Hi, i wanted to know if there's a way to make a D620J (japanese) on a different region, more precisely on Latin America.
I've tried using a different region firmware, but LG Flash Tool doesn't work... So i ran out of ideas

maybe you can flash your region modem via terminal, you can extract it with lg kdz extractor
Try to flash the unbranded firmware of Latin America (yes, for D620R, don't worry, it will work)
If it doesn't work, then give us the error so that we can help you.

Ok, first of all which Flash tool did you use? You should use this one:

The second question where did you download firmware from? I suggest this site:
http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=57
Then, which firmware did you download (if you downloaded some)? Try to choose some other region from South America cause there are mostly D625 variants (Tegra version).
PS.
Watch for the supported network frequencies cause Japanese version has some different ones (http://www.lg.com/jp/mobile-phone/lg-D620J).

I'm using that same flash tool, and i've tried with D610AR firmware, which is from Claro Argentina. I'll try with a D620R one and see if it works.
Another thing I forgot. What does v10a/i/etc. means?

if you flash a different model you will brick your phone
you can't flash a d610ar firmware in a d620
make sure to flash same model number

EDIT: the build from Portugal gets stuck at 26%, so I recommend installing another one instead (I think they are all the same).

Same here. I'm trying to figure it out.
Edit: the portuguese build has the same problem if you update from LG PC Suite.
The link in OP was for the portuguese build. I changed it so now you can download for other countries.
Edit: Could anybody update to one of these builds? It gets stuck at 26% with LG PC Suite, with LG Mobile Support Tool and with the offline method. I compared the size of the portuguese and german builds and they are the same, so maybe all european builds have the same error. Can anyone confirm this?

Many Portuguese are getting this error, whatever method they use.
How about installing 4.2.2 from another country and then upgrade to 4.4.2?
All file KDZ are the same

Yes, I think all european builds are the same. But the portuguese one gets stuck at 26%, so I installed the french one and it's working perfectly.
here the same i have installed the italian version whit offline metod whitout issue,and build.prop show european version UK,

I tried to install the fw update, got an error that I don´t have enough space on disk. Uninstalled a few things. Not it does not work anymore lol.
Are there reg keys I need to delete or somethings?

I found this site that provides all the stock firmwares of lg g2 mini variants. I have the d620r. As i read in the other post the d620/r/fr are carrier's games. I bought one from a shop here in Greece (From Arta) that imports g2 minis from italy. The carrier is TIM. So i want to install the stock lg firmware without all the [email protected] that tim has installed. In your opinion which one should i install the NEU or the ITA/Italy? I wont brick it right?
I want to add that i removed as many tim apps and the boot animation that tim added after rooting it. But after 2 months apps crash and i lose app icons. Thats why i want to instal the stock rom.

If you check the list, under Italy, TIM is for D620R which also confirms my previous assumption that D620fr is, in fact, D620r in hardware and that the 'fr' is only on software level. This also implies that all variants starting with 'D620' are the D620R and simply they are branded, to 'scare' people so that they won't flash the unbranded firmware.
As a result, flashing stock firmware (for D620R) on any D620xx variant will only remove the [email protected] restrictions placed by carriers (TIM, in your case) and will not brick the device.

Hello everyone.....few days ago I flashed the wrong bootstacks on my D620J and now I have no network :crying: everything else is working fine(wifi/camera). The SIM card is detected and the carrier name is shown in lockscreen, I don't know what to do
I even tried the *#*#4636#*#* menu to turn the radio on but It doesn't turn on. I'm guessing It's because of the wrong "modem.img" that was inside that bootstacks.
does anyone here have the D620J that can extract the "modem.img" and upload it somewhere ?
also, I have the source code for D620J downloaded from LG website, but I have no idea what to do with this
any help will be greatly appreciated

Enter your IMEI here and it will give you the kdz for your variant directly from LG 's servers.

YK is another variant of this phone, as i can know you can flash the F600 firmware on that device, i am not so sure if you flash H960a it will work, but you need to flash H960TR because you have 64GB of storage.

yes, Android 7.0 is avaible now for most of this phone variants, to download go here:

find your variant (in this case try find H960TR, i think is better for you). Download the V30 KDZ and flash with Uppercut, make sure the Uppercut is set to Update mode in the middle options.

Heyy thanks a lot. I am downloading the KDZ file now. But I am trying to download Uppercut (I looked for a link in the forum) and I only found this link and the download allways gets stuck in the end. Any different program I can use or a different link?

Hi, My LG V60 (Japan variant.. A001Lg) is stuck on LG logo and does not go beyond. No option to go to recovery, only download mode is available. Cant facotry reset or anything as it seems recovery is corrupt. Can anyone plz help and share stock firmware KDZ or TOT file of same variant? It ll be big help, thanks.

I am from Pakistan, yes operating on same bands and it was working absolutely fine. Also got OTA update to latest android version last month. However its system software started crashing few days ago. Then it restarted but it got stuck on LG splash screen forever and does not turn off. No combination is working for factory reset. Only it is going into download mode when connected to PC. I badly need its stock firmware file to get it working again. If u can help, that would b relaly great. Thanks.

Hi thanks. I hav downloaded EU version kdz already as last option but trying to search its original firmware first however no luck as of now. Coz i doubt it may mess partitions/imei etc. Lets see how it goes.

I would not suggest crossflashing. The frequency bands probably will not be the same.
