[Q] Quick Charge and Wireless? - Galaxy S6 Edge Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I can plug a Qualcomm 2.0 USB quick charger into my S6 Edge and it says "fast charging" in the notification. If I then put it down on my wireless charging pad, the pad indicates it is also charging. Is there any chance this could be speeding up the charge vs. USB alone?

Quick question: Wireless charging and plug in at same time....

Would charging the phone via a micro usb fast charging adapter PLUS placing it on top of a wireless charging pad, make it adaptive faster charging? lol
Yes it gives you the 2x the charging. Should reduce The charging times by half, if not more, with Samsung's fast charge adapter.
We will always choose one and will not use the two at the same time, he will use the USB charging instead the wireless charging

no you can't. I think if you put it on the wireless charger when USB, it will just charge via usb.

Which S7 Edge fast charger do I get for the car?

I have an official Samsung "Adaptive Fast Charging" plug for home (model EP-TA20UWE).
On the plug itself, it shows: 9.0V @ 1.67A and 5.0V @ 2.0A.
It works fine and my phone shows "Fast Charging" when it's connected to it.
The equivalent official Samsung "Adaptive Fast Charging" for the car appears to be the ACADU10CBE but that only shows: Input: 5V 700mA / Output: 4.2V.
Is this the correct product I need?
That won't do, just get a quick charge 2.0 charger like this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Qualcomm-C...67637441&sr=1-9&keywords=car+quick+charge+2.0

Wireless Charging Pad not working anymore. Cycles Colors

So, I've been using the Samsung Fast Wireless Charging Pad since launch of the N8. Just now, it doesn't charge my phone. I unplug and plug the cable and I see that the LED on the charger cycles from Blue to Green to Cyan. Anyone have an idea whats going on? Is it dead? I know Cyan mean it's plugged to a low voltage charger...but the lights don't stay lit.
Have you tried a different Samsung Fast charger adapter? When using the Samsung Fast charger adapter on your Note 8 does Note 8 say "Fast Charging" or low power charging? It maybe your current Samsung Fast charger adapter failing.
Have you tried a different cable?
Or it could be lower current on that AC wall outlet.

Hmm. tried all those suggestions. Still nothing happened...but, just out of the blue...tried again just now...and it's working. Maybe some software glitch?

Question Charging status advice

Hi All,
Not sure what the deal is with the charging status on this device.
Plug in, says super fast charging, then a second later switches to 'charging'.
Tried different cables & chargers and similar behaviour, 'fast charging' (using a different brick) then immediatley just 'charging'.
Do I need some power/cable accessory, or is it actually charging at a fast speed, it tells you briefly then just generically displays charging?
Bit confused, lol, cheers!!
It just show this way but it is using fast charging anyway. If you will use bad charger and cable you will get notification Cable charging. So we have Cable charging, fast charging, super fast charging 2.0 and then they fall to just charging.
Thanks for clarifying
