I was reading the thread about hulu plus coming to the Flyer. I did a market search, not there. I manually installed the apk - it loads up and i can browse and stuff but can't playback video. Is there a way to enable?
Thanks.
You have to subscribe I believe

I got it to work for me with HC, but I had to enable ads (undo the no-ads). The Hulu app won't load the videos if it cannot load the ad.
I am running on the HC FlyHoney rom.

How did you do that? Enabling Ads?
With the flyhoney Rom and perhaps other custom roms there is some sort of ad blocker installed. So what I did was install a app from the market called adfree. I reblocked all ads and then disabled the ad blocking. After I did that then a commercial played before the video and then the video played fine.
The only issue that I have had with my sideload of this app is that the search functionality crashes the app.
What apps do you always install right away after you get a new phone or after you just installed a new rom?

Firefox beta. I use the chrome bookmark widget tho.

Opera was the best on the phone, but its tabled UI is a bit weird.
1) Resolution needs to be rescaled, because now its tiiiiny
2) And I really want tabs
But speed wise it is very good
QQ Browser or Boat Browser. The best two alternatives IMO.
Faster, more stable, and no early development bugs/glitches.

Same, nor do I see all the stuttering most people mention lol. Then again, I'm not browsing webpages most of the time on my N10 anyway
Firefox works great
Dolphin w/ Jetpack is my favorite...but Chrome is not giving me any issues either.
Gotta say the AOSP 4.2 browser is by far my favorite. Loving it!
how do i install 4.2 aosp browser on the n10?
edit: forget it, i got it.
if someone else needs it: here is a german description, just use the google translator but it should be self explanatory http://www.mobiflip.de/nexus-4-aosp-browser-aus-android-4-2-nachruesten-root/
I am using Firefox. With the add ons, I was able to get an ad blocker without having to root the device, and it so far has not complained on any sites with Flash content. It is very fast and well organized for tablet.

+1 for dolphin + jetpack
it scores higher than chrome on html5test.com
chrome has stutters when scrolling
I'd say that boat browser is the best alternate browser.

+1 Ocean browser is the best!
Ocean browser really is the best. I was sold on Dolphin + JetPack before I tried Ocean, but Ocean really does beat it pretty handily.
It regularly gets under 800ms in Sunspider, is as smooth at scrolling/zooming as the iPad, supports flash, and doesn't have any of the weird glitches and quirks that Dolphin + Jetpack has. The only thing that's somewhat lacking is the GUI, which is a bit dated and ugly looking. I always keep it full screen though and just use the quick menu, which is beautiful.
Ocean browser is hands down the best imo. Went back and forth between that and dolphin for a while but ocean is way better.

I need Google Chrome browser for Android 2.3(.6). Thanks!

I think it's not possible. You should use the stock one instead. Or download Opera or Boat Browser, they are pretty good.
The Chrome browser is only compatible with Android 4+. It requires elements of the framework that do not exist in earlier versions.
I have changed Opera Beta (looks like Chrome but takes long for start up of the app) so that the name is Chrome Beta, and the icon is the old Chrome Beta icon.
Edit: Pm me for link, or reply for me to just post here. Subscribed.

Here is another app I've been using for a while. and wanted to share with you. As you know, samsung used to include a popup browser in previous Note versions but no longer includes it in later versions. This app does provide an alternative Popup Browser using the stock browser. So basically, when you open a link for example in twitter app, you choose Popup Browser and it will launch the stock browser in a popup window with the requested web link. As simple as that..
Just install the app. There is no launcher icon but when you open a web link from third-party apps, you will see Popup Browser as one of the options. Just select it and keep browsing.
NOTE: This app does not have the INTERNET permission nor does it have ADS or analtytics so your browsing privacy is maintained.
Thanks works great
