Few odd issues I'm having with my phone. Updated a few weeks ago to Lollipop, full stock. Did a factory reset after receiving the upgrade. Everything was pretty good. Not sure if another update went out a few days ago? I noticed some icons changed and I think a few more changes in camera and gallery. Since then, (past few days) my messaging app keeps force closing. I've cleared it's cache. Not sure what else to do.
Another issue I've had for a WHILE, prior to lollipop, is constant/intermittent beeping throughout phone calls. It sounds like I or the other person keeps hitting buttons on the keypad, however, neither of us are. This happens quite a bit throughout every phone call, and it's not notifications coming through.
I had a similar issue...
After the update to Lollipop, my phone decided that it no longer wanted to be a phone. The Process com.android.phone would stop responding.
I went into recovery and wiped the cache from there, which helped for about two weeks. Then several apps updated, and the problem re-surfaced & refused to go away.
I eventually ended up downloading the RUU file from HTC, and running it. After backing up all of my data. (THIS WILL WIPE YOUR PHONE COMPLETELY!!!)
It's been two weeks, and no issues since running the RUU.
I personally would recommend skipping the trial and error & just go for the RUU.
You can download the RUU here:

Good Luck!

Hi, I don't know if anyone else had experienced these problems, but I'm having strange sense force closes every time I restart the phone. It gives me time to put the sim card and screen passwords, works for about 30 more secs and then f**ks up... Same thing happens over and over even after a factory reset, I've probably sent more than 10 reports to htc already. On top of that, today - two more things happened: the clock on the top right corner next to the battery icon just stopped at 1:57 although the screen one was working fine. It started working again after a restart (and another sense force close), and finally - when I turned on the WiFi, the 4g icon didn't disappear, so now I have both icons in the notification bar...
I haven't tried to root it, neither have I unlocked the bootloader. It's the way I got it + several more apps. Anybody else having the same or similar issues?

Swap it out at tmo. You should still be in your 14 day return period.

First hour I had my phone it reset/reboot 4 times while I was playing with it. It was stock, didn't restore my backup from my Vibrant. After the 4th reset, I packed it up and decided to exchange it at Tmo. I then decided to do a factory reset. After that, the phone worked fine without any weird reboots. 3 days later, I downloaded the HTC software update. As soon as the update was done, I messed around with the phone and it reset twice on me. I exchanged it the next day. My new one works perfectly! Go exchange it!
I think I may have found the reason for the Sense force closes:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1183877
I was using Juice Defender Ultimate... Since the clock and the Wifi/4G icons are part of the Sense interface, perhaps this app is the reason for the other problems as well... What bugs me though is that my girl's Amaze is also running the same app with no problems whatsoever...
Ok. Problems I have encountered the 2 days I have used the phone:
Constant freeze. The first hour I used the phone it froze and rebooted 7 or 8 times.
Missing SocialLocation.apk. This caused a problem for the GPS in smart actions to work at all. Rooted phone and installed the app, and problem disappeared.
Tried to hard reset the phone because of all the rebooting problems. Guess what, on the first menu coming up where you can choose language, the phone froze and rebooted again. Now still it is constantly freezing and rebooting.
The freezing issues does not really have one specific app causing it. It can happen whenever doing whatever!
Anyone got a solution for this? Maybe a OTA update for Norwegian model?
Well, as my dad's phone is still fine as of now with not a single reboot in 2 days, I'd suggest you get in contact with your carrier and ask for a replacement. This seems to be a phone defect and you should be able to get your replacement easily. Be sure to not mention rooting and installing SocialLocation.apk though!!
You rooted and removed some files from the System, did you not?
OK, this is really weird - after getting the 4.2.2 update, my phone reboots itself every night, not 100% sure it's exactly the same time, but it's been while sitting in my pocket or on the table, not even in use. At first I assumed it was Zooper, which I had installed right after the update, but I disabled it yesterday and got the reboot again tonight.
I even checked my Tasker to make sure some auto-reboot profile hadn't installed itself!
Any hints about how to diagnose this? Do I have no choice but to remove apps one by one? Most of the apps I run are the same ones I run on my TF300 tablet which also has 4.2.2, so don't know if it could be an app.
Did it again tonight and it is the exact same time - 9:19pm It's also interesting is that this is about the time of day I did the update to 4.2.2 It's like some daily thing going on. It must be some new app applied by default by the update, I've disabled some of the obvious new apps.
Does anyone know if I do a factory reset will it go back to 4.1 (which worked fine for me), or will it stay at 4.1?

the Factory reset will erase all ur Apps and will stay in 4.2.2 ......
Looks like this update has really screwed up my phone. After a couple of more nights of trying to disable more apps, and trying to catch the error with logcat (nothing that makes any sense in the log, no error or crashes preceding the reboot) I decided to factory reset.
It rebooted again tonight, about 24 hours after the factory reset.
Also, intermittently now the power button will not suspend the phone, though I can hold it and reboot, I don't know any other way to put it to sleep.
Looking at the log some more, the only thing that gives any hint is that there was Location Services activity before the crash. Googling around about my problem showed there was a bug in Location Services early in 4.2 but the claim was that it was fixed. I guess tomorrow night I'll try turning off Location Services as well.

The update may have screwed up somewhere in the middle, you could try to re-ruu your phone or unlock the bootloader and flash a custom rom, also the thing about the power button not putting the phone to sleep or doing anything than reboot on long press happened to me on each and every custom rom and I never did any OTA, got my phone, unlocked bootloader and flash away from sense, my hboot is still the one that it came with, but for me that thing happens really randomly, like once every 1 or 2 weeks, and when that happens for me the volume buttons stop working also till reboot, I was thinking I was the only one facing it so I kinda decided not to talk about that as I saw no one say anything about it, but I am also one of those for who the phone turns off exactly when my phone goes to 6% battery whatever I do, on whatever rom I am and even in the recovery, so I was thinking that maybe vodafone modified something on it, that's an other reason I didn't say anything about the buttons becoming unresponsive...
So what I would recommend is to re-ruu your phone or go to a custom rom (or if none solves anything the phone may have some kind of hard brick).
Just to help out anyone else who ever has this problem.
It was not location services.
I can see clearly in two logs an HTC process crashing. This seems to cause a cascade that leads to reboot.
I contacted HTC tech support, they suggested I boot up in a recovery mode and try to wipe data cache. They were surprised to find that attempting to do that caused a reboot.
So as Ranomez suggests above, they want me to re-do the update with the RUU when they release it, which they said would be "soon" last weekend.
On the other hand, my battery life after this update is fantastic, so I've decided I can live with this to not have to worry about recharging by mid-afternoon!
I've seen similarISH issues but nothing like what I'm having happen... I'm sure its happened to someone but its now buried in the depths of the internet never to be seen again, So here we go.
I last night Flashed back from NC5 back to MK2 4.3 had no problems during this process that I could see, No Cache issues, no bricking, nothing.
Was able to Re-root my phone, all my root apps working just fine.
But today I noticed I had 2 missed calls and 1 VM. So I proceeded to call my VM and the phone call never went through and my phone seemed to slow way the hell down almost like when your RAM is filling on a PC or a memory leak in a game. It then Showed the call icon up in the notification bar about 10 seconds later and 10-15seconds after that it went away and went back dial a # screen in "phone".
One time I got "com.android.phone has stopped" but only 1 time. And i tried about 30 different fixes for that issue. That popup has only happened 1 time though.
And after all the fixes I still Cannot make phone calls.
I CAN TEXT NO PROBLEM THOUGH. Which from what i have read on most threads with people having this problem they cannot.
EDIT: Audio and video files are not working either... which I imagine is why i couldn't make a screen cap video showing the issue

Well maybe I'd try flashing the Non-hlos modem that corresponds to your bootloader ( nc5 ?? )
And if that doesn't help any or you've already tried that you may just be out of luck and have to Odin back to full NC5 then go back through that whole process. Just one of them things

I bought the Nubia Z5s a year ago when I was living in China for half a year. the phone worked fin for me until about last march. At that point the screen simply stopped working. I disregarded the phone for a while and started using my old HTC One X again.
About a month ago I ordered a new screen for the phone from china, and installed it. All went well, the phone turn on again nog problem. I turned the phone on for the first time last Sunday afternoon. Put the SIM card in on Monday morning at around 8 AM before I left for work (I did use the WiFi on Sunday to download apps and such).
At exactly the moment I turned on my SIM (phone and data) the phone gave an error message: "Unfortunately, SystemUI has stopped". It gives me the options OK and Report, but both options do not end the endless appearance of the message. After a few reboots, and switching back to Airplane mode I got the phone to work again. I then searched the internet, and it told me to delete my Cache Partition. Now I use Stock Mod (with google services) so I have no idea how to use CWM nor do I know how to boot this phone into recovery mode (tried a few combinations). So I just went into the Settings>Apps menu and started clearing specific app caches. That seemed to work, did not get the error again.
The next day, again around 8 AM the same thing happened. This time the message was more persistent, harder to get rid of. Took me a dozen reboots and connection top my laptop to clear the message. Wednesday, same thing happened, again around 8 AM. Tried updating to latest version of the software, worked for a day.
Yesterday (Thursday) again around 8 AM same message. This time it would not go away. tried for over 3 hours. Reboots, connecting to PC, the whole works. So I tried a factory reset (did not erase data) worked, again for a day. 8 AM this morgning (Friday). same error message. Not been able to get rid of it yet. So I am guessing there is some corrupt app or service running every day around 8 AM (not a big believer in coincidence ). Is there any way to find out what process is causing this error? Or does anybody know something else I can try?
EDIT: I am able to preform some actions on the phone between the OK clicking (about a tap/swipe per time)
Tried resetting phone with erasing phone data this time. Still didn't work. Now trying reset without installing Google Services Framework. Am trying to determine if the phone has a problem with my service provider.
