Great work!
I restored stock firmware few weeks ago, but I have branded software. I have to consider installing Yours
I'm wondering if my old data will be compatible with Your version.

just got a g2 mini d620. it's got 4.2.2, but it seems that 4.4.2 stock is the way to go - where's a reliable source for a flashable zip?

as far as i know, this device has never had jelly bean... 4.4.something (kitkat) is what it was shipped with so the only options you have are either to flash cm12.1 (from kitkat!) or to update to official lollipop 5.0.2

my bad

oops - i had misread the version on the phone. so yes, i've got 4.4.2 now. i would, however, like to take control of it and have a ROM that i can flash fresh if something goes amiss. i suspect i don't need the additional features that 5.0.2 or cm12.1 have to offer, i'd just like zero crashes, no-lag and long battery life. what's your take - which ROM is the way to go? given its RAM is south of 1Gb, adding bells and whistles to the OS probably doesn't help.
the little i played with it so far, it seems ok, except i can't get titanium to install.

well, from what i experienced, the phone runns the smoothest if on cm12.1. both the lg roms are far worse in terms of design, performance and multitasking than cm. here, after some tweaks with the low memory killer i can actually run two apps at once (clash of clans, fb messenger) without either being killed constantly, which was surely not possible with the stock roms... and at battery life, lollipop is always bettrr than kitkat

maybe i'll do cm12.1, then. also - for that i can get an OC'able kernel, for stock there is none that i could find. your pointers much appreciated.
p.s. - i just noticed that the stock ROMs are ~1Gb, whereas cm12.1 is 260Mb - talk about bloatware!

Camera Recording Volume (decent level)
Hello,
I wonder if your camera app or even for snapchat has a ecent level of the volume recorded.
Because when I've tested every cyanogenmod 11/12 based rom, the were not recording a decent volume of the sound for shazam, snapchat, even the camera app didn't has done it's job...
So how is going with these ?
I came back on stock for two months now... after 7 months of being on cyanogemod
Which version of gapps use?
huge navbar , no problem !!
i just test this ROM for 4 hours and its pretty daily drive for me
and huge navbar is silly enough on togari , so i change the dpi to tabletUI i think (i put 280dpi on build.prop) and in return to normal
thank you for this great 5.1 ROM

Nice rom.
Bugs I've noticed:
App installer does FC, but right after it installs an app. Not a big deal.
Adaptive brightness is crazy. Blinks like a soviet bulb which is about to blow.

Hi, I was on Sony on rooted d6603_23.a1.a.0.690 customized bal_supersu xzdr2.8.3 using XZ dualrecovery
I have since then fastbooted a old ftf, re-rooted using giefroot v3 and ndrutils, then upgraded back to 23.1.a.0690 so now i am back to where i originally was. I tried the steps again to do a clean install for this rom via phiz tool recovery, but i got the same error that said it was not compatible with my z because it is leo.... so instead of rebooting the phone after this message, i decided to reflash a backup of the original software, and this time around i didn't lose any data.
Pac man is one of my all time favorite (coming from htc m8) roms!! i would definitely love this on my phone but i am clueless to what is going on ....
This Rom reminds me of the defeated Manny Pacquiao :'-(

This is the "Status 6" error... I don't know if it is the best solution but this is what I do:
Unzip the rom
Go to the updater-script in INF/com/google/android and delete the whole line starting from “assert(getprop(“ro.product.device”)…..“ The best is to use a script editor
Zip the rom
flasch
Be shure that you have the right rom for your device!

Only Upstream changes related to the Kernel and Device tree
I'm using it since yesterday and I'm very happy it . I have not found any single bug, and the ROM is really fast.
I like all the extra features it has compared to CM too.
I will see how battery life is, and maybe test with M5 kernel.
Thanks!
Is install if on locked bootloader?
Does it have the camera "fish eye" bug?

its a known bug. despite camera is working with rhine camera stack, Z3 has a different sensor. check the photo in attachment..
notice the lines (that should be straight) on the photo.
the good news is that cam is almost fixed on AOSP, with kernel 3.10.x ..

Okay, quick question guys. Is this what is required?
1) Flash stock JB ROM
2)Root
3)Back Up TA Partition/UL BL
4)Install recovery (any TWRP??)
5)Flash boot.img from zip
6)Gapss, reboot etc.
Will this work? Will I just flash SuperSU to get root after ROM installed?
Thanks

no need to flash JB...
* backup TA partition, and unlock bootloader.
* place the phone in fastboot mode.
* grab the boot.img from the latest build and: sudo fastboot flash boot boot.img
* grab latest TWRP for Z3 from here: http://www.infectedbuilds.net/downloads/z3/TWRP/
* flash TWRP: sudo fastboot flash recovery z3fotatwrpv4.img
* reboot into recovery.
* wipe/format /system /data /cache /dalvik.
* flash latest available build, and flash gapps.
* reboot and you're done.

you wont be able to root the Concept ROM that easily, unless you use a custom proper kernel for it. Sony introduced on Concept, verified boot security.. unrootable (unless like i said before) for now.
i would flash Sony stock .546, and then do steps i mentioned.
regards.
