REQ: Help getting rid of S Finder/quick connect - Galaxy Note 4 Themes and Apps

Hi all, I'm running rooted deodexed stock 5.0.1 on the 910R4 (US Cellular variant). I've done a few things such as changing the brightness slider color and the toggle colors, but no matter what method I try I cannot get rid of that annoying S Finder/Quick connect bar in the notification drop down. I've tried flashing several different themes with it removed from other variants but always results in system ui fc's. Can anybody help me figure out what I need to do or edit to get rid of it? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Yes, you have to edit line on dimens.xml
Code:
<dimen name="finder_connect_layout_height">
and set to 0.0

Need help with Settings theme

Hi all,
I don't know what is causing this but settings theme has a graphical issue (see below). On/Off options for WiFi and Bluetooth are both messed up.
Can someone please help me out here, how it can be fixed as I really like the ROM I have installed for my Xperia Ray.
Help will be appreciated

How can I go about doing it? Is it something I can replace with from another Xperia Ray ROM? i.e. framework-res.apk?
Thanks for your help

Most likely the framework res. Could be the settings apk but I am almost sure it is the framework-res.

Thanks dude, I've attached the file. There's a ton of users in the NOS 4.2.2 GPE that want this fixed but we can't seem to figure out how. If you get this fixed for us then you're an absolute life saver. Happen to know this stuck around even when flashing to a completely different rom?
Thanks

Please accept my appologies, i am unable to help you with a single line date.:crying:
Your SystemUI is fairly different to the one that i am using, and does not contain the xml files that i use to change the date to a single line.
I will investigate further and if i find any thing, i will let you know.

This should make it 2 lines. This is not a flashable zip, but if you want I can make you a flashable - I assume your systemui is at /system/app/?
What was changed?
In \res\layout\status_bar_expanded_header.xml I removed android:singleLine="true" from the com.android.systemui.statusbar.policy.DateView view, which should allow for 2 lines when needed.

sorry to hear that... you could try wiping cache and dalvik and see if it makes a difference, but without the singleline in there it should go to 2 lines when necessary. That's how it should work anyway. Sorry I couldn't be more help!

Oh sry then,didnt know it.
Try editing your build prop
ro.product.name and ro.product.device from "kltetmo"(or whatever is there) to "klteatt"
I know for a fact editing your build prop file can affect your notification drop down.
I used Xposed G-touchwiz . You can remove dere .

BEFORE STARTING: DO A BACKUP!
1. Download a root file explorer
2. go to /system
3. find and open build.prop in a text editor
4. edit whatever you want
5. reboot(or else nothing will change)
6. profit

Thanks! When I did that and changed the KLTESPR to KLTEATT and rebooted my phone threw an error message over and over dealing with the network. So I dont think I can edit build.prop on OA6 to remove S Finder and Quick Connect.

are you on lollipop(I think so, but just to be sure I ask again)? It happened to me too...I'm still experimenting with this on lollipop, I can't seem to be able to change kltexx to kltevzw, my SystemUI crashes when rotating the phone :/
Edit: klteatt doesn't work either, I'm trying the rest now
Edit 2: I can't get any of them to work. Could this be because I'm not on BOA6 yet?

there has to be. I gave up for now, I can't live without full-screen youtube videos, so I guess I'm stuck with the stupid buttons at the moment...
Does anyone else know a possible solution?
It does work but only if you change ONLY ro.product.name=klteatt
If you change device=spr it will loop the networkservice error and lock you out.
Doing this also changes your data icons from sprint/spark to the att/4glte one....fine with me to get rid of the damn buttons.(Did it with xposed previously on KK )

I was going to ask this question but u saved me will this work on s9 port of alexis 3.2
Finally got the time to backup system and try the mod.
Luckily I did backup system first.
I guess it just won't work if the systemUI is from another model.
After flashing in recovery, system rebooted but apps were optimized again as if I cleared cache and dalvik.
Once booted, no lock screen, directly into home screen, and once I lock the phone, wasn't able to unlock through any means except camera shortcut (double tap power button).
So please @Arteush, patch the systemUI for my model. Thanks a lot!
