It looks like they're making some real headway on the TW Lollipop compatibility!
http://www.xda-developers.com/wanam-xposed-updated-with-samsung-lollipop-support/
Thats just a module, which is good as well. Its the framework that is coming along for TW roms.
For now use the unofficial xposed framework if your on stock TW

good info. thanks. I don't have much time these days to dig deep, or watch threads like I used to.
I saw that there was some progress a few weeks ago, it was half working on a specific custom ROM (made for that purpose), and since so many were holding off on lollipop upgrades because of it, it's good news for many.

No surprise here but the Google Edition rom/system dump works perfectly with our Ones =)
Where can we download it?
Im wondering will it push OTA updates as if it were the real google s4? Or does it need to be flashed/patched manually.
If not I will just stick with samsung TW stock.
I flashed various ROMs on my previous phone but always ended up with stock.
I'm pretty sure GE ROM is rock solid but without OTA updates, I hesitate.

Why do people always ask about OTA's when flashing new ROM's? I mean you just flashed a ROM, why are you so concerned about an OTA when you could simply reflash the update when available

WHY does everyone have to ask or worry about NOT getting LTE. WHEN has flashing a ROM every changed the Phones Bands?? NEVER!!! Only modem/Radio does that...

It's a valid question.
I find myself wondering if the GE performs as well on AT&T's networks as the AT&T ROM. Yeah, the hardware bands don't change, but there are other things that affect the performance. It was reported previously that performance on the AOSP-based roms may not be as good as AT&T stock when it comes to AT&T's network. One would hope that this is fixed with the official GE, but that may not be the case.
I'm also wondering how the camera photo quality compares and if there are many options for configuring the settings of the sensor.
Also if the IR blaster can be used if apps are installed, but I'm guessing not... are drivers even included?
~Troop
Stupid question
I am a newbie when it comes to flashing roms. This will be the first time I do this, I already unlocked and rooted my ATT HTC One and have a stupid question...and installed TWRP.
Once I get do I flash it exactly the same way I would CM10.1? How about the Google Apps? Are they included in this zip file?
Sorry for the questions but again...I once flashed CM 9 on an HP Touchpad and that's my only experience ever flashing an Android ROM.
Edit:
I guess my question was...do I just download this Zip file and put it in my main SD directory and flash it from TWRP? Again, what about the Google Apps?

the one also still has some sense framework, thats one of the reasons why tbalden's sense kernel works on the GE rom, also another reason why beats works. neither of the GPE devices are running true AOSP and will probably never be supported in AOSP, I'm hoping that the AOSP Rom Devs somehow are able to use the sources and whats been released so far to build more stable and better performing AOSP roms...till then the GE roms are wicked smooth.

These look fantastic, and I love modular approaches, as it allows for making it one's own phone.
You have been gracious enough to offer, if not a hassle, a holo blue with gray combo would be stunning (like Ultima rom apps, ultimarom.com). See screen capture of Play Store comparison, and dev's website for additional detail. Stock or cool icons both look great.
Either way, thanks for these!

Nope. Ya gotta hit the international version themes and apps thread, there's a baker's dozen of compatible KitKat Air Command themes.
They are all vrtheme mods, quite safe, and only change the relevant image files within the framework-res.apk, leaving all else untouched.
Since this thread appears relatively dormant, here's the link...

Kinks? Just not everything is themed yet. It will be on XDA when 1.0 drops. I am just releasing progress builds as I create the official build.

Forcecloses where? I've had zero since I did a clean install on safestrap 3.65.
Safestrap 3.70 was giving the security forceclose that's effecting some other roms as well.
Did you run the rom long enough to give a fair assessment on the build?
Getting great battery life. Streamed a couple movies through chromecast. That's the reason for Google services being up.

Yep. If your on safestrap 3.70 go back and uninstall updates to safstrap to go back to 3.65 and then flash eclipse clean install one more time and you will be good.

(sorry, thats just me being a jerk. ignore it.)
OK, real talk. Carbon-ROM would be a fantastic addition to our choices. I second the notion.

Looks like they have a universal build up in the original development section over on the international forum. Haven't tried it myself but noticed it was there.

Edit: I went ahead and flashed this and it DOES boot up. I am on the new kitkat bootloader leaked by freeza though so I can not verify anything on jellybean. I have been messing around with it for a few minutes now and no issues that I have come across. Here is a link to the page with the download if anyone else is interested. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2630134&page=20

What's required to get this to flash? Any special requirements or changes prior to flashing or is it just flashable?

Just flash the universal build along with your favorite GAPPS package, no additional steps necessary...
Make sure you do a full wipe, for the best possible outcome

In prefer slim gapps myself since they are inverted but you could use pa gaps as well. Just make sure they are for 4.4 before you download them.

I personally use "Banks Gapps" Google them if u like
Do we need to upgrade from 4.3 to 4.4 to flash this? If so can we go back to 4.3? Seems I read that the 4.4 bootloader is unlocked but then I see where some people on 4.4 are saying they can't go back. Things are moving so fast now that I can't keep up. When it rains it pours but loving all the new toys. One more...does the rom have to be universal to flash on sprint or will htlexx work? On t-mobile s4 I could flash Verizon att and t-mobile roms with no issues. Haven't had a cdma phone in years. Thanks to any one who can provide some insight.
