I am very much intrested in Android Modding and theme development. I am working a a Theme that can change whole interface of a phone. but editing png's is not enough. I need to port some applications in order to have a more better mod. Can somebody help to teach me android app porting. Im sure with only a few instructions I can learn it easily. hey guys, i want to edit the settings.apk of my rom to add an option for the onscreen navigation buttons. Could someone please guide me on how i can do this? my rom is based on cm10 (JB). please help me out, i have been trying to accomplish this for the past 2 days.
The dialer and the contacts were easy, but I always get stuck on the phone.apk.
I think the phone.apk FCs on install because of sense's framework.
I tried to ask the developers of ICS Nonsense who succeeded in porting it, but I could not post a reply because of my member rank.
(I am developing for the HTC X515E (local), so I do not post on XDA.)
Which part of the framework should I mix or replace for the stock phone.apk to work?
