Hi, I have been using my Z2 for quite a while now, this is the first problem I ever encountered even though there has been many other common problems like screens and gap.
As you can see from the pictures, the bezel on my power button had fallen off.

It doesn't make sense that it will fall off easily as this is meant to be a waterproofed phone.
Anyone who have faced same issues do give me some help, tried googling but can't seem to find any similar people with same problems.
I will be sending a help request tonight to Sony.
THANK YOU!
Woah..Unlucky one.. Im seeing this for first time also.Contact sony centre and ask for a repair/replace. ( Its looking kinda cool actually :silly

This happened to my z1 lol

Sony fixed replaced the whole frame but the funny thing is it fell off again after a couple weeks, so I used glue instead and never had the same problem again, now I have noticed that the ring on my z2 is kinda lose too. Time to use glue again I guess

I could but I didn't want to wait another 3 weeks for something I could fix myself
This happened on my Z1 as well. Actually the power button fell off, not the bezel. Amazingly, Sony said it wasn't covered under warranty. Comical.

Sounds weird, but this is the 2nd ATRIX I've received and within 4 months, a portion of the LCD screen just...dies. not dropped or water damaged either. Also with both phones it was the SAME part of the screen...and almost exactly 4 months apart...odd.

As you can see, that strip doesn't recognize contact, in either portrait or landscape. Anyone else experience this flaw?
Yup. But mine was at the top. I sent it in for warranty and got it fixed.

I've also got the same problem, except the dead portion of the screen is the exact part where the first notification in the notification bar is.
Any ideas?

Digitizer. The weakest part of that phone. If its in warranty, you're lucky. If not, search around for a replacement.

I just bought my second digitizer. (first one was not oem and worked but it didnt have minor details like tint where the sensors are.) My original one went dead, the second one i dropped the phone and it started going bad. Here is a link to an oem one from amazon. It should get here by monday so I will update you on the condition of it. I would NOT recommend going for a cheaper non-oem version.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0053EYGEO/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00
EDIT: I got the digitizer... and broke the ribbon cable lol. It was in perfect condition though and the company issued me an RMA so im getting another. I am sure that it worked fine. Seems like a great company (i got it from seller1on1) I have bought from them before, i cant say anything about how good the other companies are.
Does anyone else have a dimple/dent that goes from the bottom of the rear camera to the AT&T logo? Its like a line dent.
Thanks
Nope
Nope... Let me guess you didn't do anything that will cause it?

I'm not sure how that would happen from a user.

Thats the way it came.. I guess I could take it back to AT&T and have them pull out another one to compare and return it if the other one is not dented..
A guy at best buy said it had something to do with teh 0 space deign or something.. I think he was full of it..
I have a random dent/dimple on my HTC One on the right side of the back; I never dropped the phone or anything. It's my work phone so I'm not going to go jumping through hoops for a replacement because I have a case on it but if it was my personal device I'd be exchanging it in a heart beat.
I have strange, antenna like structures coming out of my One's earphone jack, and they seem to be watching me, spooky.

I had three of them around the camera. Looked like zits. I took it right back in to best buy and exchanged it. The new one doesn't have it. So if you got it I'd recommend an exchange.

I went to AT&T on the 15 th day thinking I had plenty of time. Guess I should've read the receipt. I was thinking I still had 30 days to return it,, Oh well. It's not that noticeable, but I know it's there, so it bothers me a little..
Hey folks, I dropped my Z Ultra and it cracked the glass in the corner, the screen and touch are still 100% functional but the phone doesn't look sexy anymore...
I was wondering if I will need to replace just the touch screen, I don't know how this phone is layered and how deep the damage was so if any of you guys have any experience on that and could look at the photo bellow to give me an advise I would appreciate it.
Thank you
Cracked screen:

Is almost impossible to replace the digitizer without a proper tools...
U can try but i can tell u the adhesive Sony used are pretty strong as is water resistance device...
I would suggest u to just put some stickers/protector film instead...
But if I buy the LCD + Digitizer it should be no problem right?

I was thinking of. I have replaced many phone screens before from iPhones and I've got a toolkit with tiny screwdrivers, etc.
Send it in to Sony. i cracked mine twice. first time sony charged me $250. The second time they sent me a new phone free of charge

6P complete teardown. http://www.witrigs.com/blog/huawei-nexus-6p-teardown/
That is awesome, was this a difficult process? Just curious as I hate the idea of a non removable battery and would like to hope I could tear it down and replace it myself if needed.
:Funny thing...
This is what 75 percent of owners have said has happened to their phone, after a 3 inch drop onto a goose-down pillow
This phone looks good even when torn down!

Was thinking the same thing
You've got bigger cajones than me. This sort of stuff is far too fiddly for my liking
If it ain´t broke, don´t fix it Take good care and use a protective case and your phone will be good for at least 2 years ( until you get to choose a new device from your mobile provider ).
I have to say the battery is fiercely glued in. If you want to see how to change the battery, you can come to Witrigs.com/blog to see the process. Hope it does help.

Is there any information regarding the headphone jack audio amplifier chip?
The most intimidating thing about taking this apart is the glass over the camera area. Sure, I might get it out but not breaking it in the process is going to be tough much less getting it back without the glue looking like crap.

That's the beauty of the N6p. No provider needed.....you can buy a new one whenever you want!
Bought a used Xperia Z2 today. Having owned 2 in the past, it was very stupid of me not to check it throughly, anyway I paid the guy and went home.
It was on 5.1.1, so as I was setting it up, I lowered the brightness a bit, and immediately the bottom of the screen started flickering, it also showed weird multi colored lines and it only happens when the phone is NOT on full brightness.
Even if I adjust the brightness slightly less than full, it starts flickering again.
This is the phone at full brightness.

These two are less than full brightness.
What could be the problem and how would one go about it?
P.S: I texted the seller and he advised a software upgrade. So I flashed the 6.0.1 FTF and it's still happening.
Any replies will be appreciated.

Buyer also idiot.
Damn.
He isn't being helpful and told me to pi** off in a very kind way.
Guess I'll have to dump this and lose money on it.
Thanks for replying.

Update: He has the cheek to reply after being rude and says, it's a software problem. Then when I told him I flashed a new FTF and did a factory reset, he says have it checked out by a phone repair guy.
Then he turns his phone off. :/

But true tbh. His advert was posted on 2nd May, so clearly he wasn't getting better offers.
Anyway, guess I'll go one of those weekends to sell it off.

I tried my last resort thing.
Opened up the phone, took it apart, put everything back together and the problem went away mostly, but it's still there sometimes.
Guess I'll actually have to dump the phone then.
