I have purchased 2 Moto T505( one for me and one for my GF). Whenever we receive a phone call, the T505 rings its own ringtone along with the phone ringtone. How can i disable the Moto ringtone(ennoying ascending tone and keep my phone ringtone to ring only)
Thx a lot
Any help is appreciated
Thread title says it all
The ringtones which comes with ROMs working as they should. But when i set downloaded MP3 ringtone, it ring only once when phone have incoming call. Any one know how to fix these?
I found out a way. You just need to convert your (mp3 or whatever) tone to ogg and add this meta data to the file.
ANDROID_LOOP - TRUE
You can use this FREE program to convert your tone to ogg and add the required mete data

Hello fellow droiders,
February 2018 it was announced that Android Pie will add call recording tone support so calls could be recorded lawfully:
https://www.xda-developers.com/android-p-call-recording-tone-support-record-phone-calls-lawfully/
I can confirm that Google did this... I'm in UK and here you don't need consent to record calls, but because Vodafone is Germany based and there you need consent, they activated this tone feature for UK clients as well. Which means that every time I call someone and record a call, other party hears 1400Hz tone every 15 seconds, making call recording pretty much unusable.
Any ideas from fellow hackers how to turn this feature off?
The tone is a 1400Hz note that will play every fifteen seconds if the carrier enables it. It works by detecting the package name of a call recording app using the previously linked API. If any such package is detected, then the outgoing call will have the tone played to warn the other end that their call may be recorded. The tone will be automatically played depending on carrier configuration, which is determined by the SIM card.
Any chances to change a package name to something that wouldn't be recognized by this new feature?
Pixel 3, unlocked bootloader & rooted.
Thanks!
Anyone please?
