I don't intend to do this and I hope no one else intends to do this, but I was wondering if it is possible to port the new windows 10 for raspberry Pi to and android phone. Just a question for education reasons, after all who in the world would preference windows phone over android.
Just noticed that that raspberry Pi edition might not have touch control...

I've Googled and Android Market-ed, and was wondering if anyone knew of an app that will handle SPSS or JMP datasets and outputs for Android? I'm trying to make the excuse that I bought this tablet for school.
That is a bit of a stretch. But, have you heard of PSPP, the open source clone of SPSS? It's available for both Linux and Windows, so if we get Ubuntu running on our tablets, your prayers may be answered.
I have, but I was unaware there was even a chance of Ubuntu on this thing. The possibilities!
has anyone considered porting WM6.1 or (6.5) to this device?
it's a strange request i know, but i am very interested to know if it's possible. i read that the X1 and X2 ran WM6 so i thought that might be a starting point if some of the drivers would be similar.
the background to this is that i have 50 guys running around the countryside with HTC HD2s operating in a DIY kiosk mode, doing farm audits on a WM6 app i've developed for a client. these devices are discontinued now and running out of supply. i'd like to stick with the Windows platform and the range of WM7 devices is very poor, and don't get me started on the Marketplace publishing bureaucracies. WM6 is a great platform for business use, and i'm curious to know if it will ever run on the excellent range of android devices?
AFAIK, Windows Mobile isn't open source and it hasn't ported to android devices.
But I think it's possible to run Windows 95.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
Has anyone ever thought about building their own Android-based vehicle head unit? I'm looking to build an Android Honeycomb system running on a Intel Atom chip (D525MW motherboard). I don't want to insert a tablet into my car dash & I am hoping to stay away from using Windows or Linux. I know its an ambitious idea, building the hardware & the operating system, but if this works it will be an awesome customized head unit.
Is this a completely ridiculous idea that I should abandon & go with a Linux or Windows based setup (or a tablet)? Or is my idea of a custom Android, Atom based vehicle head unit a good idea? Granted I have never developed an android OS myself, but I am willing to do whatever it takes to learn & do this, however long it will take.
If this is a plausible idea, can anyone point me in the direction of a book or two or website(s)?
With windows 10 being available for ARM cpus, does anyone know if anything has been tried to port it for the Tab GT-P7510? I know microsoft has said theres a version of it for the Tab Note 10.1, and it will be available for Raspberry Pi also. I dont have nearly the technical skills or Id be doing more than just asking questions. Thanks all!
Hi XDA. i have on my laptop as secondary os Mac OS X (Hackintosh)
Is something similar possible on phone? It will be nice to run iOS on android phone as secondary os.
I dont mean theme, but full system.
If not, can be it possible in future, or it is really inpossible to port?
No.
Maybe one day...
