I finally broke my official Dell case for my 7840 and was looking for a fake leather sleeve and picked up one of these and thought I would pass it along.

It fits really well, and up like using my tablet without a case anyways so this is great for traveling. If you would like me to take any pictures just let me know.
Which type of the sleeve did you choose? The 8.4 Pro or the 8.0 regular?

Hi all,
I was hoping somebody could point me in the right direction for a decent case that protects better than a generic fit 10.1" case I could buy at the local Wal-Mart. I use my tablet with the dock attached 98% of the time and it travels to work and home with me everyday. I would love to have it in a good protective case that would allow the dock to remain attached but I didn't know if anything existed, or at least something I can't seam to find.

I like the Gumdrop brand myself. Not 100% hardshell, heck the bak is rubber with no exo-skelton of any kind. Does come with integrated/replaceable screen protection and it covers all openings. Check it out.

I have a gumdrop case on my Galaxy Tab. It is a good case but I would like to maintain 100% usability of my keyboard/dock

That's pretty nice, I may give that a go and see how it is. I need to find something, today I left my tablet on top of a 6 foot tall 480v transformer and it fell out of my passenger seat of my truck going down the interstate so it takes some abuse. But I use the dock for typing documents 3-7 times a day which is why it is important I can keep it attached.
Here are the Accessories for Dell venue 7/8 Pro I found.
Found this case
and accessories kit:
1. Folio Stand Cover Case+OTG Cable
2. Car Kit for Dell Venue 7/8/8 Pro
any other better recommendation?
Next thread down is the case discussion for the 8s. I would assume some of those makers will also be making cases for the 7s.

I discovered that the cases for the Asus Memo pad 7 (ME173x, and ME172v) fit. I tried a few out at walmart one day.
I checked out the case in the link, it's just a generic case. Not one specifically for the Dell Venue. If you look closely you can see that the volume controls would be covered up.
This case came from walmart.
I found this one one Amazon.

Should be here Friday, I'll let you know how it works out.
The pics are from the Venue 8, the Venue 7 cases just came out this week.
My case came in today.
Here's the pics.
Fits great, USB not covered up.
Volume buttons are covered but by fake leather, but it's not a problem to press them.
I'm very happy.

Hi everyone, I hope you all are enjoying your galaxy tab pro's. If you're like me, you are looking for a good case. I came from the Nexus 7 2013 and I bought this case http://www.seidioonline.com/asus-google-nexus-7-2013-dilex-case-cover-black-p/bd2-csk3asn72-bk.htm and it was one of the best cases i've ever owned. I decided to ask seidio on twitter if they planned on making any cases for the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 and this was their response
"Currently we don't have any plans to make cases for the Tab Pro 8.4, but I will forward your request to my product team."
Now, I think if we get enough people to ask for them to make a case they might do it. If you can, would you please send them a tweet asking if they could make a case for the Galaxy tab Pro 8.4? It would mean alot to me and it would benefit all people who want their cases for their new Galaxy Tabs.
Here is their twitter: https://twitter.com/Seidio
Thanks, and please respond here if you do tweet @ them.

It does cover the front glass, with far more protection than most other flip book style cases. Cases like poetics slimline are nice, but having the flop cover slide all over when trying to read on the tablet for extended periods of time is annoying. Check out a review on YouTube to see what I mean.

I guess "better" is subjective, because I would much rather have a simple slip-in case than either of those. I don't want zippers, a stand or anything else.
Hello,
I'm having trouble finding a flip case that isn't so stiff it won't fold properly. I'm looking for something with a loose hinge and preferably that doesn't stick out past the edge of the phone.
I liked my nexus 10 flip case so much I decided to get one for my Note 3... Turns out the official +"non" S-View one is stiff as can be. You can hold the phone out flat with the cover open and it's almost parallel with the phone.
It looks like there was an older version of the official S-View case that might have been this way. However, it doesn't look like this is available anymore.
This is the sort of case I'm looking for.
Any help would be great. Thanks.

How is that similar to the Nexus 10 cover?
like this
I was actually going to recommend the case that stoney73 recommended too as well. Maybe because I read the word hinged.
