Assuming that I do a real genius trick, i Flash the wrong Modem.bin, sorry for the incovenience, and always check the RET of roms like EU or BR (mine is the BR and i Flash the EU, such a genius i might say)

I have same trouble. I was having some troubles with my phone so i decided to flash it. I realized i was flashing it with a EU ROM, i haven't read enough because i didn't know the it could have some issues about sim cards signal. And i've been searching for my stock ROM that was RET LA(Latin America) but i haven't found it. I will try it with the brazilian ROM. Last year, i upgraded a RAZR D1 with the brazilian ROM and i had normal signal. I hope this fix it my phone. Any suggestions?

So,as the title says after I flash any custom rom(cm9,jb,gb) my screen freezes at the Motorola Dual Core blah blah...I know the big 3 wipes rule and i did this every time,the only rom i have managed to flash and wich is working is nottachtrix 2.3.6...i also have 4.5.131 ATT en.US but from other providers (Cosmote in Romania) i rooted my phone,unlocked and everything...i can't get over this,can someone help me ?
P.S And smth else,i can't use my data service on Cosmote(did the apn thing) i can use it on Orange and Vodafone but on cosmote it's not working,can someone tell me why ?

Try updating recovery, or better use the recommended recovery for the Rom you want to flash...

I have a SAMSUNG Exhilarate(SGH-I577 AT&T) which my sister bring back from NewYork, and I want it to use my Chinamobile SIM card, and there comes the problem. When I insert my Chinamobile SIM card into the phone, it needs me to input "sim network unlock pin" ,but I don't have this number.
First what I'm thinking is to flash a rom, but this phone model doesn't released in China, I've been searched for 2 days, and finally find it's rom in this forum, I've downloaded two roms

I searched whole day to find a way to unlock this, I've tried Samsung Galaxy S Unlock Tool, it doesn't work. Someone said there is a nv_data.bin file in the system, but I haven't found it even by using ReExplorer. Then I find Samsung tool and installed in my computer, but it doesn't work, does this software need to purchase?
So anybody call tell me how to unlock my phone, Is there any expert, proficient, mybe god can help me, Can someone give me a detailed description how to do this,

My father always says that I keep learning from the forums and I never write anything. Well now something discovered by me. At least I believe so after browsing Internet for several hours.
I read the above recomendation of "kew1701" about flashing a modem of the t989 to the i577, and I thought: That will probably brick my i577 because the i577 is LTE and the t989 don't. It worked for the t769 because the t769 is not LTE either. And both the t989 and the t769 are for T-Mobile.
So I decided to give the try on my i577 with the modem I use to unlock the i727, the UCLD2. I assured my i577 was on ICS 4.0.4 and installed the modem with TWRP.
I originally downloaded that modem from here:

Followed the *#197328640# steps and it worked like a charm! Unlocked!. IMEI intact and all working. Now probably will flash back a i577 stock firmware, if I find it.
(My phone was on 4.0.4 UCLH3)

Ok, i recently buy this phone, and im happy, even when i cant connect to 3g with TELCEL in my country, just EDGE. So, my first question is, is possible get 3g in my country? Cause i try in the *#*#4636#*#* menu, testing CDMA, WCDMA, and others but, when i dont get NONE signal, i just get EDGE.
And the rom in the phone is 4.4.2

I tried flashing several custom roms on my Ntelos S6 Edge but all of them were for other models and I can't seem to find one for the SM-G925R7. They boot up and work perfectly except that they don't detect my SIM card. For some reason I also can't find the right firmware to flash it back to stock. If anyone could point me toward a custom rom that would work, the stock firmware, or anything that could help my problem it would be greatly appreciated. Also if I used any incorrect terminology or anything like that please forgive me as I'm not the most knowledgeable in this sort of thing.
How did you root it? I can't find the solution anywhere.
Try roms for Sprint S6 Edge since your carrier is based on CDMA network.
Any GSM rom you flash will not have correct mobile network settings for CDMA.
I have the entire firmware uploading if you still need

Can you tell me what firmwares installed succesfully even those that didn't recognize the sim card ? i have tried G925PVPU3BOJ7 on the same model as yours , i get an error on odin . I can't configure network settings to search for gsm signal instead of cdma that's why i want to use a different firmware .

Ill have a look around for you mate, but to be honest I've never heard or seen any custom roms for g925r4 model.
What i would do if i was you would be to take the phone to a shop and trade it in for a G925F so many roms for this model
I have an Alcatel PIXI 4 5010e model (Brazil) and after flashing a custom rom I can't get my 3G to work, only 2G. Even going back to the stock rom didn't solve it. I'm from Brazil and so is my carrier. I've flashed alot of different roms (stock and custom), but 3G refuses to work. I've tried using my sim card in another phone and also using a different sim card in my phone, so it's not that.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
(I'm a noob at this btw)
