Hi all,
I just flashed latest nightly CM12.1 for Xperia Z2 Tablet, however all my apps, screen, etc everything is in phone mode. That means apps like telegram only use 1/3th of the screen en the slider with all the settings is in the middle of the screen instead right top. I've been trying different launchers/settings to correct this, but couldn't fix it so far. Is this a bug in the rom? I already wiped everything and redownloaded and reinstalled everything.
Thanks!

Weird.. CM12.1 works flawlessly for me.
Perhaps it would help to post some screenshot...

I tried changing the font with font changer. When it turned back on, the touch screen was unresponsive. The tab would keep restarting itself, and when it booted to the lockscreen it would just stay unresponsive until it restarted again. I got into recovery and wiped data, cache, and dalvik and installed another rom (I was using AOKP M4 and tried going back to Build 26). About a minute after going through the gapps setup, the screen became unresponsive and the looping started again as usual. I tried going to M4, Build 26, and Build 27 countless times and wiped those three things repeatedly but I always get the same result. What do I do?
You simply flash the 3.2 stock first to wipe everything, no need for pit file.
When you're done with that, then install the m4.
ahh thank you, all good now.
You're welcome Kudos!

Work's all the time, quite the distraction, because truth be told, we like big guns, if you know what I mean
Hi. This is first time I rooted and changed something to my phone's core system. I bootloaded through Flashtool and got in the newest kernel, ROM and GApps from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1613017 and my baseband is 77 (http://www.mediafire.com/?1oyztnqww22bgek). Things looked fine and my system was working as it should. But soon I was starting to see these bugs:
Screen moving from left to right and back at recovery menu on vol up/down press. Not a big bug though, still possible to work with the menu and read the text.
No lockscreen. Tried all the lockscreen options at settings, but power button still just turns the screen on and off. I can only see the lockscreen right after I reboot my phone and before I enter the PIN, the wheel works as I've set it but then I can't get into the lockscreen anymore.
Strange menu button functionality. Firstly, when I was in the home screen and pressed the menu button, a menu with system settings popped up. Now nothing happens, for both HW and SW buttons. Since the time it worked I was just messing with settings but I'm sure I didn't disable anything like that.
Browser and Google Play not working, Play says RH-01 error, browser just crashes. GMail works.
Tilt not working properly. It did after the fresh install, but now it works only for menus, not for homescreen like it did before. I've tried running a widesecreen-only game but it's being displayed in normal, portrait mode- with errors. Enabling/disabling the tilting didn't help.
And I believe that there are more bugs I didn't mention. I did everything as told in this article http://www.theandroidsoul.com/aokp-xperia-neo/, just with getting the newest links instead of the ones provided. I installed the Hallon version of AOKP and I was running GB 2.3.4 before, if that helps. And like I said- I am doing it for the first time so I am quite new to these things, so firstly sorry if I didn't mention anything important and please describe the steps about how to fix it a little bit more detailed. Thanks!
Hi..
That ROM is legend sometimes ago,and dont have problems like you said.
The step I did was like this :
1. Flash full firmware ICS(.ftf file)with flashtool.
2.Flash kernel
3. Flash ROM
4. Flash Gapps
5. Flash Add-on if any
Enjoy
Sent from my Xperia Neo V
MT15i_4.1.B.0.587_Global.ftf ICS firmware and hallon kernel flashed through Flashtool, then rebooted into system. Then in revocery I wiped cache, dalvik and reseted to factory, installed the newest AOKP ROM, installed GApps, booted into system. My screen is still moving from sides as the screen refreshes in recovery. But after booting, still the same issues persist...
Inside the old recovery, screen dancing is known issue, try Flash other kernel,no harm changing kernel.
Can you provide,Aokp ROM version and kernel you have..

AOKP Hallon JB Milestone 1
I tried the CM10.1 and my recovery menu fixed but the bugs weren't fixed, so then I flashed the CM10 and my recovery menu changed again, now with black background and again, fixed animations. But then my device bricked so I flashed again the MT15i_4.1.B.0.587_kernel.ftf.
Couldn't you just send me links to a working combination of kernel-firmware with AOKP? The requirements says I need baseband 72/77, do you have any links or tips for these? I've tried several combinations but just none really worked, now I am on stock laggy JB 4.0.4 and I have no idea what to try now...
Hi there,
after accidentially doing a factory reset in bootloader, i had to set up my device from scratch.
My configuration:
Device: Moto G (2013) XT1032
Bootloader: 41.18 (sha-99084d5, 10/29/2014 23:54:18)
Recovery: TWRP 2.8.7.0
ROM: CM13 Nightly from 03/01/2016
Gapps: Open Gapps Mini from 25/12/2015
Everything worked fine, until I made a backup in TWRP. I rebooted, and after the android boot logo disappeared it ended on a black screen with only the status bar and "back-button" on the bottom right showing up. Restoring didn't change anything, as well as clearing data/cache/dalvik-cache. Flashing the same rom over the existing configuration did work, but only for about 1 day.
I made a new backup and this time, system started regular. But the next day during normal use, the home button suddenly stopped working, and after rebooting, i got the same issue (black screen with only status bar and back button). Again, neither restoring backup didn't resolve the issue, nor flashing the same rom. This time, clearing data brought me back a working system (but without apps, manual settings, etc).
Did anyone experience the same issues or got a hint what could be wrong?
Not the backup imo... :/

bug with cm maybe ???
I have exactly the same issue here.
But the back button is in the left side.

You're right! I was never really good at distinguishing left and right.
So has anyone an explanation for this issue? I would like to update my CM13 to a newer nightly, but don't want to waste a half day if the same issue happens again...
The LED notifications stopped working since I updated to OOS 3.x (MM 6.0.1) a couple of months ago.
Before that, everything was fine with LED.
LED only works when charging (red, green when fully charged), so the problem is not on harware side.
On Settings / Sound & Notifications / App Notifications all apps have LED notifications selected.
Also, I have tried to install a 3rd part app to activate LED notifications and I have granted it notifications access, but still nothing.
My bootloader is unlocked, and few days ago I have flashed TWRP recovery and SuperSu, but the problem was present also when the phone was fully stock (except that for the bootloader unlocked).
I couldn't find any solution other than attempting wipe data or factory reset :crying:
Any other suggestion?
Thank you.

Did you try mega unbrick guide?
Give it a try.

I am suggesting it because once I had broke my all sensors by flashing experimental build of ROM and flashing stock and other ROM didn't helped me so I followed mega unbrick guide and fortunately all sensors are working after that..Give it a try.

Thank you.
The problem is that the mega unbrick solution wipes all data, and I would like to avoid this.
Also, led is not "frozen" all the time: it works when charging, only led notifications are disappeared [emoji28]
Anyway....I'll consider your suggestion as my last chance [emoji6]

I had the exact same problem with 3.1.3. To fix I went to extreme measures and wiped everything clean. Then went up the latter flashed 2.2.3 followed by 3.1.3. I believe somewhere along the lines of flashing something got broken. Work of advice if your going to do it this way use the old stock recovery. Or you will end up like the lost sould under helpme section.

Thanks.......very extreme measure, maybe even too much extreme to me [emoji28]
But, if I don't have any other solution, sooner or later I'll proceed with a clean installation from the scratch.

I eventually found by chance a workaround to my problem.
It only works for rooted OPX with Xposed framework.
By installing Custom Slider Xposed module and adding the [Notification LED] / [Allow LED to Glow] action to each of the three [Slider Position Mapping] settings the LED notifications magically have started working again
Hey,
so I recently got the P9000 and I am very happy with it in General. There is just one big Problem, I am very used to Cyanogenmod on all my devices so I tried installing it in this phone, everything worked fine except for the microphone and the Speaker, Calls go through but I cant talk neither hear anything. Everytime I Start the phone it also says AudioFX was shut down. I also Tried listening to music or any sound for that matter but nothing works. I then installed the Stock ROM and everything works like a charm so I can rule out a Hardware issue. But the Stock ROM is just not cutting it for me in terms oft usability and options and I would much rather switch back to CM. Tried it again yesterday, clean install and everything, Microphone and Speaker are not working.... Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this? Any help greatly appreciated.

First of all thank you for the tip, in the meantime I installed Android 7 beta to have a look at it. Is there any way to go back to Stock ROM on Android 6 so I can install CM13 Final Build 3? I have tried flashing Recovery and STOCK ROM via SP Flash but it won`t work. I click Download, connect the phone while pressing the Vol+ and it says Downloading, goes up to 100% but the red bar is still there, then nothing happens. Every Flash of Stock or CM Recovery I did before that worked just fine so I guess it has something to do with Android 7. If there is no way I guess I`ll stick with Android 7 for now but I´d rather switch to CM.
There is a way...it has to do with the Android...it changes the preloader and the boot partition. Take this file from deepflex: https://yadi.sk/d/40K4mWLauUddk and flash with sp-tools. Finally flash the TWRP-Recovery from Jonny with flashtools. At the end do a full wipe and install the cm13.1 (Final 3) and the opengaaps.
Got it to work, I used a slightly different approach but right now I am finally installing CM13 Final Build 3, lets see if it works out fine! Thanks again for your help :good::good:
