Hey guys I'm currently on Eclipse based on 4.4.2 (12b) after getting the phone about a month ago. I'm rooted and have twrp installed. Do I need to flash a stock lollipop or can I just dl skydragon/jasmine based on lollipop and flash directly from twrp? Thanks in advance!

#2, can just flash Jasmine directly. I haven't read SkyDragon's OP, so whatever it says, I haven't flashed SkyDragon but it's probably set up the same way as Jasmine.
great thanks! what's the best way to keep my apps?
LG stock ROMs for our phone have an LG Backup service in Settings / Backup & Reset. It works great and is even faster than Titanium Backup. When I run stock, I don't even use Titanium Backup any more but TB is still a lifesaver for non-stock.

Hi all, I recently installed CyanogenMod with TWRP but didn't make a backup of stock. My phone is rooted. In preparation of the stock kitkat update I would like to reinstall the stock ROM. Where can I find it and the radio package? Are there any special steps aside from just flashing the ROM with TWRP?
Thanks in advance.

You can't flash AOSP roms on MK2/Safestrap, only TW (TouchWiz) based roms matching your current stock version (4.3).
thanks Oishi,
Can I flash back to an older stock rom that is not safestrap?

No, once you're on Stock MK2 you're locked to MK2 and have no other options than safestrap.

Here is a somewhat current list of compatible SS Roms
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2630040
Also check page 1 in the Android Development section; There are a few new ones that look tempting such as BajaRom for TW
Check out Eclipse 3.0 for an AOSP feel with TW compatibility.
Sorry that I haven't been keeping up with the latest developments in bootloader unlocks, roots, recoveries, etc.
I'm on stock rooted deodexed 4.1.2 with unlocked bootloader and a probably now ancient TWRP. What is the best way for me to get to stock rooted deodexed 4.4.2? I don't see any guides for this sort of thing here. Thanks in advance.

i just received my phone from getting sboot downgrade at mobiletech videos... it was on 4.1.2 also. download the twrp manager app in playstore. update to 2.8.1 ( i think thats the recommended one for some AOSP roms) flash the new version. reboot. download whatever 4.4.2 rom. make sure its rooted and knox is removed. move to sd card. boot to recovery & install. if you have wifi issues you'll need to flash MJ9 firmware. and firmware only. or you'll lock your bootloader. some say you can flash via recovery but odin is what most recommend. i went from 4.1.2 to 5.0.1 w/o having to do the firmware update and i dont have any radio or wifi issues. good luck

Check this thread. http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-e/general/backup-lollipop-5-1-soak-test-t3144162
It's really simple, and as you already have TWRP, you don't need anything extra. But still, make a backup of your current rom.

Hi all.
First of all, I'm newbie on this, so be patient. I tried to flash CyanogenMod on my Honor 5X (KIW-L23), but did not perform the upgrade to MM. Now I have CM 12.1 (Lollipop) but I can't install CM 13 (MM) or any MM based ROM.
How can I upgrade to MM?
Thanks in advance!
restore a twrp backup of stock rom, flash stock recovery and update to MM, or flash stock rom and update

Use huawei update finder for stock, if you have already tried the normal method to wipe then flash the rom and it didn't work then I don't know any other methods to update
Firmware finder is ur good frn now
