Hi guys,
I really hope someone can help, i am terrible when it comes to technical stuff. So, i updated to lollipop and it is horrendous. Its probably very good for a phone or small device but for a 10inch tablet that is held landscape it just does not work. It just seems like the wrong software has been loaded. Massively optimised for phones. Anyway, i would like it to go back to how it used to be. I phoned my local sony shop and the man told me to restore to factory settings but that did nothing. I guess they know their stuff right! Could someone please help me?
Thanks
just flash with the Flashtool an older Firmware

ok i posted once before but got no replies. im hoping to get a little help here. my screen has been getting really fuzzy and now its getting so bad it will turn black on me.i am on stock rom and rooted but no kernel or anything else.its a gtab 10.1 wifi only. i dont have the tool to take the screws out to open it cause im wondering if it might be a loose cable or something. any ideas what will cause this? when i take a screen capture the image looks normal so its not capturing the problem with the screen itself.
pards, thats a hardware issue..if under warranty unroot and then bring it to the service center
thats what i was thinking but wasnt sure,problem is i bought the tab in usa and moved to philippines now my warranty is no good.they wont honor international .ive been online with samsung.so i guess i have to take it to the samsung here and see how much to fix it.samsung has lost my interest and liking thru all of this.
Hello I was updating my x10 and it fell down from the table while flashing the camera rom, battery went out and now camera is not working. Is there a chance that can be reflashed fixed somehow?
Tried searching the forum for an answer but it looks like there are some problems with some of the threads.
Thanks!

it maybe a software problem but try flashing the stock rom again and hook up your phone to your computer and do a defrag and I may work.
Umm if it fell off you might have broken it?????

New camera firmware was introduced in 2.1 so you can reflash it..if it doesn't work its hardware problem

Thanks to all of you for the replies.
The phone fell from the table but not to the floor, I caught it with my hand... the problem was that it lost the battery as the back cover was off, there was no hit to the device at all so that shouldn't break the hardware.
I am pretty sure it is just a matter of finding a way of reflashing the camera as that is what it was doing when the battery came out, after that I tried reflashing it again with Sony Ericsson utility but it says it is up to date, even after installing 1.6 with the flashtool when the update gets installed it goes all the way without reflashing the camera so that means that the camera started the flash and it probably got the information in place that identifies it as being up to date, however it doesnt work.
Again, I know the hardware is fine because there was no hit to the device and the phone is brand new, the camera was working fine when I took it out of the box to test it so it is pretty impossible that the camera broke down at that time. I have multiple X10's and they handle hits pretty good IMO...
Anyway i will try the defrag thing as that is the only thing I didn't do.
If anyone has more ideas or knows a method of reflashing the camera only please let me know.
Thanks!

if it is not a hardware prob, use sony update service. even if they say u got the latest software, force the update. that will fix it :laugh:
EDIT EDIT EDIT! The Preowner of the phone had pocked a hole into the assist antenna thinking it being an Hw reset button, this made reception very Poor,
I fixed it using Information found on this Thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1148431 So check the Assist antenna next to the battery if you experience similar on the stock room, It might be damaged or also poked by the preowner!

Hi Folks,
My tablet (GT-P7510 16gb) starts working really weird two or three months ago, (flickering screen by moments) nowdays the tablet is impossible to use because i am not able to see anything, so i have tried a lot of firmwares putting the tablet in recovery mode by guessing when to press the up volume becuase the screen is not showing anything or elegible things but i am not having any luck.
The back of the tablet says made from korea but when check samsumg DB there is not korea's firmware to download.
I have tried the thread wheres explain how to remove the flickering issues, but none of the fixed.
Any ideas on how to know my stock firmware? because after trying too many firmware i can't remember what is the correct one to use and search for it.
Thanks in advance. :good:
Best Regards :laugh:
Hello, guys. I am recovering my Xperia Z2 to be used by my Mum right now, I am getting a battery replacement and a microphones replacement. Before, I have checked the waterproofness of the phone, but it seems that I got killed micros and I have completely stuck with a microphone issue. People hear me like I am staying in a tunnel, that's why I just purchased the S7 Edge and didn't mind it. But, the Nexus 4 died, and I would like to give a sony to my Mum.
I would like to get rid off from a rooted 6.0 with a couple of tweaks (useless), xposed, e.t.c, also I have the recovery installed, and I don't want to get the recovery erased. And, I want to get a fresh install of 5.0.2/5.1.1. But, I would like to keep it rooted, and install the Cyberian Camera on it.
Or, any other rom which would possibly have a working microphone drivers.
I just don't remember all this things, because I haven't flashed the phones for ages. Please asssist me, I would be really thankful. :cyclops:

1 - download your FTF rom http://xperiafirmware.com;
2- Install Recovery Preferably TWRP;
3- Flash kernel to downgrade;
4- flash kernel to update;
5- flash SuperSU.
Good luck
Guys, maybe someone would be interestered:
I have found a solution of Xperia's Z2 microphone issue. I have replaced the Z2's microphones with Z3's microphones, and now, the phone calls are clear, and the phone works perfeclty. I decided to keep the 6.0, because with a new micros, same frimware worked fine. But, I still had too much **** installed, and I have just perfromed a fresh install of eXistenZ. I had a talk with a guy from a Sony repair shop, and he said that this thing with Z3 micros working 100%. This is not a software program, don't waste your time.
