Hi All,
My phone is a Samsung Mega Galaxy 6.3, v4.4.2, KOT49H. I9205XXUDNK1, i recently rooted my phone with Kingo Root and the rooting process was successful. However, i notice that my installed triangle away reset counter seems to reflect the value of '0' at all times and there seems to be no change. This is seems to be so even when i reboot my phone. Is this normal and why might this be so? in that regard, is it advisable for me to retain my triangle away application? Would appreciate any and all assistance with this query.
Thanks!

Hi, I have bought an Ace ME ROM version for my fiancée that had Eclair installed. I rooted the phone using superoneclick v1.9.1 and everything was working fine. Then my fiancée connected to Kies and tried to upgrade to Froyo however the phone hang and she removed the battery and then the phone was not working anymore. I got the phone to work again by reverting to factory settings from the recovery mode screen, and the phone was upgraded to Froyo. However, the phone lost its root, and I am not able to root it again, once trying SuperOneClick the phone hangs on waiting for device (even though I tried all remedies to this issue that are available online). I tried to install Z4root on the phone to root without connection to PC however the application crashes when I click root or unroot.
By the way, the phone says that it is rooted in the settings/About phone/Kernel version screen.
I would appreciate any help on how to re-root the phone as due to low capacity, app to SD and removing stock apps is necessary.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Did you try read before ask...??? What about thread "How to root Galaxy Ace"...??? Maybe is there some useful information for you...
of course i did, Im not new to Android as i have a galaxy S. In addition, the first time i rooted the Ace it was before the Ace forum was created here.
my phone is a samsung galaxy s2 which was is branded to orange.
i have recently updated from android 2.4.6 to the new android 4.0.3 through kies.
i was really wanting to just root my device but for the time being leave the current rom on, i mainly wanted to uninstall blatware for now and backup etc...
anyway things have gone a bit wrong, i tried following the beginners guide on the following url:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1056334
i downloaded the files that it tells you to, i opened odin and selected the XWKDD file as it says to and it said that the root was sucessful, but my phone didn't fully reboot, it went off and come onwith the samsung galaxy s2 logo and a yellow ! under it, and now it just stays on that and wont do anything else
have i ruined my phone or can it be fixed without losing any of my data or the way i had my phone?
any really fast help would be great, id love to sort this tonight if i can.
thanks in advance

Hello everyone
I am very new to this website as I just signed up and registered today. I am currently having a problem with my android phone, and I cant figure out how to resolve it.
The problem that I am having is that last week I was updating my phone when something in the device and caused my phone to become bricked. And after spending many hours on Youtube I finally found a video that helped me recover my phone by flashing the phones memory with clockworks recovery using odin and I was able to get my phone back up and working. But now whenever I turn my phone on I see the yellow triangle appear on bootup and I want to get rid of the triangle.
I downloaded the apk file for triangleaway but in order for me to be able to run it on my phone my phone needs to be rooted, and I have tried many ways to root my phone but it still says that my phone does not have root access.
My phone is a Samgung Galaxy Ace X II
Model Name GT-S7560M
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Hi, my wife's phones died and we had to do a rectory re-set. I have been trying to recover the photos she had on the internal memory using a deep scan but these all require the phone to be rooted, this is where the problem starts.
I have followed the links on here on how to do this, everything looks fine once its finished installing the root program, says passed in Odin but then I do the root test and it says "sorry you do not have root access". I have tried the trouble shooting solution (taking the battery out then turning on to activate the install) it installs fine but then it still says I don't have root access. I have been on this for about 8 hours over three days searching this forum and various other places on the internet but just cant find a solution. If anyone has any suggestions please, please help me it will be very much appreciated.

i need urgent help.. i installed kingo root apk on the tablet and tapped on -root-
[i know i should have research it a bit before but i didnt)
it progressed to 95% and just stuck there for like an hour already
i realise i can still open the task manager and multitask and everything else is perfectly working..i opened root checker(downloaded beforehand) and it says i got root acces
i also realised i got a new app " KingoUser" in the drawer
so my question is :
1. i want to know is this normal for kingoroot to be stuck like this?
2. is it safe if i reboted the tablet?
3. how long does normally kingo root finish rooting?
im freaking out really, too afraid to reboot it because i might end up with a bootloop..and i just got this tablet for my wife and im rooting it so i can hack some nikkiup2u game that she like to play for extra coins
please help, thanks in advance
