My friend has a zte z667g running 4.3 stock. Her boyfriend messed with her phone one day and it will no longer send text messages. Originally it would not receive texts/calls or send them, but she called Tracphone and they fixed all functions except for sending text messages (it still receives them). Out of curiosity I had her try attaching a picture and sending a mms and it worked. What could be causing this issue? When attempting to send text messages, it automatically marks the message as not sent.

Ever since I got I my X10, I haven't been able to send big texts (ie text messages that have text covering 2 or more messages) more than 2 messages - those that took 3 or more would fail in sending.
Since I updated to 2.1, I now cannot even send texts that take 2 messages - fails immediately.
Has anyone else noticed this problem, is there a setting that can be changed, or is it a carrier-issue?

i have a problem with my phone sending sms. this phone was bought in korea (lg ku5900) but i live outside of korea. whenever I send an sms greater than 70 characters, it gets cut off. The receiver of my message will just receive the the first 70 characters of the sms i sent. but in my phone it shows i have sent the whole message.
I have tried replacing the stock korean sms apk with froyo stock sms apk but to no avail messages still gets cut off.
with regards to my service provider, there is no problem with them since i am able to receive long text messages from my contacts. maximum i received around 500 character equal to 4 sms.
is there anyway to go about this problem?
Has anyone experience sms issue when trying to text you receive a unable to delivery message, but can send out a couple more text and it work. it just randomly wont send text?
After i did the verizon ICS upgrade for Droid Razr, i cannot receive MMS/Picture messages. I can send picture messages without any problems but cannot receive it. I restarted my phone but didnt help.
anon this new M 8, if I attempt to send a text message to more than one person at a time the SMS capabilities freeze up and won't let me send any more messages until I delete the outgoing message and restart my phone. This is something I would do with no problem on the galaxy s4, does HTC have an issue with sending a message to more than one person?
