Can somebody tell me what happened to my phone? It seems that i can't install any sony application such as Walkman or Whats New from apk or from sony update. If possible, i hope somebody can tell me how to fix it.. tq
Did you remove them from your device?
You can't reinstall them without them being preinstalled due to their nature of working

I downloaded the Full Xperia S ICS Walkman port fromXDA but still "ClearBass" is not working on my Xperia Mini Pro. Everything else is working fine. I have a non-rooted Xperia Mini Pro. Can someone suggest me how to make it work and give the apk file to me. Thanks in advance.
Also the background color in the Walkman player does not change even though in all the attached threads at XDA, it seems to work. Can someone please suggest me a fix for it? Thanks again..
You need root access to push the support files (lib,etc)..
Flash the zip file via CWM not just installing it as normal apk.
Root access will be required for a full port of the xperia s player to your phone,if u install it via the apk provided,it will be the minimal version of the whole application.

So i rooted it by Bin4ry method..
i want to know which all apps i can remove without causing any damage to my cell
if someone can please list all the removable apps
And am using ROOTEXPLORER for deleting apps also i want to know whether i have to delete .odex files also or not??

first of all am on the latest ics .54 firmware , i tried several roms but always get a bug or 2 which makes me get back to the stock

u can install cybershot on this rom, at first 4.7.2 then 5.7.2.
it s a fine costum ROM with latest media apps and without bugs, no need to unlock bootloader.
