Don't listen to that guy!
1. Do you have supersu?
No: get it. Yes :
2. Go to supersu and scroll down the settings menu until you see "clean up for permanent unroot" press it.
3. Follow the instructions.
4. You are now unrooted!

If you have locked bootloader and stock recovery.
Never tried this, but after this you can go to download mode and check for sure if it says rooted or not!
I think if you need to return to stock for the update to lollipop better flash kdz and have a clean stock version, no rooted apps, no busybox installed. This is my opinion!
You must flash either your current version KDZ or the Lollipop KDZ.
That is because:
a) If you have the stock recovery and rooted system, then it will probably detect a modified /system partition and cancel the OTA update. The worst case scenario would be if the update, for some reason completed, it would soft-brick your device.
b) If you have a custom recovery, then it will do nothing, but it's possible that every time you try to boot back into the system, the system will boot you back into recovery, in an attempt to complete the OTA update.

why you can't use lg flash tools?
Because it does not recognize the phone and gets stuck after15%, asking to try again.
I thought it was because of root or TWRP recovery but i found a solution using LG mobile support Tools in recovery mode.
I tried to go back to KK but after flashing and rebooting, it was stuck on LG boot logo.
Then i used LG flash Tools to upgrade to kdz 5.02 and it worked !
Now i run official Lolipop and i don't need to root anymore :
I needed root to run Foldermount to make Navigon App store maps on external SDcard ; it is possible without App now !
Thanks.

Hello,
Yesterday I've downloaded official software update for LG Optimus L9 P760, my phone is rooted. So, phone restarted and boom it stuck into CMW Recovery mode. I've tried everything I found on internet, I have used exitrecovery.zip file USERUI recovery zip, I even used other rom. I can't connect phone to pc I don't know why, but when I do my pc recognizes it as an unknown device. Please if some one can help me I would be very, VERY grateful. Thank YOU
Hello, it's the same problem like i had.
The phone needs the stock recovery to install official firmware updates.
You have to flash the stock firmware with the offline kdz flashing method and then update it via device or just download the new kdz and flash it. Then you have to root your phone again and voila everything is fine.
I hope i helped you!

I've fixed my phone by following this tread

No you don't. This is 1 click and you're ready. However I recommend you download the latest bumped twrp and flash it inside the current recovery. I'll add new versions soon and some more features

Yup just rooted and installed TWRP on ZVA...got the same "Security Error" and power off. Downloading BarePapA to an SD card now, will post results once installed!
Yes it worked.
Here was what i did:
Started with a bone stock Sprint G3 running 5.0.1 ZVA
Ran the one click root for ZVA. Rooted successfully
Installed the TWRP one click APK. The phone booted into TWRP and went into download mode fine but would display "Security Error" and turn off if a regular boot was attempted.
I downloaded BarePapA V1 and threw it onto an SD card. Booted into TWRP and followed the install directions on the ROM page. Install was a success. It booted fine. Took a minute to prepare the apps as usual but everything works and i am rooted. Posting from the phone now. Great modded stock ROM by the way.
I've got the autorec also for zva. It doesn't boot because of more recent kernel. I can post it. Basically you can just flash a kernel and it will work.
EDIT:
Autorec ls990 ZVA - download
Poslano sa mog LG-D855 koristeći Tapatalk
this worked for me. But now we're on ZVB. i ended up downloading the pre-rooted from autoprime
Upload me the kernel please
Poslano sa mog LG-D855 koristeći Tapatalk
This worked for me on ZV8 with root. Thanks! I do have one question though. The boot.img of the stock kernel that was replaced and the new kernel that was installed is of a different size. The new kernel image is ~13.5 MB while the stock ZV8 kernel image is ~16.8 MB. What are the changes between the two or the origin?
On a side note, I attempted to flash a factory ZV8 boot image and the bootloader said no way. I then flashed a bumped factory ZV8 image and it worked as it should.

You can use Kingo Root app, then use file in attachment to replace Kingo root app to SuperSU. But I am not responding for any damage. (but for me it worked well).
This is probably easiest way (for me )
Flash this in recovery after installing recovery.

King root says it doesnt have aroot for my phone
You can do this from phone.
Just go to settings > about and tap 7 times at build number, then go to Developer settings and enable USB debbuging. Now download Kingo Root app, install and launch it and continue.
If evertything goes well (without errors) you can install recovery, eg. Nut's dual recovery and switch to SuperSU (highly recommended!) with this zip:

Is there any possibility to uninstall that SuperSU app? or go to state before my rooting attempt ?

Excuse me, he would say it, but this is another topic with a question, how to root Android Marshmallow with locked bootloader.
With Flashtool, no way to flash prerooted FTF, because prerooted firmware in ZIP format is only for flash from recovery (TWRP).
As already understood, at this stage it is not possible to root with locked BL.
Do not you want to unlock, but you don't want to do downgrade.
You are interested in the easiest way without unlocking, but in this situation (without unlocked bootloader) for now is only possible to return to a previous version of Android, which you do not want.
Consider and choose possible and reasonable option for you.

How can I do downgrade and upgrade again to root MM . 575?
Sent from my D6503 using XDA-Developers mobile app
Step.
1. Download right FTF firmware for your model device, that software have way to root, like 5.1.1.
2. Install drivers for device and flashmod, after that Flash firmware from Flashtool.
3. After that, root Android version and install recovery - Nuts Dual Recovery.
4. When you have root and recovery, just follow step for install in recovery / clear data, cache, dalvik cache ..../ from first post in topic with prerooted Marshmallow .575 and you will be with rooted last version on Android, Marshmallow 6.0.1, build 23.5.A.0.575

I think, you forgot to flash TWRP Recovery after flash the rom.
TWRP app, will not help in this situation.
Think it's best and clear to move back to return to the previous version of Android which allows Root, then install recovery again and again steps to flash pre rooted Marshmallow.
Sorry for this, but at least I would do.
P.s. I see too late, that you forgot to flash recovery on the moment when you flash the rom.
I didn't find flashable recovery zip to flash via recovey before lose the old recovey on old firmware
