– Ensured the lock screen / notification bar doesn’t indicate “no service” when the device has coverage
– Added a Sony feature; bringing back the “close-all-button” in the activity menu, so you can easily close all apps at once
– Unblocked devices with server policies (such as Exchange Active Sync for e-mail), to enable the new Lollipop lock-screen notifications
– Ensured the LED light is lit across all sound modes – and no longer offset by “silent”
– Made the necessary fixes to enable the easy movement of content from internal memory to external microSD card (something we saw affecting a few devices)
– Improved messaging functionality in Ultra stamina mode – some conversations could not be opened before in Ultra stamina mode
this is official changelog but there are also new things not mentioned in changelog above. For example new version of Xperia Home Launcher with big icons (same as Z3/Z2), new system sounds, and fixed libs for Walkman.
And btw Kingroot method is working just fine with .270

270 is not widespreading like 242 yet. Guess Sony allows Z owners to update first then us. I'll just wait then.
PS: can anybody explain how to mount system as r/w with KingRoot? It seems that i can't do it on first try hence no other app can be replaced even with KingRoot installed. Any ideas?

I apologize. Libs are not fixed only more messed up, so bug with no bass after turning equalizer on is still present.

Can we search for FLAC files in walkman/music now?
Does tapping the alarm icon in the notification panel open the alarm app now?
does the 'close all' button terminate processes, or does it just remove them from the list?
can we change all volumes (notification and media) from the same panel?
can we go to silent without needing to press the button in the notification panel, just by the volume down key?

Also Walkman no bass bug is not fixed and move apps2SD not fixed either, so this update is "cosmetic" not bug fixing.
