wallpaper doesn't support Gingerbread): http://oi60.tinypic.com/2saxyf4.jpg
Guide
1. Install Next Launcher 3D Shell, I made this guide using the full version but lite will work too, all download links are above
2. Install Super Status Bar
3. Install LolliPop Theme
4. Install Digital Clock Widget Xperia widget
5. Download the wallpaper
6. Apply Lollipop theme, press the options button (left of home button) in the Next Launcher home screen and select "Theme", from there go to "Installed" and click "Apply" over "LolliPop Colored"
7. Enable Super Status Bar, go to "General" while in the app and enable "iLlusory background"
8. Change Super Status Bar theme to Honeycomb, go to "Themes" in the app and apply "Honeycomb"
9. Change your background to the one linked in this thread, download it to your phone, press the options button in the Next Launcher home screen and select "Wallpaper", swipe to the next page in the options that pop up and you will see "Gallery". Click on it and find the background you downloaded, make sure the option on the left is Potrait and drag the glowing rectangle so it fills the whole screen and press Crop. After this and going to the home screen you should see no difference in background where the status bar starts / transparent status bar illusion
10. Arrange your home screen how you want, place the widget in the top and icons below

Update: Added guide

just a clean, minimalistic homescreen.
Nova launcher Prime
Flight clock widget (included in the Flight icon pack)
Flight icon pack
Wallpaper from Zedge - "Galaxy"
no theme
Screen set to 560dpi
Not sure anyone cares about mine, it's a mix-up of Doctor Who and X-Files. The blurry-ish "app drawer" button looks better on my black and red X-Files wallpaper.
Nothing fancy at all and may set a few sci-fi people, with OCD, into a fit
Launcher - Nova Prime
Widget - Chronus Flex
Font - ChinaCat thin (requires ROOT)
Nice and simple. Everything is gesture based.

I have a new one now, fell in love with it. Its a little different version of my last one:
Nova Launcher Prime
Icon Set: "Min"
Live Wallpaper: Galaxy Pack (maxelus.net) - Its a beautiful, rotating galaxy with a bright centre and parallax effect when you move the phone.
Widget: "HD Widgets"
:good::good::good:
Nova
Chronus
From Stock Launcher (had to switch to it, set wallpaper, switch back to nova)
Retro Icon Pack
Launcher: Nova Prime
That big agenda widget: Today Calendar Widget Pro
Podcast widget: Podcast Addict Pro
Icon: Min (just switched when I saw other users' posts!)
I like to keep just one home screen and 3 pages in the app dock for a total of 14 apps (5 on the left + 4 in the middle and the app drawer button + 5 on the right).
