You can always install xposed. There are many modules that can give you the option to do that and more. Such as APM+ and Gravity Box.

Right now It's not possible on Odex ROM as it requires framework edit. Use custom ROM OR Third party app like this It won't replace stock power menu but you can access power menu with apk shortcut.

Now, I'm not 100% or even 75% on this, but I believe I read somewhere for encryption to work properly you need to use a stock kernel or not be rooted? If not setup correctly on reboot, it wouldn't start and go into a bootloop.
Like I said, not positive, just putting that out there so can be aware there may be some further research needed before attempting.
Good luck and for future users benefit, if you find info or do get it working, just post a quick reply here so others can gain from you work!

Just turned encryption on, since I depends on it for security in case phone Lost. The good news it rebooted just fine and encryption is working without any problem.

Some of those apps may even run at boot and consume RAM and CPU. For this purpose I made a small very effective script and that will remove huge amount of applications. This script works on de-odexed and odexed ROMs and you can use it even for official Nougat ROMs after it is released , so this is ALL-IN-ONE solution.
I created the script when Marshmallow came out and I use it all the time without any problems.
* You can easily edit script and add character ' # ' to exclude certain APP from deleting

Script works great on latest nougat stock rom(Poland).As you said edit file with '#'if you don't want an application deleted.Very good.

Your phone must be rooted just install zip with TWRP and reboot that's all.If you want to keep some apps that are on the script just unip the script with root explorer and use text editor to enter '#' on the apps you don't want deleted save changes,rezip and flash with TWRP.

Not really improve performance but dramatically increases battery life for me but there are some bugs like "ok google" Only works in google app :/

fixed by holding the settings icon in the quickpull settings. i had animations disabled so it was not working. make sure to enable animations in order to activate this.

yes its like that.. but have more tweaks than spectrum..
App resets my animation. I turn off my windows animation. But the app resets it. I tried balanced, then pressed home. But couldn't open the app again. Had to forceclose and open again.
