Mismatched partition size(recovery) should not be a problem, it just saying that your recovery is smaller in size than the stock recovery. Did you got this problem after downgrading from lollipop? As a trial and error thing, try to flash stock recovery and see if it boots.

Try this command mfastboot flash partition gpt.bin (you must have the stock firmware in the directory)

Hello guys,
I just rooted my HTC explorer for the first time. I was following this tutorial: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1415223
Everything was working fine until after installing the recovery.
After copying the superuser.zip to the SD and rebooting to bootloader menu, I click recovery and just get stuck on a HTC green logo.
If i take the battery out, I power back the phone and it works fine.
If i try to enter bootloader menu, and enter recovery, i get stuck again at that screen.
In the menu my phone appears as "unlock" so i supposes all steps before were fine..
If you guys could help it would be immensely appreciated!
apparently this is something that happened to many users but i couldn't find a straight answer on how to solve it!

Hi,
my P760 is in a boot loop since yesterday. When it starts, the LG logo comes up and then it reboots again and again.
I tried the recovery option with the LG Tools, but after flashing the V20H-ROM, the bootloop is still there.
What can i do?
Thx
Mirko76
Today i tried fastboot and reflashed the bootloader:
Code:

sending 'u-boot' (1024 KB)...

After flash stock rom, did you try to hard reset your phone? http://www.hard-reset.com/lg-optimus-l9-p760-hard-reset.html

I tried a lot of possibilities to repair the bootloop, but nothing helped.
I flashed the ICS Bootloader and flashed an ICS Rom with the offline method, but after Flash the boot Loop is still there.
A hard reset doesnt help.

Boot loop still there after flash kdz and hard reset! Strange. Flash kdz should restore factory rom and hard reset is remove all user data. What did you do before get that boot loop?
Did you try method in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2411265
I did nothing before the bootloop. The battery was empty and after i plugged in the power supply, the phone was in the boot loop.

i got that same partition does not exist error when i was trying to flash the wrong xloader and uboot in fastboot. not saying you're flashing the wrong ones, but that maybe it has something to do with fastboot.. ?

Could you have typed partition name incorrectly ? like "fastboot flash xloader..." instead of "fastboot flash x-loader..." ?

i'm fairly certain i did 'x-loader' because i was copying the text in a batch file you wrote. hard to remember exactly. when it happened, reading about possible problem with the phone i got sad inside. if i ever need fastboot again i'll try it through vmware ubuntu install
Im using a fastboot script, so i dont think that the filenames are wrong.
Ok, i give up. I think the phone is dead.

Since u can enter into fastboot, it's not hard bricked.
U can try flashing another recovery or stock recovery
With fastboot flash recovery recovery.img or maybe restoring stock firmware.

Hi
I have Mm 6.01 installed via adb sideloading from lollipop without any wipe. Somehow it worked.
The reason I had to do it that way is that phone is encrypted but when I boot to TWRP it does not recognise my decryption Pin so I couldn't flash from recovery.
I was using the seraja recovery.
Anyone got access to the encrypted partitions through TWRP? I don't know how to install TWRP 3.0.2 which might have a fix for the pin problem. Each way I try doesn't work. Any ideas?

Since you was on a twrp recovery so you made your bootloader device unlocked so you can easily install twrp 3.0.2 which maybe help you in solving your problem
To flash Twrp 3.0.2 follow this:
1- Download Twrp 3.0.2 from this link: https://dl.twrp.me/sirius/twrp-3.0.2-0-sirius.img.html
2- By using Fastboot you have installed on your PC, Put the twrp 3.0.2 you have downloaded in step 1 in the folder of ADB and Fastboot and you can flash twrp 3.0.2 by using this command: fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.0.2-0-sirius.img
If there is any question or a problem with this guide just tell me and i will help you
I hope that i had helped you.

So your problem has been solved or not??
If not you have to unlock your bootloader which will allow you to install twrp recovery from adb command successfully.
Tell me the final result
After reflash from 11.2.5.26 to 10.12.3.130 (yes, downgrade) phone stucks on logo. Recovery also doesn't boot - phone goes into fastboot. On try to flash boot or recovery I have:

FAILED (remote: dtb not found)

Phone starts to boot with boot.img image from 10.12.3.130 but stucks like in ordinary boot.
Tried to boot from TWRP images for other phones - on old images there's no error but phone stucks. With new images - same error with dtb. As I see, I need recovery from JB version, but I can't find it not among stock on asus.com, nor TWRP or CWM. Another way is to unlock partitions, but I can't find, how I can do this too.
I'll be grateful for any help.
Hello and welcome to XDA Q&A section of the Forums.
I suggest you try to format "boot" and then re-flashing it. Do so by typing "fastboot erase boot", then follow standard procedures for flashing boot. You can even try doing so with the recovery partition and see what happens (I suggest you do this before erasing your boot).
If I helped, hit "thanks" .

Thanks. I didn't write it, but I already erased recovery and then boot and then tried to reflash them in order. No difference, still "Security is Enable, close 'flash' function".
