[Q] VoIP / SIP recording - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I've got the paid version of Automatic Call Recorder and works as a treat.
However, doesn't record VoIP / SIP calls regardless what settings I've tried so far.
Can I ask if you came across this, please?
Or do you know another app who can do that? Maybe a sort of Skype voice recording would do the trick...
Cheers

You can buy a Classical Mp3 recorder or an iPod touch.
When you call turn on speakers. And it will do the trick.

That's fine, I wouldn't mind doing it but I'd like to record without turning the speakers on. And automatically...

[Q] Microphone off in call

Hello, i have this great mobile (SGS II), everything work fantastic. But today i call to few friends and nobody listen my voice. After activate loud microphone poeple listen me ok. But in normal mod nobody listen my screaming voice. I Turn off Mobile, but nothing change. Is any solution for this ?

a few other people seem to have this issue. no solution. just try positioning your mouth differently on the microphone and see. or turn off noise cancellation during the call.

No sound while recording video

Hey,
Yesterday I received my Galaxy 2. Now I'm involved in some testing and I noticed that while recording a movie no sound is recorded. The voice recorders etc does also not work. I have read that the microphone for using handsfree is also used for recording a movie and it just works (I have test handsfree). Does anyone know if there's a setting or something, that the mic. is muted?

[Q] no sound on incoming bluetooth call

Car stereo has bluetooth. I finally hooked up a microphone so it's usable in the car for making calls. When I place a call everything works fine, but when I receive a call I can't hear the caller, although they can hear me fine.
Anyone else experience this and find a fix?
Running the latest official AT&T release with no modifications.
Yes, I keep finding this myself and I have discovered the "problem" and solution
Basically, any incoming calls default to handset speaker and you have to manually tap "bluetooth" to transfer the call to the headset/handsfree. When making outgoing calls, it defaults to Bluetooth from the offset so no problem!
What I do not know, however, is how to force it to default to Bluetooth on incoming call...
I have not seen that issue and I use BT in my car a lot. BB351
Something else that could be the case: Are you listening to music through A2DP bluetooth at the time that the call comes in? It's possible that the transition from A2DP to headset protocol is what is "blocking" the call from going straight to the handsfree?
chaosdefinesorder is correct, you could have a misbehaving music app (or any other app with audio over bluetooth, such as navigation).
I know that PowerAmp and Playerpro both work well with bluetooth with the music stopping when a call comes in.
I was listening to FM radio at the time. When the call ends it always go back to whatever I was listening to.
So next time I should tap the phone button on the radio instead of sliding the button on the phone, apparently.

This was it. I have to answer the head unit, not the phone.

Voice call recording app that works?

Hello everyone, dont know if its the right thread,
Does anyone know a call recording app for Android 12 on LG that can record both sides?
Every app that i tried on playstore records only my voice and the sound from receiver is not captured.ie relies only on the device's microphone to record what it hears in general, not the incoming audio.
In the past was way easier, every app worked, even on BT audio.now not even one.
