Hi all after I updated to Lollipop on the ZU , i just cant get my phone to go to deep sleep with even flight mode , the cpu is at constant 300+Mhz , even with master factory reset , reflashing whole ftf , now the problem is even if i go back to kitkat ftf still cpu is not sleeping ... any ideas ? what may be the problem ? is my cpu faulty ?

Same problem here, currently looking at the phone app wakelock.. anyone know how to cure it?
This was the battery stat from 100% in supposed sleep.

Have you unlocked bootloader your phone and what type of kernel have you flash ?
Because if you have doomkernel v0.5 overcloked it drain a lot of battery.
Or an other solution go to recovery and advanced then wipe battery stats.

bluefix problem

hi
install latest Epinter JB rom. applied the bluesleep.fix.
after a while the phone finally goes into deep sleep mode (which was never done before)
after some time in deep sleep mode the phone just turns off and require battery removal and turning on again
does anyone came up with this problem ?
when the rom is installed clean with no bluesleep fix it works fine

Galaxy S7 G930F mmc0_detect and bbd_wake_lock wakelocks - enormous battery drain

40$ Paypal for the person who finally helps me to solve my problem!
I have a very serious battery problem with my Galaxy S7 G930F.
Even at night when I do not use it and I turn on flight mode and energy saving mode it drains up to 10% battery per hour. When I go to bed with 60% sometimes the battery is completely discharged when I wake up in the morning.
I have had that issue for a long time now an I have already tried a lot to investigate what is causing the problem.
The first thing I tried was to completely wipe everything and reflash the official Nougat ROM. It did not help at all (I did not configure anything or install any apps! so the problem can not be caused by some app).
Then I tried both the SuperStock ROM and the Superman ROM for G930F - but the problem persistet. (I fully wiped everything in TWRP before flashing the new ROMS)
Using the App Wakelock Detector I found out that my phone is unable to go to deep sleep at all - and I also found out that the Kernel Waklocks mmc0_detect and bbd_wake_lock are causing this problem.
I have found out so far that the mmc0_detect problem can be caused by a faulty SD-Card - but I have not SD-Card installed!
The bbd_wake_lock comes from the broadcom sensorhub driver.
I have no idea what to do now, because I don't have better knwoledge to resolve the root cause of the problem.
Could it be a hardware probleme since the problem persists even with a clean install of a new ROM? I did not install any apps and the problem is already there.
Thanks for your help.

(sorry I can't post images yet)
I'm having the same problem too... I've also done the same steps that you did (factory reset, clean install superman rom, removed SD card, formatted SD card on the phone etc etc)... i'm starting to think that it's hardware problem....
the only difference I have with you is that my phone's a G930FD
Hi there....I'm running into the exact same issue. This is 100% Wifi related. If I turn off Wifi both these wake locks go away. I used better battery stats to track it.
I'm not sure what can be done to prevent it (other than turning off Wifi). Any ideas??
Thanks.

Update to MIUI 9 to fix battery drain issues

I'm current using stock MIUI 8.5.8.0 ( locked bootloader) . I'm having battery issues ( drains 20-25% overnight ).
I wanted to know if updating to MIUI 9 would fix the issue.
If not then to what version shall I downgrade to because I started having this issue after I updated and I don't remember the version which did not have any battery issues.
It probably will, even a factory reset will fix your issue(I am assuming it is a software problem not battery issue).. But instead try to find the cause of your problem.. Use cpu spy to check whether ur phone is entering deep sleep or not.. if its not check which app is using battery from power use section in phone settings.. if u are unable to get useful data from that then i may suggest rooting ur phone and using wakelock detector(If you dont want to do that a factory reset will most probably fix ur issue..)

Factory reset didn't fix the issue . "android system" is at the top of power use and I did try wakelock detector ( granted BATTERY_STATS through adb ) . deviceidle_maint seemed to be on the top .But I don't know how to fix it .
I suggest to use 8.2.10.0. It has good battery backup.
Actually I cannot compare to 8.5.8.0 because I only use it for a couple of day and then I moved to Global Developer ROM.
Right now I used MIUI 9, and I think it has good battery backup too, but still better 8.2.10.0.
BTW, if you want to downgrade, you need to unlock your bootloader.
You can find tutorial from here or here
