My lads ace is stuck in a boot loop, I have tried all the fixes but nothing has worked.
I have finally got it to show up in Odin and I want to flash the stock rom but which one should I use there are so many and nothing to tell me which one is right.
Also when I try to download from the samsung-updates site as soon as click on the rom I think I want I get sent to a page with two mirror options of which neither work.
Please help.
Thanks

A little more detail about the ROM and kernel you're using might help.

i was using android revolution hd 16 n perseus alpha 25.3
now i tried
GT-I9300_mx_20120329.pit
then I9300XXELC_I9300OLBEMA1_XSE
once somehow i'm able to repartition and installing rom
but i stack in the midle of process
after that everything i tried it says no pit partition
Try using one of these lowship firmware, they are 3 part+ pit
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1796062
Low ship I9300 firmware for flashing with PIT. (three files firmware)
I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 (GT-19300) international version. I rooted it last night. Took a custom backup of ROM and backup using Titanium backup. I installed cyanogenmod 9 on it today. It was working perfectly. Then when i installed Google apps (gapps) and restarted it got stuck on the bootscreen. I hardbooted and now all i see is this fuzzy black n white screen ( like static). I tried going into clockworkmod recovery but still the same screen. However, i can still go to odin mode.
So i guess i have to install stock firmware through odin now. But i'm unable to download the firmware. All links are on hotfile and as everyone knows , it sucks :/ download stops after 2 min. Cant find a mirror also.
Any ideas what to do? have u guys also encountered a similar problem?
Can someone download and send the firmware file to me somehow(anysend or wetransfer or something)? iv tried downloading it many times but failed

Have you tried downloading the firmware from Sammobile? If you haven't I would recommend taking a look at this link here for the official firmwares for the International Model Galaxy S3, after you have selected your country and carrier, you can download the firmware and flash it through Odin. Let me know if you still have questions .
Thanks for the fast reply
Thats the problem, everytime i try downloading the firmware it just stops in the middle. Anyway, i got the 4.2.2 firmware for my mobile. I tried flashing that, it said no partitioning. So i tried re-partitioning with the .PIT file. But it get stuck on 'Get PIT mapping' with 'SET PARTITON' in white on the box above (COM)port. Doesnt go further. How do i fix it?

Make sure you have loaded the partition file into the .pit file slot. Also I would recommend taking a look at this procedures "How to Proceed" section (Make sure to substitute the correct file's for your device and don't worry about the multi-CSC part of the procedure) on what to do if you get stuck at the "Get PIT mapping" section.
i tried in xp mode too. no luck.
then i tried with odin 1.85 instead of 3.07. Now it doesnt show Get PIT Mapping. It shows 're-partition failed'. I guess thats some progress
But its still a no go for phone. Any idea how to fix it?
I was thinking of flashing the CWM recovery again and try to go to recovery mode. Should i or is it too risky?
I'm also gonna try flashing with the recovery firmware i found on the forum today...

I have the same phone myself and got into similar problem while trying to install 4.4 on it. Best thing i can think of is installing the stock ROM. Sadly xda doesnt have a thread on this nor will i be able to provide you with outside link at this stage. but i can say google for "S7262XXUAML4_S7262ODDAML1_INU" and select a site which shall give you the instruction. Primarily you will need Odin 3.07 or above and Stock ROM "S7262XXUAML4_S7262ODDAML1_INU". Wish you luck

You did "odin this and that"? That's never a good idea. Just saying...
I would try to flash latest AD again but with a proper up-to-date recovery e.g. latest TWRP after making a nandroid backup.

Well then, if you already flashed stock rom via odin, your data is already gone. Make sure your phone is working on stock first now. Please be aware that the first boot after each rom flash might take up to 15 min or so because the cache has to be built at first boot!
You can find the link to TWRP recovery in my signature (see My Gadgets). I suggest your read the tutorials that are linked there also for more information.
thanks again, glad to hear there's still hope. i will do as you advised.
So, in order to get stock firmware flashed and running, can i use twrp-2.8.6.1-i9300.tar from your signature?
1st i odin the twrp-2.8.6.1-i9300.tar, and then reboot into download mode, and odin firmware stock?
in that order? i havent done this in a long time, i've been using AD for so long without any problem, i dont really exactly remember how. i just concern about the touch screen not functioning, i really hope no hardware failures. i never experience anything like this, even in recovery mode, the touch screen doesnt work, i had to flash entire process using up/down and power button
right now i havent done anything since the last attempt ( flashed stock rom, and stuck at samsung logo )
currently., im charging the battery, will try get it up and running after the battery is full
thanks mate

I found my old galaxy tab s t700 and tried resetting it. I had a custom rom and recovery, and now it's looping on the "teamwin" logo which flashes every few seconds. Not sure what to do as it's been years since I've flashed anything. I just want to get my tablet up and running with the latest software available for it, please help

Hi, if you wanna get back to the latest Stock ROM available, simply flash it using Odin3 Tool.
You should try to get the Stock ROM from somewhere else than Sammobile though, because their download speed is a pain in the a$$ haha

Thank you, yeah I'm trying to find another download because I don't want to pay $7.99 just to download something once, and the regular member download speed is going to take forever..
