Its possible to make some script/app to use option 'blocking mode' by double press power button?
Or maybe already exist ?
I would pay for this.

Is there a way to choose which buttons are disabled when the power is off? I'd like to use a hack to enable the PPT button but have all the other button disabled...

Hi, could someone help me, please?
My phone is not rooted and I want to unlock my phone using long press home button.
I had it on my old phone, but there's not that option in settings.
Is there any app, that could do stuff like this?
I have tried button remap apps but there's no "unlock" or "wake up" option for long press action.
Hi,
My phone frequently goes into silent mode due to accidental long press of the shortcut button (left side physical key) which is very annoying. Furthermore, I have lost many important calls.
I already disabled the shortcut button but the long press function is still putting my phone into silent mode.
Is it possible to disable or remove long press function of the shortcut button?
Thanks in advance.
I have the same problem. Must be a function

I got a simple solution:
Just install an app volume lock (you can find in google play store).
When you lock a volume, pressing a key won't change the volume of sound.

This method not working, anybody know how to disable left button? xposed additions not working too for me :/
The title says all, fact is that I find pretty irritating that the power button doesn't do the only thing it should do, any way to fix it? Maybe I'm missing something in the settings?
I use it for "ok google".
To turning off the phone instead, I resolved using Macrodroid app ((( https://play .google. com/store/apps/details?id=com.arlosoft.macrodroid&hl=en_GB ))) and set a button widjet on screen (or on the collapse title o wherever you want) with when I trigger it star action "power options". Working without root certified.
Done
Settings > Additional Settings > Power Button > Press and hold power button > Power Menu
So if the phone is locked, anyone without the password or proper authentication can turn on the phone then hold the power button and shut it down.
Other phones ask you to unlock the phone in order to do that so that unauthorized people can't mess with your phone.
Any help on how I can secure my device?
Thanks
It's very standard behaviour in Android phones, long press of the power button shows up the power menu with the usual "Power off" , "Reboot" and "Emergency" even if the phone is locked.
Double press the power button also usually open the default cam app (and anyone can take pics without even unlocking the phone)
If you want to disable this you can go to the settings and disable the long press power off option and the double press option
: Settings -> Advanced -> Smart Key : Disable double press and Disable press&hold
But be aware if you disable the press&hold option the only way to reboot the Zenfone 9 will be from Power icon located in the bottom right of the completely expanded notifications panel
Also if you hold power + vol down for 12s (short is screenshot) it will do a force reboot. There is a combination for almost all android phones to do this
