Hello guys sry if I'm in the wrong section
I searched everything on the web for a rom or anything related to a rom for the LG L4 ( E440) and I finally found something but we have a problem.
Someone on the web posted an official Android 4.4.2 rom for the LG L4,and by the comments it's working.
Only problem is he made the rom in 3 parts and for every part you need to do a survey.My problem is that in my land I cant do survey so yeah

its spam .. official firmwares have no surveys so its scam ..
there is no kk for l4
and will not be for a while as its Chipset is Mediatek MT6575 (very low dev support) also its not a popular phone (closest to it would be L5 II and that was released before yours and there is no proper cwm or any rom's)
IF YOU OWN THIS PHONE MODEL ASK ADMINS TO ADD IT TO THIS SUB-FORUM AS ITS HARDWARE IS NEARLY SAME TO L5 II

It's a scam. You have the exact same page for other devices with name changes.
Unfortunately, there's no alternative ROM for the L7 II series.

Hi everybody, my mother bought this tablet samsung galaxy player 4.2 yp-gi1cw/xax a few years ago, she was playing untill she almost run out of battery, after that we try to charge it but it doesn´t, It stops on the battery charging and when you try to turn it on It stops on the samsung logo the It goes to a black screen and again to the samsung logo and on an on... so I´d like to know if there is a solution, the tablet is the galaxy player 4.2 yp-gi1cw/xax 8gb, I don´t know if this is the US or the International model (I read these posts http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1884071 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1715461).., thanks for your time an great work, and sorry for my english...

When I download the stock ROM and kernel, the file size is 265,587KB on the stock ROM and 5,319KB on the kernel but when you go and try to unzip it, there is nothing to unzip? and if you use 7zip it says the password, xda-dev or XDA-DEV is wrong and wont open.
And the custom ROM links to a dead page.
Why can't these important files be kept on the same server (xdadevelopers) that has all this good useful information but no way of using it due to broken links to the important stuff in the articles.

+1 on this. I get a 404 on the "ROOTED STOCK ROM" link at the top of this thread (as well as the mirror listed by ECLK09) .
@alice90 , I'm sure you're busy with other things, but I would love to know if these files still exist somewhere.
Maybe even more to the point, does anyone know if there is an available KitKat (or higher) ROM for the YP-GI1 ?

I'm almost sure that Lollipop will be released, because LG just started the roll-out for the L90, which has the same G2 mini hardware and has been released in the same period.

Hi, I 'm writing this because a few days ago I bought a Smartphone Chinese brand Yuandian , the phone comes with jelly bean 4.2 and I would like to upgrade to 4.4 minimum , and try to update it in Settings but it tells me that I have already updated , unable to do that I searched this cell roms online but found none , If anyone can help me with this I would greatly appreciate it , thanks in advance .
