[Q] Extended battery not fully charging

I bought an extended battery for my TB (still unrooted) a few months ago and recently after charging it overnight I would get no more than 70% charge when I unplug it in the morning. I've tried turning off my phone and charging it for over 12 hours but it never seems to fully charge. Any suggestions on how I can increase this?
Thanks!

What kind of battery and where from? Seems like it may be a bad battery if you even tried charging it with the phone off for that long. My extended from VzW charged to 100% perfectly last night with the phone off.

It's the extended battery from verizon. I will take a walk to the verizon store and see what they can do about it.

What is this "Wi-Fi sharing" that drains battery?

Hello all,
I unplugged my fully recharged GSII last night and set the alarm for the morning and slept. I woke up in the middle of the night, about 2 hours since I unplugged the phone and realized that it only had 78% of battery.... I've had enough battery to use for 2 days without hooking it up..
I was quite shocked to see this... but then I saw this app called "wi-fi sharing" just draining the phone's battery. It drained it down so much that when I woke up in the morning the battery was down to 50%.
What IS this monster? I have it frozen at the moment..

Classic AT&T bloatware... It's some filesharing thing, it's different from wifi tethering...

tp dead battery while charging????

Hi, running cm9. Happy so far. Had a very odd issue last night. Plugged in my to to charge as I went to bed. Tonight (24 hrs later) I find the to bone dead, with the picture of a dead battery on the screen, I plugged it in again and got it to fire up, but the battery was at 1%. Now I am not 100% sure, but I am 99% sure the charger was plugged in and charging....anyone else run into this?

Did you apply the charging fix?
Thanks for the reply.
I applied the charging patch when I had alpha 0, but haven't since 0.5 and 0.6 came out. I guess I assumed they were included in those builds.
I have since installed battery moniter widget and betterbatterystats. Did the same routine last night as the night before, and of course, it was fully charged and ready in the morning. So I took it off the charger and set it on my counter...we'll see what it does through the day. Normally, it would lose a little charge, but nothing too major...

Battery Charging Issue?

Has anyone got the same problem where your L9 stop charging at 89% and start draining fast like hell, mine drop to 86 % in 2 minutes even when the charger is still connected. Battery recalibration seems didn't work. Charging while the phone is dead didn't work too. Any suggestions?
Yes, I plugged my P769 in the wall to charge at night. In the morning, it shows that the phone is 92% charged. Took the phone off the charger and didn't really use the phone much, but checked my phone about 7 hours later and it was down to 1% remaining. Charged it again last night, and it's showing 92% this morning. Seems like it does not charge after 92%. This happens only a couple of days ago, and I didn't tweak my phone in any way.

Battery charge after Pie update

Hi,
On Friday evening I've updated my H9 to Pie.
I always charge my phone during the night to have it ready for the morning.
On Saturday morning I found it at 98% of charge. I have rebooted it and put in charge another time. This time it raised 100%. During the day the discharge has been good.
This morning another time it was at 98%.
Why? Is it a protection for the battery or I have issues with Pie update? What I can do?
