SuperSu cannot update its binaries,
@hurcos
I had this problem also, Kingroot now sets some file flags to protect them from deletion. If you aren't going to flash a custom ROM then look for a script that should be run from the phone that may work for you. Backup first.

no way to get a390 rooted
hi! i'm trying to root and setup a recovery on this phone but i cannot do it...
tried with no luck:
- scoutdriver73's method: sp flash tool hint me that it can download only a full image
- root with recovery method: script doesn't recognize when i confirm on smartphone for the reset, same for root option in mtk droid tools
- this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2332783 for extract boot.img and recovery.img and fix root permission with mtk droid tool, i get this error: 0 [main] gzip 4324 find_fast_cwd: WARNING: Couldn't compute FAST_CWD pointer when i load my recovery.img on mtk tool.
i noticed there is a size difference between TWRP img i downloaded from web (5640Kb) and the one i extrated directly from phone (6144kb)
any suggest?
thanks
(LATE REPLY) This is how I rooted my a390
I noticed the post is 10 months ago, but I'm replying right now because there may be other users hunting for root solutions for this device.
How to root your Lenovo a390:
1. Download Framaroot: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2130276
Framaroot is an Android app created by XDA user alephzain. It allows you to root your device directly from your Android device-please click on link above to view full compatibility list. Download and Install this app. If it says "Installation blocked", go to your phone's Settings>Security and tick the "Unknown Sources" box. (Believe me, there are n00bs )
2. Open Framaroot. For the a390, there is only one exploit-Boromir, since it's a Mediatek powered device. Select Boromir.
3. Now you see two buttons: Install Superuser and Install SuperSU. You need to select only one of them. Framaroot will then root your device and install Superuser/SuperSU. (Superuser/SuperSU are apps which control root operations on your device ie. ensure no app uses root features without your permission-it is a MUST.)
The choice is up to you, but I'd recommend Superuser since it's like the Industry standard of rooted Android phones.
4. Reboot your phone. You'll find Superuser installed. Open it, swipe from left to right to access Superuser settings. The su binary is outdated and it'll appear in a red font. Tap it to update su binary.
This is proof enough that your phone is rooted, but if you really need to see, here's one more step.
5. Install Root checker from Google Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.joeykrim.rootcheck
Run this app, and if your phone is rooted, Superuser will come up automatically asking you whether Root Checker should be granted permission- press Yes and root Checker will deliver the result.
That's it-congratulations, you've rooted your a390 without any pain. Now you can flash a recovery, install Busybox, overclock your phone, get rid of the dumb apps Lenovo has included with the a390.... Enjoy!
Hello guys! I know it's useless, but anyway, we(@MrBIMC and @r3pwn) crafted root-script for Android Wear!
Download and unzip archive, go to the folder with unpacked data and execute the script:
Code:
sh wear-root.sh
*Note that you'll have to re-run this script everytime you reboot emulator*
Enjoy!

Can u give me proper steps to root ?
Update : ROOTED
Q
@MrBIMC
why should i root it?
is there any app for it to need root access?
or any feature we can access after root?
:good:
I can only imagine what kind of apps Developers will make for rooted smartwatches. We will have to wait and see what wear offers without them first...

I'm with you. Although there may not be much of a need at the time I can see this come in handy when I go and pick up a Wear device and start tinkering. I can already think of a few uses for it. And you know what? Even if I fail, it's future proofing. Who knows what the future may bring with Wear devices and their restrictions/Wear skins?

1. Download Special Framaroot APK for Lenovo A319 from this link : http://downloadsafe.org/file/0yF980
2. Connect your device to your PC using the USB cable.
3. Copy the Special Framaroot APK over to the root of your SD card.
4. Once it’s been copied, disconnect your device from your PC.
5. Head to Menu>>Settings>>Security on your device and enable the Unknown sources option.
6. Open the File Manager app on your device and install the app you copied earlier to your device.
7. Once the app’s been installed, launch it from your App Drawer.
8. Select Install SuperSU from the first dropdown menu.
9. As for selecting the exploit (there’re three, Sam, Frodo and Aragorn), head to this page ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2130276 ) and see what exploit works for your device. Once you find it out, tap on it in the app.
10. The app should begin rooting your device, shouldn’t take too long to finish.
11. Reboot your device once it’s been rooted.
12. You’re all done! Excellent! You’ve successfully rooted your Android device using the Special Framaroot app and you should now be able to see the SuperSU app in your App Drawer!

I will never test it. I don't trust a root app which need internet connection. For what does it need internet? Sending something to someone? I do not trust it. If you say it works, post some screenshots of working titanium backup, betterbatterystats or other apps
I tried another method for other LG Lollipop firmwares, but not working (but at least it works via ADB and download mode, with no internet connection needed -.-)
I just installed the Kingroot app and clicked "START ROOT" and it worked perfectly, i don't even did the rest of the tutorial...
I attached a screenshot of greenify with auto hibernation active (you need root for that, sorry for the Portuguese language)!
Big thanks!

"Do a risk or leave it", wise words. I gave it a try because of XDA translated it into english (but it's still a suspicious app -.-). Now, any idea on how to use SuperSU instead of KingUser? I want remove everything without installing anything else from shell

I meant 'Risk it or leave it'. You are so grouchy today (or always?). You will use this app only once so just do it.

I do it like this:
1. Use KingRoot to root.
2. Install SuperSU and Terminal.
3. Open Terminal and type: su then sh /sdcard/mrw/root.sh
4. SuperSU will open automatically and will ask for binary, accept it and you are done

use last version of supersu (v2.49 - BETA) it has improved Kingroot removal :good:
Just to make clear to everybody, you don't need to install supersu from Play Store you already have it in mrw folder, and when you start root.sh script it will automaticaly install it from folder. I did it a couple of times in the last few days with no problem.
good to know. now just use KingRoot and type command in terminal.
maybe now nobody will have problems with it

How to use KingRoot to root any Android Device
Key Points to Remember
HTML:
If KingRoot finds Sony_RIC is enabled and system can't be mounted, then you need to unroot the device first. Then you can re-root it and disable RIC automatically.
Those who have already installed KingUser on their device, need to install KingUser 4.0.5 fix, before uninstalling the same. Only after uninstalling the KingUser app, you will be able to re-root the device using KingRoot tool.
In case you face issues while removing KingUser, try force stopping KingUser, perform wipe cache data and then root with KingRoot again.
There are two versions of the KingRoot tool: Mobile and desktop.
•I m not responsible for any damage to you're phone.: D
Step 1: On your Android Device, Open Settings > Security > Device Administration > Unknown Source (tick to enable it).
xD
Step 2: Download and install KingRoot APK on your Android Device.
Step 3: Once Installation is completed, you will be able to see the following icon in the Launcher
Step 4: Tap on the KingRoot Icon to Open it. Once KingRoot Application is launched you will be able to see the following screen:
Step 5: Now, Tap on the Start Root Button to begin the root process.
Step 6: Now, KingRoot will start the rooting process.
Step 7: Within a minute or two you will be able to see the Big Green Tick, which signifies that your device is rooted successfully.
Step 8: Restart your Android Device.
Now to replaced kinguser with superSU
Caution: It seems SuperSU-Me App isnt working any more on latest Android Devices. I arent recommending you to try the tutorial on latest Android devices, as it may cause bootloop. If you still want to use, then use it at your own risk.
Remove or Replace KingUser with SuperSU
Step 1: Download Free Version or Download Pro Version of SuperSu-Me Application on you android device.
Step 2: Once, SuperSu-Me Application is installed on your device Open It.
Step 3: Once, SuperSU-Me application is launched, it will ask for the root Permission. Tap on the Allow button to continue.
Step 4: Once SuperSu-Me is fully launched, you will be able to see the following screen:
Step 5: Now, Tap on the Blue Android Button to begin the replacing process (replacing process may take 30-50 seconds to finish).
Step 6: Once replacing process is completed, SuperSU application will launched automatically.
Step 7: Now, you will notice that KingRoot, KingUser and other Chinese application is deleted from the application launcher and SuperSU is installed.
Optional: You can also verify that SuperSU is working correctly or not using any Root Checker Application.
