xposed for lolly pop
install the one for "arm" not 64 bit, make sure your os, I assume 5.1 then download the module "moto tether" this will get the thing to fire up without kicking you, however after doing everything under the sun ( sql edit, build prop edit, apn edit) everything in all the forums, nothing gets me to the internet because of a dns error, HOWEVER, Bluetooth tether works without problems and I connect just fine, if anybody ever figures out the native tether problem please post, yes ive used google code tether and all the rest, cant get past dns. hope this helps.

I don't even know if this is included in any of the current roms yet.
But I'm looking for a zip that I can flash onto a rooted evo to disable the authentication when tethering. This will allow for the stock USB tethering, without any 3rd party software or drivers on the phone or computer. (It will also allow wifi tethering with the sprint hotspot app)
If you guys had the original evo, you may remember this mod from caulkin.

Thanks
I haven't seen it yet but something that great has to be only a matter of time
Yes.

This is probably as easily done as changing two values in some file, as was done with the HTC jetstream to enable stock tethering.
It was found in Build.prop, but for the EVO LTE, those lines to edit aren't there.
Someone in my other thread said to check services.jar, but I haven't looked yet to see if anything pertinent to tethering is there.
Perhaps someone could? =)

Ive searched the web for how to change mac address on s3, it appears to be challenging. The screenshot shows one of the ways to do it, but it is neither quick or convenient, because it refreshes the mac everytime you turn off wifi and the connection is really slow, unusable.
(Higher quality image than posted below, not full though)

But the guy answering the posts says he's got a long lasting fix...but it looks like it requires recompiling drivers or stuff....what if i wanted to just change the mac without a completely permanent fix, but still a complete 100% mac change method? Anybody know how?

Hi!
I'm experiencing some issue with Webkey app. I ain't got enough knowlegde about development of apps, that's why I'm asking for help.
Webkey used to work well before the May 2018 update. I have it installed in my Asus Zenfone 2 Z00A, with root.
But after the update, it doesn't connect anymore. In the main screen, I turn it off, then on again, and it says "connecting" for some seconds, then "offline" again.
Then I downloaded a previous version of Webkey in it's website, but unfortunately it doesn't work neither. But it's not the version I used to have previously. Apparently it's a version older than that. The version I used to have I can't find anymore.
Default restored my device, rooted and installed Webkey again, and no success.
The SuperUser app shows these logs below in different times I tried:

So would you please suggest something I could do?
Thanks!
My daughter has a Moto G7 running Android 10 at college and needs to disable MAC Randomization for her wireless profile in order to connect. However, the option in the profile settings to use the device mac is completely missing. I am working with Motorola support, but they are currently telling me that they are "working with campus IT" which I don't expect to help at all. I was able to use a dialer code to bring up the wifi settings and it absolutely shows macrandomization=1.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to change that setting? I really don't want to root the phone since it goofs up many of the apps she uses and she has been using her laptop for a hotspot. But it's crazy frustrating that it would probably be just fine if I could edit the settings file to change that value.

I want to try the web results feature in Windows 11. It didn't work in my case (just the auto completion list will appear). I searched the internet but came to the conclusion, that most users want it disabled instead of enabled. To clarify the issue (the result that I want), I added a picture below.

I tried to solve it with gpedit.msc and adding a DWORD to the registry, but it didn't worked.
Thanks for any help
Somehow, after the update 2022-11 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5019980), Bing web results showed up. I tested the update too on my second computer and it worked as well. Not sure, if the new icon is a hint of Bing web results being activated:
In my case, the issue resolved on it's own after the update.
