Hang tight guys! I uploaded the D850 version already, but with the weather here, uploading the multi-variant version will take a while. It'll be up sometime today or tomorrow.

thats the way I like it, without LG useless service.

This is nice! LG stock without LG stock... Lol.
I guess it's just to flash the G4 ported apps if one would feel the need for some stock apps right?
Not sure how it works....

It comes with all of the advantages of stock (better battery life, vastly better camera, etc) absent most of the LG bloat... sounds like a win to me!

How's the uploading going?

Any screenshots? I know it's just normal LG but still, makes it feel more complete to me , by the way, could you put up a list of all apps that are installed by default? Or are the apps listed above all that's installed? ^^
Great work anyway! Might give it a shot in a few days :good:

Only issue I have is that I'm no longer able to access my SD card with this ROM.

Did you use "Fix Permissions in TWRP"? Are you talking about external or internal SD? If external, is it ExFAT?
Btw guys, I am uploading the variant version soon, just running into some slight bugs.

Does it have multi Windows support? Not sure if it's a an app. Thanks for your work m8

Can you share the link of the international (D855) version?
Thanks.

I was talking about the external SD. I dont remember if its formatted as exfat or fat 32 (its the default format android formats SD cards to). I get a SD card inserted message when i boot but it does not show in any file explorer. I will try the Fix permissions in TWRP and see if that helps.

No! Don't use fix permissions it could break things and is useless nowadays. The external SD works for me, but i'll take a look. If it's exfat the kernel doesn't support it.

Mate ..will the upload finish soon ? =[

I need some testers. Tell me what variant you have and I'll send you a link sometime today/tonight with a version of Slick. Please no ETAs, it's someone close to me's birthday so I may be out of the house all day. I have them uploaded, but I need more testers to make sure nothing is broken before I release. D855 is being added to the OP as it works.

F.A.Q
Q: Links are dead. what now?
A:Had to format my hdd and forgot to backup. ask for someone to share.
Q: Whos this rom build for?
A: This rom is for those who want to keep all samsung functions and still be able to use mods, tweaks, and themes out of the box.
Q:What is the "R" Version aka "The ICS Killer"?
A: "R" stands for reduced as its a slimmed version build from standard version
Q:Does "R" version has more functions/Apps than the standard version ?
A:The only difference apart of the removed apps its the TW launcher. R version uses tw4.5 instead of tw4 used in standard version
Q:Can I use TW4.5 in the standard builds?
A: Yes you can, theres a patch in first post. altough you'll lose samsung widgets support.
Q: Why is the tegrak kernel included in last build(s) ?
A: Cause its the only one who provides mods and overclock without breaking any vital functions
Q: I have lost recovery and CWM app. WTF ?!?!
A: this is due to tegrak kernel used not supporting it. so either use this kernel or install one you prefer(all work fine)
Q: I cant connect my Bluetooth mouse or keyboard. what should I do?
A: use default tegrak or Cf kernel. all others(until date) break that function
Q: how should I install this rom ?
A: just put the zip file in your sd card and install from recovery
Q: I have Fc's , lockups, freezes. what should I do?
A: Rom as been tested before release. so just wipe and reinstall and you should be fine
Q: sometimes I end up with my screen upside down. WTF?
A: its a known bug when using crt on effect. disable it in jkay app. crt off works fine
Q: I lost my CWM recovery flashing this rom. how can I install updates ?
A: See tegrak tutorial on how to use tegrak recovery here. if your not confortable with that. install any other kernel from odin and youll have your recovery back
Q: I still dont get it about this tegrak recovery. what now?
A: Install CF kernel from odin. bam! there you go your precious recovery is back
Q: as this rom RTL support?
A: not by default but you can patch it with this zip file and it should work
Q: Installed the RTL patch but my samsung keyboard is no good. what now?
A: Install this patch themed keyboard, courtesy of vertumus
Q:I have no root or superuser app. is it normal?
A: if you're using one of the builds with tegrak it is. just install tegrak kernel app from market and enable it from there
Q: how do I overclock with this tegrak kernel?
A: install tegrak overclock tool from market. ultimate version is advised for full control of cpu and gpu overclock. nice guide here
Q: I want to change the default csc configuration. how can I do that?
A: do it manually if you know how or install nitrality from market. its free and works wonders
Q:Why have you removed call rec support?
A:Due to legal questions I rather not use it by default. use this zip file to enable it
Q:what applications did you remove from the R version ?
A:You can find the list here for V45R2 and here for V46R3
Q:I'm not happy with the apks you chosed to remove, can you add a couple of them back?
A:No. Default build has all apps by a reason. use that instead.
Q:My default camera is force closing. what now ?
A:Issue already fixed in new uploaded versions. if you dont want to re-download the full rom, install this zip from recovery.
Q:I love this rom. how do I donate to you?
A:click the text in my signature and contribute to my "buy a Chinese tablet fund"
Q:where can I get a signature banner for V3RT3MA ROM ?
A:Grab it here. courtesy of my friend Karel
Q:Can I use pdroid privacy protection on this roms?
A:Its included in the lastest builds but you can install it in older builds. Use this patch to enable support. and this if you want to remove it.
Q:How does pdroid work ?
A:Its a privacy protecting mod. install pdroid app from market to configure it.
Q:Does this rom support multi DPI ?
A:Kind of. to full DPI support install laucher pro and ex dialer + ics theme from market. all the rest should work with different dpi settings. (tested 182 & 190)
Q: have no ICS themed camera. what now?
A: themed camera has only been included in vertumus version 1.9. install this zip from recovery.
Q: heard about v3rtr3ma exclusive bootanimations. where can I get them?
A: Install this zip for bootanim1, or this for bootanim2
!!!WARNING!!! Dont flash default builds on top of R builds. you'll end up with a ton of laucher FC's
Really like to see all your efforts on these roms and the development for Galaxy S2..

rawr is a void kernel feature.
since I moved to siyah in this version rawr is not availlable.
void development is stopped and siyah is working really smooth
if i find siyah to become unstable I'll revert to siyah on the next build
you can always flash void over this. but you'll lose a lot of governors, boot animation, and CWM app
have you tried new neak kernell. seems a decent alternative. I will test that and see if it doesnt break bt mouse support

Well I've used Siyah previously before flashing your rom, and I was pretty happy with it, so I'll probably stick with it. Neak does sound intersesting though.
Would it be difficult for me to impletement rawr to Siyah? Just add a script somewhere or something?

Ok, one more question: Would it be possible for you to implement the awesome KitchenPro app from this rom:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1312240
Or is the app somehow restricted to that rom only?

[ROM][JB][MIUI4.1][GSM][SUSPENDED] Turbo MIUI v0.52.20914 (MIUI 2.9.14 on CM10)

Development suspended until (if) CM10 gets to a faster and stable state. If you want a fast, fully working new MIUI experience, check out my other ROM.

Here is an alpha release of MIUI4.1 based on CM10 for the Xperia Play. It is built upon CM10-FXP137 and MIUI Jellybean for the Nexus S.
I am using this ROM as a daily driver now and it seems to be very stable. But since CM10 is still alpha, there may be some bugs still. Future updates may also require a factory reset, so be aware of that.
A CDMA version will come soon, as soon as CM10 is confirmed working on R800x I will work on it for MIUI.
Make sure you read the blue section "Special Notes/Partially working" below before using! It contains very important existing issues and work-arounds.
Working (tested):
Calls / Text / 3G / Data
Audio
Wifi
Camera
ALS / Auto-brightness
Web Browser (from MIUI 2.8.24)
Google Play Store (fully)
Google Now (no Voice Search)
Music/Gallery/Screenshot feature (Menu+VolDown)
Location/Maps/Compass
Gamepad
Touchpads (On most games, thanks to farenheith)
If you find a game that still doesn't have working touchpads, report it in farenheith's thread. Known games reported still not working:
- Dead Space
Not working:
Torch (unknown issue)
Wifi Tether (CM10 issue)
?
Partially working/special notes:
After call is ended, audio is not routed back to loudspeaker. Sounds will be very quiet! You need to either replug headphones or reboot the phone to fix it... sadly this is a CM10 issue and I can't fix it.
In Notification Panel, the Clear/Options button in top-right corner goes off the screen. Change font-size to "Small" (in Settings > Display) to fix this for now.
Google Play Store might not show installed apps or purchased apps after signing in for the first time. Simply 'Clear Data' for Google Play Store to fix it.
When screen is off, VolUp does nothing and holding either Vol button will only skip music tracks forward
?

v0.2.20817
----------
- Update: CM10-FXP135

- New: Kernel samepage-merging enabled
- New: Strict-mode checking disabled
- Note to self: We use libwebcore from FXP134 and WebKit core framework from MIUI v2.8.17 from now on

No, and no. Read the OP. It takes me a long time to upload.
I will release a CDMA test version soon. This will take a while because I have to upload two separate versions and I don't know if CM10 for zeusc even works yet.

It does on pax's 7/29 build. You could use that as a base for the cdma variant as that has *almost everything working.

No, this is my own work. If I got it from that guy I would have given credit to him.
EDIT: He probably used my own research. Unlike most XDA "developers", I like to share what I know with the community. Or maybe he is actually one of the few skilled hackers on here and also did it himself like me.
gonna try it later after work and will report the bugs

Sure, why wouldn't it? Unless you mean the CM10 bug where it says "Unable to install to internal USB or memory card" when you try to install paid apps from the Play Store, no. That is a CM10 bug. But restoring everything from TB works fine, and installing free apps/updates from Play Store works fine.

Awesome, I know pax will update once he's able to and eventually fxp will figure out data as well.
Going kinda off-topic with this so let me know if you'd rather not discuss it here but, do you build your kernel with ics sources modified for JB or from fxp's jb sources?

The kernel I'm building from is branched off JBX repo (on the 'jellybean-turbo' branch), however I did a full tree comparison and the FXP CM10 jellybean kernel is identical to the JBX one - apart from the zRAM update from FXP (Google snappy compression) which I have already merged in CM9 turbo kernel. The RAMDisk is based on FXP RAMDisk.

The full SemcRIL code for this ROM is taken directly from CM10, along with BaseCommands and PhoneFactory. It was actually a requirement to get it booting. Using my existing scripts but replacing the CM10 base for CDMA version, and the MIUI base for the CDMA Galaxy Nexus version, it should hopefully be enough....
...I would upload my "kitchen" so people can try to build it and bugtest, but how many of you guys with CDMA zeus's are good with smali? Also it requires Windows Vista/7.

Of what? MIUI or CM10? Check the JBX thread for CM10 working CDMA. Wait, cj posted the link a few posts back to a CM10 for zeusc with working data.
Sorry to hijack cosmic,
My guess as to why CM10 data stopped working for CDMA is because of a commit done a while back (August 5th)
Now that I have a working PC i'm gonna try to undo that & see if that's the issue & if it is, I need to coordinate with FXP to create a ril for cdma & edit some common files

That's fine, it's is still relevant since it's based on CM10. So is that build linked a while back working with CDMA fully or not? I will probably not update the GSM ROM of this until next FXP release anyway so.... yeah.
It would be good if FXP CM10 had CDMA working, because then I could easily create a patch for this GSM ROM. I really don't want to have to upload two full ROM's every time.

Install Guide:
Important for v2.0 : many thanks for @ RenegadeX44 for the feedback:
CWM is not reading uppercase and you have to change it.
To do so you have to mount your SD card, enter the folder, press ALT and get the bar in Windows (some options) and then press Tools > Folder Options.
Then, press View tab and find an option that says: "Hide extension for known file types" and UNCHECK it.
Then change the extension of the ROM file to lowercase (.zip) and you will be able to mount it.
Copy the ROM to your SD Card
Reboot to CWM
Make a backup of your current system
Make a Factory Reset
Install the ROM
Wipe Cache & Dalvik
IMPORTANT: When installing v2.0, you have to install Chainfire's SuperSU .zip file to get proper root permissions, dowload link attached
Reboot your device [may take several minutes]
Enjoy!

Tutorial for removing camera shutter sound & safe volume warning @ shhnedo
- download and install Xposed 2.6.1(stable version for safety)
- install Xposed Framework from Xposed Installer
- reboot
- download and install GravityBox[KK] and App Settings modules through Xposed Installer
- enabled the two installed modules in the Modules section in Xposed Installer
- reboot
- in GravityBox find the Media tweaks section > click it > find Safe headset media volume option > UNCHECK it or just make sure it is unchecked > done
- in App Settings find your camera app > click it > click the ON/OFF button on the top, you'll see settings appear > scroll down to the bottom and check Mute audio > click the Save button next to the ON/OFF button > click OK > done
- reboot just for fun
- profit
All these steps are valid for the P710 device with Purified Stock ROM v2.0(4.4.2 KitKat) (just pointing it out for the protocol).
If you are using another L7 II device and/or the v1.0 (4.1.2 JellyBean) ROM, the steps are the same BUT MAKE SURE YOU DOWNLOAD GRAVITYBOX[JB]! There are 3 versions of GB respectively for JellyBean, KitKat and Lollipop!
App Settings works on everything above IceCream Sandwitch.

Any requests are welcome, though I'd like to keep this ROM close to stock with LG software.

Most definetly it will, though I don't know what's the difference between P710 and P713.
However, ROM's for P715 also work on P710/713, even these two has hardware differencies, so it should work on P713.
If you install it, and you find some bugs/not working features, please reply in this thread, so that I can appear these bugs in the OP. Thanks.
Great ROM thank you for what you've done, I would like to talk to you for a project if you like.

No screenshots to be provided, if you've read the OP, then you must have understand that this is based on stock ROM, with stock applications. Therefore it looks the same as stock. Logic does magic.
ROM is based on V10J Hungary, it has all basic european languages, russian, and so on.
No bugs were found upon testing, only those which also occur in the stock firmware.
Tested!!
Well it's like the name say... "Purified Stock" nothing more, nothing else... Some new things. But for who search a rom different them stock this not one of that roms... Anyway it's a cool rom better them original LG rom. More fast and smooth, no bugs at all (i search for 1 and i do see nothing)... You have all language (for who asked about)... Like the name say "Purified Stock". And stock rom it's ugly :silly:
Anyway nice job. :good: Now make kitkat rom :silly:

Yes, well that was my original goal, the first step for developing anything to this device, first to "purify" the stock rom. And well, yes, it's ugly, we've seen some better - like Sony UI - but there are some worse ones also
However, FYI, a small group of us are forming a dev team to port CM10 to P710, I myself would like to see some results in August yet, so when we'll get factory upgrade to KK, we can see clearly what we can, and than we could maybe port CM11 and so on.
Okay, I already tested it on my LG P713 and here's what I got:
It's stock based. And nothing were changed except the removal of some system apps, which makes me happy because more free space
Also, it's already rooted. I've seen on the xbin folder there's already busybox and su so I didn't have to install it again, right?
I found no bugs so far, I changed the wallpaper and ringtones in Display and Sound Settings and it doesn't give FC
I think the only bug I've encountered is NFC. When I turned on the NFC it doesn't actually turn on the NFC, because P713 doesn't have it LOL:laugh:
Yeah, anything else pretty much the same. Smoother than stock, nice choice for using Now Browser, and finally ID3 Tag Editor inside the Music App. I think I'll stick to this ROM for a while
Keep up the good work @shiftyHungary , maybe add some SystemUI mods and CWM Recovery for this beauty

Hey,
Those are great news. I'm eager to see custom ROMS on P710. Anyway, I could help you as a tester for future.
I've been trying to compile my custom kernel, but with no luck. Whenever I put additional governors, Wi-Fi stops working. That is annoying as hell.

As far as I experienced, that's usual. In most cases, WiFi is the most vulnerable point of a kernel, usually that goes wrong, but the fact is that governors don't have anything to do with Wifi.

It has something to do with cfg80211.ko module, in fact. Whenever I don't touch anything within the kernel, EABI version which I
use for compiling doesn't matter, since Wi-Fi works as it should. But if I try to put more features, like governors, putting updates to it's build (was 3.4.4 at one time), Wi-Fi just like goes away, and I can't seem to do anything. Do logcats help somehow?
And I found one interesting "block" inside the kernel: if I try to mess around with CPU clocks inside, phone just doesn't boot anymore. Even if I unlock one additional clock, which was burried inside, just wasn't enabled, phone doesn't boot anymore or after succesful boot up it would freeze and restart. I'm guessing it has something to do with voltage supplies, because something odd is with proprietary lg board configurations.

Built-in Camera app stops working, when you mess up build.prop. At this point, you'll need to make a clean system install, otherwise Camera app will refuse to work (stupid approach, but that's the only way, because cleaning the app's data wouldn't work, anyway)
This may be a little problem, but does V10J firmware can't turn off the shutter sound via settings?
I was taking pictures and when I tried to set the shutter sound to 'None', I can't find it. Only Tone 1-4

Yes, that's true, shutter sound can't be turned off.
Maybe there'll be a next release with this and other things fixed.
I have flashed it yesterday. Though it feels somewhat smoother and more responsive than stock as the developer said it is simply purified stock, nothing more nothing less. I got 7459 antutu score by the way. Stock camera app works and because my phone is always in silent mode I haven't got this shutter sound.
Thanks! Waiting for new version!

I have found this camera app to be fully functional (tested on AOSP 5.0.2 by Ivan and XenonHD by @audahadi) if you tweak the settings.
Tweaks:
-If you get a black screen or a static image with just camera controls visible, in settings set Viewfinder mode to 'Letterbox'
-If video recording FCs or don't get saved, try setting resolution for video to 720p or lower. (Note that video FCs may also be due to kernel issues especially in the newer source-built kernels)
Ivan's kernel (possible fix for call bug):
NOTE: This will fix mobile data, WiFi and video playback errors common in ROMs which have source-built kernel by flashing kernels from Ivan's AOSP builds and placing reqd lib files.
It should also eliminate the new screen off death (call bug v2), please report if you get call bug with Ivan's kernel.
BUGS:
-Stock FM Radio app doesn't work anymore (5.0.2 ONLY?). More files from Ivan's need to be transferred probably...
Note: @audahadi and @Bitti09 are working hard on the kernel sources. If you want to help them out then I'd suggest NOT flashing these on their CM12/12.1 builds...test their work and give proper feedback.

Oh, I thought the partition layout was specific to 16GB variant, didn't want any noobs bricking their device.
If it worked for you, I'll remove that warning.
And I''ll change permissions too, thanks!

5.1 version up. Note that I haven't tested it.
But it uses the exact same script (just different file, from Ivan's 5.1 build) as the 5.0.2 one (which I've tested to be working) so it shouldn't screw up your phone. Just keep a backup first. Just in case.
If you do flash it, and everything works, please report.
How's the battery life?
Great.. Information gathered at one place is always easy for all. Hope u keep it updated..
Some flashlable zip for vibration reduction?
Is back to stock repartition gives the ota update support for miui..?
As someone comment like he no longer getting update when he change partition layout to 1.2 GB and then back to stock with this zip.

On what? These are just mods and tools. Battery life will depend on your ROM and apps installed etc...

I don't think that's possible. But I'll search around a bit.

I believe @eaXier made a zip based on audahadi's which allows OTAs and MiFlash too (by changing the units to bytes or something)...
I mirrored that one now. :good:

In Settings>Privacy>Privacy Guard>Advanced, you can manage permissions for each app.
Find the ones which are keeping unnecessary wakelocks and uncheck the 'Keep Awake' and 'Wake up' permissions.
Note that disabling 'Wake up' for apps such as GMail/WhatsApp for example will prevent the app from waking up from time to time to sync hence delaying notifications.
PS. Your English is pretty good! :good:

Why you don't post alexkernel v3?

[ROM] [KERNEL] [18 May] [AOE3 Base] [G920F & G920S] StockMOD6 ~~CleanSlate~~ [v1-05]

[ROM] [KERNEL] [18 May] [AOE3 Base] [G920F & G920S] StockMOD6 ~~CleanSlate~~ [v1-05]
StockMOD6 ~CleanSlate~ for Galaxy S6
G920F
Presenting StockMOD6 CleanSlate ROM for the Samsung Galaxy S6 G920F & G920S
Features
- Based on 920i AOE3 Stock ROM
- StockMOD Kernel v02d
- All Market Available (Google Play Store / Galaxy Store) bundled apps removed for true user choice
- Includes all Galaxy S6 Specific apps (Store, Svoice, Splanner, SHealth etc)
- KNOX Totally removed and disabled
- SmartManager Removed
- BusyBox
- Rooted (SuperSU)
- init.d Scripts support in /system/etc/init.d
- ODEX'd
- Build.prop Tweak
- Very clean running services - no garbage or secret Samsung SpyWare
- Hosts file for adblocking
- UK BTU Firmware based CSC
- WiFi Calling, Camera Shutter Sound Control and Camera during call CSC Tweaks
I Always build a ROM like this for myself on any device I own. I always share them even if there are other ROMs out there that are similar. Feel free to download, mirror, and share the ROM with others if you like it.
Instructions
Download the ROM and copy it to the phone storage. Reboot phone into recovery (twrp recommended) and install the ROM. During installation the /system, /cache and davlik-cache will be wiped for you so there is no need to do this manually. You do not have to do a full wipe including /data, although this *is* recommended for your first installation. Subsequent releases of this rom will fully support an existing /data partition.
First boot will take a little longer than usual, and if you have done a full wipe you will need to set the phone up following the normal OOB wizard. If, when running the OOB wizard, it indicates a problem "contacting google servers" simply hit back (lower left soft button) then next again and it will work normally.
As of v1-03, StockMOD ROM uses my custom kernel, StockMOD Kernel. Because we cannot generate signed kernel images, SE Linux has to be disabled. This will break "Private Mode". Please do not ask me to fix that, I cannot.. You can view the kernel thread here

Info for other Devs
Feel free to disassemble and use any part of my rom you wish. However, please remember to give due credit to others if you include any components of their work.
If you like the structure of my flashable .zips please feel free to copy, alter and implement it in your own releases. I find it gives the rom a much more modular feel when building and testing, and opens up more options for special inclusions without modifying the base files itself.

Hi!
Can you help me with something?
I see you completely removed smart manager.
May I ask how?
Because I froze the smartmanager apk with titanium but now I see some drain in gsam with smartmanager framework thread and smartmanager framework message.
Is there something still active in the background while only freezing the apk?
Huge thanks in advance!!
I have v1.01 ready to upload which contains some fixups and more cleanups, and a revised set of build.prop tweaks. its extra smooth with a side order of lubricant

dont forget, to get around the deepsleep bug, you will have to:
CFRoot > Flash TWRP > Flash Stock Recovery again > Flash TWRP again
then you can go a'flashin

Not really. Literally everything you can download directly from either the Play Store or the Samsung Store has been removed. Also removed SmartManager and KNOX. All the default samsung apps like SPlanner, SHealth etc remain
