I'm Porting MIUI for our N7505 using patchtool method, if everything go well i will make a N750 version too but i will need a copy created by patchtool of the system.
Now i'm creating and setting up all the necessary files i need.
if someone want to help i will appreciate.
what do you think it will be a good base for porting the rom?

I think note 2 would be a good base because same resolution, both exynos processor.....

Cause the zip with them is about 500 MB....
But this is the minor problem i have....the great difficulty for me is to compiling the updater-script...i'm not so expert on that...

I was planning to make a new kernel for the phone. Just the stock barely modified, to try overclock. If you already did a kernel compatible with the stock firmware I would appreciate, as I still need to format my computer, setup a linux, etc... and I'll need some time to be able to do it

Really cool. I wanna install this on my S5310B but it says it still has some problems like video recording not working and some apps force closing. :silly: I'll wait a few more weeks, maybe more time until it becomes an official CM ROM and those problems are fixed. I'll let the folks at CM Device Requests know about this. I want more support for it. :highfive:

this site is not a shop where you can just demand cm or kitkat devs will take aome time as building kitkat is difficult give them some time you just cant demand kitkat as I said if you are so hasty then learn to build it yourself through aronio guide

Short answer : No !
Long answer : MIUI has support for XDHPI and XXDHPI and our device is LDPI so we can't build it for galaxy star GT-S5282 ..
Note : we can do it if we exclusively made LDPI for MIUI then we will be able to build MIUI for it .
Well okay! as far as i have researched that MIUI 5 Works on LDPI devices check it out pls.
AND can we ever expect MIUI for our galaxy Star?

Don't worry Grand 2 developement is not dead. Nor is the TW MM port project.
A tree never dries up just cuz it lost a big branch. But yes the Grand 2 developement will be effected as we just lost probably the best developer we had
