No there isn't true root

It's temproot on the Note 4 and kingoroot/kingroot doesn't work on 4.4.4 or 5.0

Well it was worth a shot I guess for the guys with out root

I quick search would have yielded this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=60702414
Searching before posting is rule #1 on XDA having two threads on the same thing serves no purpose purpose.

After u root it successfully, upgrade to twrp from cmwr. Install Jamie's JB ROM and you'll be good to go.
Thanks guys. Idk what my friend did but he completely bricked his phone. Wont even turn on.

I'm guessing it's because you're on the LL4 OTA which patched the exploit. Follow the guide in development.

In the future please search for an answer before asking. This gets asked all the time.
Now to answer you question rooting and unlocking to flush a custom ROM is the easiest way. You can do it without, but you have to mod every app that you want yourself

Yes also it's important to tell us the build number (or at least last digits) because we have two official builds and both are 4.1.1

its ll4
it says ll4
its super simple to root it and flash and I think thats your best bet for having all your apps multiwindow'ed. I had my doubts (only rooted once before and had a tricky process) but its really simple this time around. Just DL some files click a few buttons and your done in under 5 mins. I'm too lazy to find links and whatnot but if you are genuinely interested I can at least send you some stuff on how to root your phone.
Just follow this guide to root unlock and flash a ROM. It's the best walk through around

Verizon 4.4.2 Update Possibly May 2nd

Android Geek just posted today about a leaked memo they received from one of their readers. The leak shows the update rolling out May 2nd. *Fingers Crossed*
Here's the article: http://www.android.gs/android-4-4-2-kitkat-update-to-roll-out-soon-for-verizon-samsung-galaxy-s4/
Do you not want to install the 4.4.2 we already have? It works great!

Did you read through? All of the cameras in that post are compatible with all models, just not all ROMs, as far as I know. You really should do more reading instead of expecting others to do all of the work for you.

There's nothing wrong with asking for help, but you really should read into the camera thread more before asking, as all of the answers you seek are there.
