Just applied this to IronROM 2.0 T700 (deodexed ROM) and now the tablet is in a constant boot loop. I've tried every way I can to get it into recovery mode but can't !
Help! Guess I need to reflash stock ROM but how can I do that without getting download mode?
Update:-
It does go into download mode - phew!
Currently Re flashed TWRP with root via Odin, Its started without root! so rom is ok, must be dodgy recovery, any thoughts?

Unable to enter into TWRP Recovery Mode

Firstly I rooted my S3 for the first time & flashed using TWRP to Galaxy S5 Mini Custom Rom. And then because the rom is too laggy for me, I decided to revert to the original stock rom. As I did not have a backup, I specifically went online to download the official stock rom 4.3 @ sammobile (right one). I flashed the official stock rom by download mode using ODIN IN MY PC. Everything went well, phone works perfectly for everything. But now the issue is, I am unable to go into TWRP recovery mode even though I have re-rooted my phone/installed recovery tools from playstore after I have flashed the official stock rom, I was wondering could the main reason be that I did not un-root my S3 first before flashing the official stock rom via ODIN. Could this be soft brick?
Thank you for your time.

Flash twrp again with odin this should solve your problem you will need the openrecovery-twrp-2.7.0.0-i9300.tar version here >> http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/i9300 <<
Never ever use rom manager with a Sammy device. Risk of loss of recovery or brick is high.

G920F soft bricked

Hello
I have had a look around the forum and i can't seem to find my answer.
I tried to install CrissCross 6.01, all was good untill it got stuck in a boot loop due to an issue with the kernal. I can't get into recovery and wipe the device.
I have tried to use a stock rom, but would i be correct in saying that because the boot loader has been updated to 6.0 I can't use a 5.1.1 recovery?
I have been trying to fix this for 3 days now with no luck, if anyone has any idea what i can do I would really appreciate it.
Thanks
Stuart

I can get into download and that is where I have tried a few different stock Roms
The error I get is SV Rev. Check Fail Device : 3 Binary :1 in Odin and from my understanding that is because I'm trying to use a rom that is trying to downgrade the boot loader
I think I need a 6.0 stock rom for this to work but I are t sure
Edit one more thing that confuses me is it will let me flash a 5.1.1 twrp but it still won't let me into recovery.
Thanks
Have you tried to flash bootloader / kernel via Odin?
Try to flash older TWRP, also, via Odin then try to flash 5.1.1.
I'm not 100% sure but I doubt you can flash 5.x.x ROMs from newest TWRP.
Try few things with older recovery and kernel, that shoud wake the device.
As long as you can access download mod you can save your device.

Thanks for the reply.
I have only flashed twrp in download mode not touched any kernels. I thought you could only flash a kernel I twrp that's why
Do you have any suggestions as to which kernel and twrp ?
I had same problem yesterday..
I flashed CrisCros ROM for S6 edge and bump into bootloop.
I just restarted device to download mode, flash kernel via Odin (in BL) and all went well.
You have kernel in OP of CrisCross ROM, that's 6.0.1 kernel, flash it and twrp via Odin, restart to recovery and flash ROM.
That should be enough and your device should boot.
You see, there's no bricked device as long as you can flash, fastboot or sideload something to you device..

Can't go back to 5.1.1 from 6.0.1 - won't boot after recovery

I tried to go back to 5.1.1 via my TWRP backup.
Everything seems to go okay but the phone goes blank after a few seconds of splash screen when trying to boot into my restored 5.1.1 for the first time.
I managed to get into download mode and flashed 6.1.1 again so not a disaster.
Anyone know why it won't boot after restore?
you can't go back to 5.1.1 via TWRP because of bootloader etc. if you want to go back flash your 5.1.1 rom with odin...

Thanks. I did wonder if it was a bootloader issue. If I dirty flashback to 5.1.1 will my settings survive?

So try Odin & in n 90% of the cases it should work. If it doesn't, if you can still unlock your bootloader, do so & flash TWRP. Then flash this rom + kernel. It should work

I can't root my phone

i rooted my infinix note 7 successfully first time v338
then i flashed boot_ori.image and boot to unrooted system , all good.
But when i tried to root it same way again, it won't work anymore. once flash magisk_boot.img, only reboot to fastboot.
Any one can help ?
Thanks a lot
