I recently brought one of these and so far my experience with it is a little disappointing
Is their anyway, I can root/flash a custom rom to hopefully get a little more out of it, I have searched the forum, But I have been unable to find anything that helps me.

Hi Guys, I have been reading the forums trying to get the device to go into recovery mode. I have read that Bell customers are having problems getting it to do this. I have not been able to do the home+power+vol- sequence. Should I try to exchange it for another unit. Or is there another way to achieve this? I apologize if this has been discussed and I have not stumbled across it.

I just got a G-Tablet and I want to make it better and faster and not so clitchy and I'm confused on what is better I have seen all kinds of mods and roms I dont know which ones will work with my tablet or which one do what and so on was hopeing to get a little insite from you guys that have done this since i have not done this before and am now more confused the when i started thank you for your time.Bob

I got it for Christmas and wanted to root it but everything I have tried has failed, I am vary new to rooting, and would welcome any suggestions that would help me. Thank you
I am having the same issue I have gone out of my way to talk to support and they told me there is a way but hey can't tell me I was like what's that bull **** just to tell me but still nope so now I have to find out my self and now that I know for fact there is a way I'm on this like butter if I find any thing I will be sure to post it here

I would like to get recommendations about which ROM I should use.
As of this moment, Insignias community forums are down. There is no contact information.
There is also no support. IMHO this tablet had so much potential but the stock rom is atrocious. Always crashing and slowing to a crawl. I HAVE to install a custom rom if I ever hope to use it for anything more than a paperweight.

I can apparently install updates from the SD card. Ay help walking me through that would be greatly appreciated,

Hi guys!!! I'm really not happy with this tablet but... We already knew it's not itself fault because it's really great product... I just wanted it to be lightweight ROM like has what A500 Acer has lots of ROMs that should happen to this tablet but we must root this tablet first!!! Anyone help us??? Please help us???

I've searched quite a bit online and couldn't find anything useful, so hope android experts here are the right to ask. Does anyone know what that package/service may be used for?

It's consuming both battery and data, and I'd be pretty happy to erradicate it from my device if it's not needed.
