Thanks for the new rom.
Any plans to be able change the color of the battery and data bars? That's really the only thing I'm missing lol I'm coming from bliss
Just an FYI but we already have official builds for AICP here:
http://dwnld.aicp-rom.com/?device=vs985
(However to be fair there hasn't been a build since 5/7)
Yeah. I can talk to devs on seeing we can make this AICP wide setting. If not, I can add the feature in myself to my own builds.
Any idea why when I load up brave frontier it won't get past the download screen but on any other ROM it works amazing? I heard was kernel issue so I flashed a different one same issue

Some themes like JB Extreme CM12 do change the color and some other ROMs such as Flex ROM have that feature. Hopefully AICP can get this added it as that's one of the few things I feel that's missing along with adding in more battery meter styles.
So far, so smooth
New official build came out today as well. Keeps getting better every new build. Battery stats are improving slowly as well.
Great ROM! Just wondering if anyone is having wi-fi issues with the 5ghz band. It's only seeing my 2.4ghz band.
I have started working on working adding the feature to change the status bar colors. It is going to take me a little bit of time since finals week just started for me. I have also updated the recommended gapps to CyanogenMod's 12.1 gapps. They are probably a bit more stable. Also, you can flash nighties on top of each other. If you start getting weird issues, try doing a clean wipe and then flash.
As always, if you have a requests for a feature or a bug, please let me know.

5ghz band Wifi doesn't seem to be working across most AOSP/CM12.1 based ROMs I have used so far.

Only thing I have noticed is as far as bugs is the brave frontier game when I go to download everything it stalls at around 10% tried it on data and a few different wifis and no avail the log cat I took said something kernel wise so I changed to 777 the only aosp kernel I know still didn't work
Anyone figure out how to make ad blocker stick?
g3 Camera
I assume you can't get the stock camera, but what camera do you end up with on this rom? Do you lose any features or qualiity?

Wow!!!! Im gonna try this!!!
I flashed this. The battery is great!!! Im gonna stay in this.
Rock solid. A great ROM!
Is anyone having auto-rotation issues with this ROM? It doesn't change into landscape mode (for me at least).
Did you reboot at least once?
Working For Me, reboot it.

Im Having BlackScreen When watching videos.
Yeah, rebooting twice didn't work but it wasn't until I installed Red Kernel that it started working again. Probably just coincidental but it works great now! Performance is pretty good and the wide variety of customization is nice.
Great ROM
Same here, i had a black screen while browsing on YouTube
Other than that, I like this rom very much
Titanium backup and Solid Explorer can't see external sd card. Any one confirm?
works fine here
you have access to the external SD from everywhere else ? (e.g. file explorer, music players)
is the microSD alright ? tried the micrSD in a different device ?
folder permissions ?
New build is up!

Running this now. Using Slim gapps but wish I would have used Banks gapps. This ROM is very snappy and stable. Thanks for your work!
Never mind ! Bit too much left to be done....but thanks! Main reason was I could never get the type looking either too small or too large from any browser I tried ! Never had this issue before...weird. But may come back if that is ever fixed. Good effort !!

Did you not see the other comment?
It has blackscreen while searching in youtube and watching. Even when you're Playing.
Just wanted to let you know that I had a "Black Screen" problem for the second time
This occurs after a runtime of several hours or days and happens suddenly - only the backlight works (albeit very low), screen content is blank
(this time while reading on Kindle, the other time while reading in Acrobat Reader)
Turning off + on the screen via the Power Button works but the screen content is blank.
The same with double-tapping on the screen to wake it up from sleep.
Only "solution" so far was to turn off the device (= long press on the Power Button).
Never had this issue with Android 4.x based ROMs (Liquid Smooth) or the early builds of Android 5.0.x (Resurrection Remix LP [UNOFFICIAL BUILDS])
so I can't say if it's specific to this ROM, 5.1 (regression) or anything else
I'll try to update the ROM after battery is full again & see if it occurs once more
Build is flexos_5.1.1_20150505_unofficial_awifi.zip

Awesome! Another ROM for us. Thanks a lot.
Installed this room. It's beautiful and smooth
Awesome
I believe this has nothing to do with Team Viper?
Sweet, we've gotten two new roms in just a couple days!
Very smooth rom! So far no issues I've encountered. Thanks for sharing!
Can someone who has tried this give a little run-down of this ROM? Whats a little buggy, what isn't. It can't be too much different than the other Nougat ROMs I'm assuming.

What other Nougat ROMs have you tried? Can you compare at all to some others in regards to camera, bluetooth, wifi to cell data transfer, random reboots, and stuff like that? Some of us want to try this but need to know a little more. Anything you can add would be much appreciated.
testing 3 days : no random reboots, handbag kernel working perfect, snapchat works good, camera fine, sound great ( call and music ), i have no issues at the time (wifi, bluetooth, data)
One world -> great, but I waiting for quick unlock
Nice ROM, but sadly it has audio stutter e.g. when quickly scrolling google+ while listening spotify, going back to Tesla (the only rom without audio stutter) for now.
Great job..running as smooth as silk..no problems at all..thank you

Just flashed this. Will report back with anything I find. Just off the bat things seem good. It probably has the least amount of extra features than any other ROM but if everything else works right, who cares. Switching from camera to camera in different apps is pretty quick. Would like to see things like double tap lockscreen to sleep, and some other QOL stuff, unless I somehow missed it. Thanks for the ROM!
Oh, and the flashlight works.
Many thanks for the ROM, it's fantastic! But I have a question: how could I improve the audio? So far it has been impossible for me to run Viper4Android ...

It's very good, I've tried Arrow, Havok and Pixel but so far this ROM is the best in customization, the themes are good and has a wider range of colors, I like u include the edge gestures but I would like to add the change of last app when keep the gesture of returning.
I have only tested it for 24 hours but I think it will be the one I will use for a long time, everything works fine until now

Bug I found Random reboot when open Instagram and youtube,no navigation bar option, charging led not working hope this will be fix in upcoming updates
Cool Great build!!!! :fingers-crossed:
Installed ROM last weekend, been running as my daily drive since.
Smooth, no lagging or reboots & just the right amount of customisation for me.
Only bugs recognised :
Notification led issue , as already stated
Contactless not working but NFC reading tags Ok.
I'm a medium user so probably not putting it through it's paces as others might.

I've been running as my daily driver since March & not had any issues of the system rebooting in that manner.
System running as stock, no 3rd party themes applied.
I've had a normal reboot whilst using the phone in the car which i put down to overload.
Because I was playing songs over BT via Viper4Andriod & Rocket Player, following the Sat Nav whilst charging the phone.
Cannot receive text messages Vipeer 6.1 OnePlus One
I was amazed how great this Rom was. Everything worked even the WIFI on a non Broadcasting network. I switch phones having a second OnePlus one and the sim card was registered OK and data, Calls, and text out works fine. Just can't receive text messages. I gone through all the options I read about for texting problem I could find but no one seems to have this problem. Where do I get in touch with the team to see if they can help?
This is a really great rom!
However I've got a problem: I'm randomly getting the message "Device is shutting down" followed by a reboot to recovery.
Any idea what the problem could be?

Read the whole OP! Be respectful to each other and don't ask for ETAs, it's considered as being rude!
AOSP Extended is an AOSP based ROM which provides stock UI/UX with various customisations features along with the Substratum theme engine. The project has been made by cherry-picking various commits from various other projects. Being based on AOSP it provides a smooth and lag-free experience out of the box. We will constantly try to add more features and make it even better in future updates. A ROM by a user, for a user. #StayAOSP #ExtendYourDevice #BeExtended
#ExtendYourDevice Here are the Extensions! on top of AOSP! We are constantly trying to update the list. Our aim is not to provide all the features available on earth. We are not thinking of cherry-picking every feature out there. Our aim is to add important features that we think should be here and also what you think.
This is AEX ROM, my personal builds. I do things a bit differently from official, including versioning. My kernel is included (Krieg)
Theres some rules here. WED-SAT are my work days. Dont expect a response on those days, although Ill try my best. Be patient, thats the only way this project will last.
If encrypted and coming from any other ROM, you must wipe the entire device!!!! (FORMAT DATA!!)
This inlcudes fully functioning OP camera. As well as AdAway.
Nethunter kernel features should work. Ive had issues with atheros chipsets.
YOU MUST BE ON 9.0.6 FIRMWARE!!!

Thanks to all devs especially the ones from AEX. Without everyone there wouldnt be custom ROMs and kernels.
Thank you,

The updater app wasn't meant to make it in. My builds will remain unofficial as I like to diverge from what they do as a whole. But I maintain that this is still AEX. As always they've done an amazing job.
Nice to see you back here! This was one of my favorite ROMs.

Here you go perfect as always
The God of AEX is back here
Glad that it is saturday. Im gonna have some fun with this rom
In device extras is spectrum profiles. I can't guarantee they'll work with a different kernel. It's not my intentions to force everyone to use Krieg however, if you do use a different kernel, you'll need to use a kernel app. Other wise if you so choose, you can just use spectrum. I advise keeping at balanced. I can't be held responsible for battery drain if you use performance.
Glad everyone's excited. I have to knock out this last day at work.
I plan to add my ex kernel manager color profile to device extras as well.
Very good ROM mate. Regards. Nice combination.

Last break before I'm done for the day. Yeah, I'll try to get another build up Monday or Tuesday before I start the work week on Wednesday
Also I won't be doing versions of the kernel. For inlining it'll just say AEX-KRIEG from now on. Although it too will receive updates

Ive used battery save option in spectrum profiles, it is all good... Played some mini games, had chat in discord for like 5-6 hours, watched youtube vids, watched lirik for 5 hours...
Only thing i dont like is, when i enable substratum option in display settings and set style as extendes, black bars turn into the whole ui color like in youtube.
Another thing ive found is when i add other sound options into volume panel, it adjusts ring volume at all times. Like while a media is being played, volume buttons adjust ring volume(also changes if alert slider is on silence or vibration)
Didnt upload pictures, dont know why

Substratum and built in theming.... It warns you there may be issues.
And I just used YouTube with it set to use ring by default. Volume did control media as long as I was in YouTube.
Please refer to screenshot about theming
