I could install the apps to my HTC HD2 Android with CM7 before. After I flash my device to the AmeriCanAndroid AOSP HD2 GB2.3.7 CM7.2, I tried to reinstall the apps from my Market Place profile but it reported my device was not compatible to that apps. I directly download the apps and need to install the apps as non-Market apps? The apps work fine.
My question is why the apps report incompatible with my device? Not only one apps has this problem, what should I do to solve this?
Best regards,
Kelvin.
App Compatibility
Which apps have you tried re-installing?
Perhaps they aren't yet compatible with something updated in GB 2.3.7?
When they were running, what OS version was on your device?
For example the Adobe Reader. PasswordWallet, SyncMate (as I can't post the URL in the reply, apps is easily to search it out from Google)
One of the most popular instant messager in China, the QQ also reports Parse error (There is a problem parsing the package) and cannot be installed.
They claimed this firmware 2.3.7 which was optimized by non-official source.
Any suggestion that I can do the installation?
Best regards,
Kelvin.
Hi everyone. I'm new on android so this issue confuses my mind. If i have to download an older version of an application, how can i find an older version of it. For instance the newest version of "A" application is 2.2.1. But i want to do downgrade/download the older version for instance 2.1.0. How can i get it? From apk sites or such like that?
If so what is the widest and best apk sites for this to download ??
Thanks for your replies...
contact the app developer and ask for it is probably the easiest/quickest route

Thanks for your reply firstly. But i asked this question as a general knowledge. Before my new android phone, i was using the iOS and i know how to do it. (i knew the .ipa sources and methods) Also i did it sometimes. But in android i dont know any quality apk sources for instance for older versions of some base applications (that has receive lots of updates) whatsapp, instagram, facebook etc...
Many of the apk sites will be no more than Warez sites .
Google is always your best source of apks bearing in mind the above .
Possibly a search or an ask on XDA .
Old versions is not something normally asked for .
jje
all the apps on play store have email contacts, so I would just email them direct

Try to check at AndroidDrawer.com
Its more reliable due to the md5 checksum.

Hello,
I am an Irish language enthusiast, and I would like to have the option to use Android in Irish.
Older Samsung phones had this ability, possibly others.
It's clear that Google is not going to add this to stock Android in the near future, so I'd like to do it myself!
How would I go about adding Irish as a language to Android?
I would be able to do the translation myself, I understand that this probably requires making a custom ROM
(I have no experience with making custom ROMs)
Could anyone explain the process of doing this to me, as I'd really love to try it out !
Thanks (I hope!)
Search "Language Enabler" on Play Store (Root Required)

Currently, you can "unhide" languages with root on a Sumsung device even without switching ROMs (root is still required). Search "Language Enabler" on Play Store.

You can also add languages by editing the APK .... and by creating a folder in apk/Res/values-id ..... where id is the language to add ... for example for english is vaules-en .... and add the file within string.xml with the translated strings ...
Hi!
How to add System update feature to my custom rom without 3rd party app like otaupdatecenter.pro ... ?

Hi,
is there any method to get native call recording in s9 without losing warranty? im on newest xeo
If it isn't enabled by default or the menu option is not present then it means for some reason your carrier, local/state/country laws or region is not allowing it to be enabled.
If the above is true then your options are kinda limited.
I am not sure if flashing the unlocked firmware (if one is even available for your model) for your device will allow it to be enabled. Someone else may have more insight into this one, might help if you posted the phone's model number.
Second is rooting the device so you can manually enable it. This of course is only possible if the device your using is even capable of being rooted.. Not all s9+ models can be (G965U/G965U1 for example). This does void the warranty unfortunately.
Alternatively you can use a third party app to do the call recording. The use of 3rd party apps will work, but you may need to make adjustments in the app or use your phone a lil differently (like speakerphone vs earpiece).
You can also try searching the forum for other people asking on the same subject.. This has been discussed/asked before and other ideas/insights/discussions from those threads may be of use to you.
I have it on my G965F exynos.
My model is SM-G965F version G965FXXS3CSD2 9PIE i dont want rooting my device cause of losing warranty, none 3rd apps doesnt working in my country PL they all are blocked...
You said 3rd party recording apps don't work because they are blocked. By blocked do you mean your region doesn't allow these kinds of apps?
If just blocked on the playstore you can try maybe downloading the APK and installing it manually. You may have to allow the installation of apps outside of the playstore (install apps from unknown sources is the setting on my phone). I've done this on my phone for the linux on dex and other apps when they were not available on playstore.

i tryed installing 3rd apps but they doesnt recording well becuase call recording is blocked in my country. I had 1 idea to try to install another ROM where call recording is allowed sth like Israel (ILO ROM) but from newest versiom XEO ROM developers blocked downgrading ROMS.. i need to waiting when ILO ROM will be on the same files like XEO. Do you have any other ideas?

Sorry I do not have any ideas that don't require 3rd party apps, modyfing or rooting the phone (modyfing/rooting would invalidate the warranty so pretty much a no go with those)..
It looks like your idea of flashing the firmware for another CSC maybe the best one for you.. Unfortunately the wait for a OS release that you can flash maybe the only drawback.
