Hello,
Sorry if this is already answered but i use that feature a lot and I need it.
In call settings you have that option to enable but after you enable it there is no difference.
Please help resolving that problem.
Cheers.
I am using an app called vibrate call pro, it doesn't need root access however adding a command through adb, the developer wrote the detailed steps in the play store description and it works flawlessly
Are you trying to tell me samsung S6 is a lot useless then S4 for example?
If you need to install third party software for function that should be available and working why buy that phone at all.

Hello,
We have just launched Smart Unlock app and we need to know if is compatible with Samsung Galaxy S5 because we do not have this device.
Can you please test it and let us know?. Its a 7 day free trial but we can offert a full refund if someone want to buy it, we do not want to take any profit for xda members helping us to test our app.
Tha app is Smart Unlock and extends dafault smart lock functionality by adding wifi trusted devices, bluetooth or wifi, so usar do not have to wirte the lock pattern or pin each time while they are connected at home´s wifi or car´s bluetooth.
Hope you like it and it works properly on galaxy S5, thanks for testing.

No root required, compatible with android 4.1+

Thanks for testing it. Are you using touchwiz or stock android 5? We need to test under touchwiz mainly. I have been reported that is not working properly on Note 4 and I need to know if this affect also other touchwiz devices. Thanks for your help.

Cool, I wonder why is not working on Note 4 , I have removed availability on google play for Note 4, We will try to fix this soon.
Actually this funtion is built in already. You can find it under Settings->Security->Scroll down all the way->Smart Lock
In native smart lock there is no support for trusted WiFi devices. In smart Unlock yes.
Tested on Android 4.4.2, touchwiz, haven't worked on my G900F (International S5 version) using wifi smart unlock. Not sure about bluetooth.
Hello,
We have created a forum thread for this app.
If anyone is interested in following the development and changes here is the XDA link :

Hello, Thanks for your reply.
When you say "didn´t work", what do you mean exactly? Once you are connected to your wifi and you add the wifi to Trusted devices, you should see in the notification that the devices is "unlocked".
Do you see this notification? Yesterday we solved the issues with sony xperia z2 and z3 and now we would like to focus on samsung series, Thanks for your help.

Correct. And yes I saw "device unlocked" but then, when I pressed the power key to lock my device, then pressed it again to wake the device, I still had to input my pattern password.

Ok, so I can guess now what part of the code is being ignored by S5.
Do you have 4.4.2 stock rom?
And, maybe is a noob question for S5 users, but I´m not samsung owner and I dont know specific samsung software, so any help will be appreciate.
Is there any unlocking tool specific for S5 / note4 devices? For example on Z2 series there is a "Smart Connect" app that has included something similar to smart unlock but native on sony devices, also in Z2 there is a native option for unlocking near some BT devices, that was creating conflicts between our app in sony.
Hope we can solve the issues on S5 and Note 4 because are the only devices with problems using Smart Unlock.

Ok sorry, you are right, as you said before you are on android 5.0
I guess we will need a S5 to find a working solution. As I can read in this thread there is 1 user on 4.4.2 and you with android 5.0 and is not working for both of you.
I will try to get an S5 tomorrow, I will keep you informed with a test apk soon. Thanks for your testing time.

hi!
so since i tried nearly anything to get my HTC one m8 to work with my gear fit i decided to write this little tutorial, because i did not find any which fully worked.
the version of zwegnet was kind of working pretty good but i could not reject calls, or send a reject message.and media control was broken too.
the one from koalala gave me a crash every time someone called me and i did not get the calling notification.
then i read through this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/gea...r-fit-samsung-devices-lollipop-t3004234/page5
and on page 4 somebody started talking about a htc one m8. and that was pretty much my salvation!
It is version 1.98 of GFM but it works like butter!
Please test it with other phones running Lollipop and lets see if it works, many guys in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/gear-fit/general/1-117-0306-gear-fit-manager-samsung-t3077473 reported the same issues as i had and now im VERY FINE
WHAT YOU have to do
1. update your samsung gear fit to the LATEST version ( R350XXU0BNG2) with ODIN ( not with a SAMSUNG Galaxy S5 because youll get a different version) FOLLOW THESE STEPS : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2759697
2. Take bronxgsi 1.98 version ( THANK YOU BRONXGSI!!) http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3154622&d=1423331069
3. UNINSTALL your old version( if you have one) and INSTALL THE APK
4. The rest should be clear, connect to your gear fit, enable notifications in gear fit manager and in your android phone, settings -> notifications-> notification access-> gear fit manager has to be marked!
Now everything should work perfectly! of course anything touchwiz related is not working and some guys say app connect is not working, anyway i am not using such thing.
A BIG THANK YOU goes to :
tiagobt as he was the one who figured it out
bronxgsi he baked this version of gear fit manager!
Working :
Bluetooth connection
Clocks
Notifications
Media control
Custom clocks
Heart Rate
Call Notification
Reject Calls
Send Reject message
Find my phone
Not working :
Anything related to SHealth / Weather as it requires Touchwiz
Everything is working great with my xperia z3 compact and lollipop 5.0.2. Call notification and other app notifications.
I just downgraded my gear fit firmware from R350XXU0BOA2 to R350XXU0BNG2.
Thanks

THX! Big THX guys! This 1.98version is work correctly on my sony Z2 (lollipop 5.0.2)!
Works on Onepuls One Lollipop 5.0.2
Thanks a lot!
How to get it working?
I have Samsung Galaxy SIII (I9300) - Android 5.1.0 but I think that this solution may work for anyone, not only SGS III users (with custom rom).
If you did everythink as well as in the manual and your Gear Fit Manager crashes when it try to connect with your smart brand, you have to do only one thing: edit your build.prop.
Change "ro.product.manufacturer=..." to "ro.product.manufacturer=HTC", than reboot your phone and its done. You have working Gear Fit Manager with non-samsung device (or samsung device with custom rom) on Lollipop.
This idea is not from my head. I read it somewhere here on xda, but I think that its better to have this instructions on this page. Hope it will help you and sorry for my bad english.
works perfect for my lg g3. I just want to make my own watches but I can't see how to crop or do anything.
2 questions: will this same method work for the Samsung Gear 2 and secondly, do I have to be rooted to do this? I already had my Gear 2 connected to my HTC One M8, but as you all know, once it updated to lollipop, it stopped behaving correctly. Thanks in advance.
HTC One M8
Hi
I follwed the steps below, managed to upgrade the firmware (R350OXA0BNG2) using ODIN and that seemed to work fine. Only when I install the apk file do I come across a snag.
1.78 installs OK but crashes when it opens
1.86 does not install
1.98 does not install
I have tried installing them in order but same result
Anyone got any ideas?
In my OnePlus One with CM 5.1.1 works fine! But app connect doesn't work...

I'm a newbie and know nothing about rooting phones, but before I even attempt to root a phone I have a question. Will rooting a phone allow me to use a call recording app? The latest Android update has made phone call recording impossible on my Galaxy S9+ in the United States. I'm willing to go with a different phone for simplifying the rooting process. Your answers are appreciated!

Yes I have tried many call recorder apps and the results are all the same, just silence. They worked without any issues on my S7 edge but when I bought the S9+ I could only record calls while on speakerphone. After the Android 10 update I can't even do that anymore. Will rooting allow me to bypass those restrictions so I can record phone calls again? Thanks
Try Parrot app. Working fine for my note 10+
Hello,
I have a rooted Galaxy note 8 SM - N 9500 on oreo 8 stock rom.
Most of the I can not take the pjone out and swipe to answer.
Before I have s3 whivh had a function of answering phone call by voice in the settings.
Is there anyway to bring it back in this phone by manipulsting the rom or good application.I have tried so many apps in the play store, but none working.
The automatic answer call has no option to reject it

Hello everyone,
I have the global realme gt 5G rmx2202 and I've been searching ways to enable the deactivated call recording feature on my phone, I know it is disabled in EU due to regulations.
I would prefer not to root the phone or change the stock rom. is there any other way to enable this feature?
Thirdparty apps are useless i have tried both free and purchased ones.
The system call recording is so superior I just cant live without it I used to have it on my korean thinq g7.
I would like to thank XDA forum developers for their hard work and dedication we all appreciate you.

I too would like this feature, in UK it's not against regulations if recordings are not made public. I can also say it's for training purposes.
For some, rooting is not an option as some Financial apps will fail security.

Have you tried "Cube ACR"? I don't know if your particular regional ROM has an internal lock that disables it or whatever, but this at least works for WhatsApp calls.
Edit: I bought Chinese version, flashed global on it.
